I don’t recommend this app. They deleted my account for no reason and without notice. All my coins earned is gone!
I like the app, however, up to five minutes to upload online receipts?
When I attempted to load the online receipts, it took A LOT longer than that so I gave up.

The apps have bugs, when i want to link my gmail to the apps. When i link and login to my gmail, The apps always stuck in the gmail menu 2nd authentic

Scammers
I used ReceiptJar consistently for YEARS and spent a huge amount of time scanning receipts. I successfully redeemed a $50 Amazon gift card and a $20 gift card in the past, so I had no reason to believe I was doing something wrong. Recently, I reached another $20 redemption and requested it. Instead of receiving my reward, my redemption was rejected and my entire account was suspended. The explanation? “Receipt Diving - Occasional.” What makes absolutely no sense to me is that I submitted receipts from my own purchases and, occasionally, receipts that members of my family gave me after they went shopping. Receipts don’t necessarily have the purchaser’s name on them, so I don’t understand how ReceiptJar decided that this was “receipt diving.” I was never clearly told which receipts supposedly violated the rules, what I specifically did wrong, or given any evidence explaining the decision. After YEARS of spending my time scanning receipts, this is extremely frustrating. Yes, I received two gift cards previously, but losing access to my account and having another $20 redemption rejected after putting in years of effort is ridiculous. If you are going to spend your time scanning receipts for this app, make sure you fully understand their rules before investing years of your time into it.

This app is a scam
It took me forever to finally have enough to cash out and as soon as I wanted to, they kicked me off telling me I did something wrong, but would not tell me what that was. I’ve read a lot of other reviews that they did the same thing to other people. Don’t waste your time.
15 days to get reward!
I’m so turned off by this app. I work hard submitting receipts only to be told it will take 15 days to get a $5 reward! None of the other apps take that long. It’s so not worth it.

Decent App with Room to Improve
The app is useful for managing receipts and keeping expenses organized. It has the basic features I need, but the overall experience could be smoother. Sometimes the interface feels a bit confusing, and I'd like to see a few improvements to make navigation easier. Overall, it's a decent app that gets the job done.
Fun & Legit
Why not scan receipts and get extra money? You won’t get rich, but every bit helps me. And it is legit if you follow their instructions. Cashing out a quick $5 to get laundry cleaner I forgot to get with my regular grocery hauls.

Need more point rewards and unlimited number of receipts that can be submitted within the deadline. This app limits the points within a timeframe and does not offer other options like games to accumulate extra points. May stop using app when I have enough points to redeem $25.

I deleted the app then gave it another try - managed to get my account back. Eye-pleasing platform easy to navigate. Redeemed my first $20 gift card which took a day with clear instructions. It’s worth trying. Thank you!
Receipts
My receipt won’t scan it shows up blurry and then the scan is black. I thought at first it was the lighting or my camera but I used other apps and they were fine.

Love this APP!!
I’ve been using this app almost 2 year’s and I love it. It’s easy to but the only thing sometimes it’s every 10 day’s not 7 so you have to be on watch otherwise the receipts are old. 🤷🏻♀️. But overall great App!!
Frozen Out for a Week
I have had a frozen screen in this program for a solid week. I did notice a “bug” Update. Did the Update,problem still there.😂😂
Logging in issues
App logged me out. Tried to log back in but password not accepted ( was saved in password manager). Requested password reset. Then needed verification code but email was never received. Emailed customer support and they managed to help me get back in. Good Service ! But App verification issues need to be resolved.

update: scanning is slightly better for paper receipts, but linked accounts never work anymore. also when you go to cash out you get an email saying it will be available 5-10 business days *after* your account is reviewed.. then if you check status it tells you your in a queue for 15 days for your account to be reviewed.. waiting a month to receive a gift card is insane.. so i totally believe some of these reviews crying scam. this really used to be a decent app.. might be dipping into the greedy scam pile now. :/ also if you look at all there most helpful up front reviews is wild they are mostly all on april 7th of this year right? sus --------/-/-------- ive had this app for yeeears happily.. used to work great, not a huge amount of cash, but it would add up if you were consistent.. now it takes 15 min to try and pic/upload one single receipt. IF it even works at all and doesn't completely freeze, needs major bug fixes. way too frustrating i officially just stopped even trying.

Hi this is a really great app but I’m not giving it five stars yet until I know if the payout actually works and also I’m thinking of you adding a PayPal method as well so like people can transfer the money they get from taking photos of receipts and that and like they can receive the money to PayPal I’m thinking that would be a great option. Could you please add that?

Use Fetch instead
I used receipt jar for a couple of years. I read another reviewer that had same thing happen to them. We have 2 adult kids and if my husband buys something at the grocery store or at a fast food place and I buy my own meal later or my kids do and u scan the receipts they flag ur account and disable your account. I was about to collect $10 In Rewards and that happened. What a scam!They are not as good as fetch. Smaller rewards for receipts submitted and smaller amount of points awarded for receipts. And after all that (you giving THEM your information on what you are buying- you are doing THEM a favor) they suspend your account. Deleted the app after I got that suspension email and will stick with FETCH! Would NOT recommend!!
Great app until you get 2 orders for the same $$
Occasionally my husband will get fast food as will I. We use our fast food apps. We eat different things but sometimes the totals are the same even though the name on the order and the food is different. I put it in for review and nothing ever happens. Not a big deal in the scheme of things but definitely annoying when you go to fetch and everything goes through so smoothly. Check them out.

SCAM
After I reach the 50$ gift card reward I’m trying to make it up to the hundred but then I’m about 92% in progress. One time I logged in to upload my receipts and to find out they logged me out due to inactivity and I’m suspended in 30 days and wont be able to redeem my rewards. I spend years in uploading and using this app. Dont waste your time cos they’re NOT gonna give you anything. SUCH A SCAM!!!!

Awful People!
After having & actively using this app for a long time, & having lots of accumulated points, I fell, was hospitalized & had emergency surgery, followed by a long recovery period. My account was terminated due to inactivity. I wrote an appeal and asked, not to get my points back, but just to have an account again and I was denied.

Delete your points
Have been using this app for YEARS, am a chronic online shopper and little by little have been accumulating my points, saving up for the big redemption. Never ever have I had any issues, only for them to claim “inactivity” on my account and delete all my points because I haven’t uploaded a “physical” receipt in over 30 days… I live in the rural outback with shops an hour out of my way.. disappointing to say the least. Big waste of time, don’t even bother.

I faithfully uploaded my receipts to this app, with several other apps as well. I always wait to redeem at 50$. The last I time I attempted, I was denied. They said I was receipt diving. Now mind you they have all my information from receipts. I may have had a couple extra. I may have picked up as I’m leaving the stores that I patron. They stole $50 from me. I do not recommend this app.I would use any of the other ones Fetch Frisbee or any of the other others besides this one ReceiptJar is horrible
