Used to be good
Can’t delete items on both iPhone and MAC. Wish I would’ve never updated. Yes, I selected delete crossed off items and even got a warning saying can’t undo it. Well, it never does it so you really can undo it. I hate when there is no explanation to updates too. Just follow blindly…
No tiene la opción de retroceder
Buen aplicativo lo usamos siempre pero no tiene la opción de retroceder porque muchas veces tachamos algo de la lista por error y no sabemos cómo encontrarlo
iOS Lock screen widget removed
No use for this app with the removal of the lock screen widget. Used to be my go to for glancing at my shopping list but now, with that feature gone, it serves no useful purpose. May as well use my notepad

Hands down the best list app out there. The ability to sync with your spouse, and how easy it is to have repeatable list is unmatched! Plus it sync with your computer as well. Get it to make your life easier with less things forgotten. I use it for packing lists, moving lists, groceries, vacations, everything!
Alexa gone..
This app is pretty well worthless if I can’t integrate it with Alexa
Near Perfect
I wish the ingredients database was user-editable, or more ingredients would be added to the database. For example—species of sugars, besides granulated and powdered. Flours (unbleached, AP, 00, etc.).

This app has a major glitch!
I share a grocery list with another member of the family. We put a long list into his phone. Then hours later, when I went to look at the list on my phone, it had not yet crossed over.. So we opened his list up again, so I could transcribe it into my phone and his list flickered and disappeared. All that work for nothing!
Great app for couples
My wife and I are able to add to the list throughout the day and whoever makes it to the store first gets to use the list. LOL. It’s very handy and I love being able to transfer recipes seamlessly from the Internet to the recipes on the app.
Don't like the new update
When you cross off an item it dissappears. I dislike this feature.
Dislike new interface
Have loved using AnyList for several years but the new interface makes everything more difficult.
Get this app
This app just keeps getting better and better. Love the scaling of recipes, takes out all the guesswork and customer service is fantastic.
Too complicated to share
Making a shared list with someone is too complicated. You can access some of my contacts but not all, I can’t change that setting, I can’t access a contact who I have shared lists with multiple times? Absolutely ridiculous. Sort your app to add friends or something, until that I’m deleting. Useless app.
Very Useful App
I like this app very much and I use it for all types of lists. Most lists are alphabetical but I have a couple that are manually sorted. The issue is that the manual sorting often doesn't stick. I have one list in particular that I know by heart and use often, but I like the process of ticking items off. Everytime I go into the list there are a couple or sometimes quite a few items that have been moved randomly to other places in the list. I am always having to drag them back into place. This has been going on for a long time.
Needs a “delay purchase”
Good app overall with many great features. The fact that there is no way to “delay” an item is a frustration and negatively impacts the user experience. Lately we’re struggling with inadvertently ticking things off. Likely going back to Grocery Gadget.
Good App , could be great!
Been using with family plan for a few years. Multiple list support, recipes and meal planner calendar are all great features. My main gripe is still no support for UK stores and using voice assistants is not a good experience.
My favorite
This app is so rad! It has so many features. You can modify it to make it exactly how you want it. I love the double click to cross off and item. It’s honestly incredible.
Incompatibility Problem
Not blaming AnyList but it has become useless in my house which is totally Alexa ecosystem and on my devices which are all Apple. My number one reason for having it was for the ease of asking out loud for items to be added to a list, for sharing with my household and for actual shopping in a store with visible access from my phone or smart watch. Hate to rate it this low but it is useless.

Can we please know which item was added or taken off the list in the notifications? Especially in a group List

Enkel och bra men jag skulle inte vilja att varorna hoppar bort så fort jag nuddar dem. De skulle ligga kvar längs ned i lista under en rubrik - avmarkerade under senaste timmen i kronologisk ordning med en avvikande färg så jag ser vad jag handlat och om jag råkat bocka något av misstag. Man borde kunna välja sina favoritkvantiteter under inställningar. Att inte dl går att hitta är sjukt dåligt när man har metric valt under inställningar, i stället cup och oz. Konverteringstsbeller mellan volym och vikt är ju säkert omöjligt att få perfekt, men de vanligaste ingredientserna borde vara ett möjligt stöd. Då jag föredrar att väga. Mallar för utskrifter av ex recepten vore önskvärt. Enklare att laminera än att använda telefonen när man lagar mat (hygieniskt). Det borde finnas pdf-alternativ i A5 eller A4 med olike valmöjligheter som kvantitets converteringstabell som för 1 portion, 2 portioner, 4 portioner mm.
Deletes too easily
We have used this apps for a few years and it was great as you had to swipe to Delete an item but now you only have to touch the item and it deletes immediately. This is very frustrating as things often disappears off your list accidentally when you’re shopping without you realising which is very frustrating.
Lifesaver
I’ve had AnyList for several years now and it has saved me a lot of time. I have separate lists for grocery stores and packing lists. I also use it for meal planning. The email/text function is great because I send various family members the lists and they follow them.
So sad
Brilliant App but such a chore to open it. No icon for homepage and have to start a lengthy process from original email to access it
Metric conversion
Love your Any List app but would love it even more if you could add metric conversions for the rest of the world. Sincerely, not American
Good app no watch support
I like the app, upgrade is expensive but because no watch support I don't upgrade.
Removed free features to drive you to pay
It’s a well made and functional app that does its job well. But as far as I can tell they’ve removed the free ability to import a recipe from anywhere online, and made it a paid functionality only. One day I’m importing recipes, and the next I’m unable to do so without upgrading to a paid version. I’ve had a look around to see if this free feature was limited to a certain number of recipes or something but I can’t find any documentation of that at all. Not a great practice to start charging for previously free features in my opinion.
AnyList is remarkable!
My husband does most of the grocery shopping and we both love this app. We have lists specific to our favorite local stores, and even one for our Farmers Market. Add any item to the list, then check it off when it goes into your cart at the store. It’s incredible!

The app is nice for shopping list but there are a few things that could definitely improved 1 recipe sharing 2 better categorisation prediction 3 web scraping alternative for recipe import when it fails 4 a connected list system to keep track of cupboard/fridge content Still one of the most useful app on my phone

Not standards compliant
I want to love this app so bad. The descriptions on the site sound excellent, but I’m already blocked at the very first step because it seems to block the iOS standard password filling mechanism. Which is weird because it has a 1password logo right in the password field on the create account page, but clicking it opens a weird sharing pop up with strange app suggestions like Canva, Keep and Basecamp. Even the keyboard doesn’t give me access to my LastPass vault like it does for apps that don’t even natively support password managers, so this app is going out of its way to prevent my chosen password manager from being able to be used. I’m going to have to manually create an entry for this app, generate a password, then come back and paste it in. Because I’m so determined to like this app, I’ll come back and review it again if I get past this first hurdle and actually play with it as intended, which is why this is a 3-star not a 1-star, because I can’t give a 1-star for an app that I haven’t even been able to take for a spin yet

Love this app but
I’ve been using this app for a few years now and purchased the subscription to use the meal plan section- which was never a regret. I make my meal plan and then create my grocery list- fab! Recently there was an update which really changed the way the notes work in the meal plan area and I really struggle with accepting the change. It used to be so fast and easy to add my meal idea as a note now I have to create it and then click + to add it to my day. And it isn’t smooth. I’d love if you’d change it back. It would also be really neat if users could chose a default note icon to the notes but that doesn’t affect how the app works, just an “I wish” item. Other than the notes change this app to me is amazing and I will continue to pay my subscription. Thanks Any list.
Easy to use but lacking
Great easy to use app. Sadly you can’t change the language so you are stuck with English only. Adding more languages would have made the app perfect
Best App Ever!
My friend told me about this app and at first I was reluctant to give up my paper list. Now I use it for EVERYTHING! I have my Florida packing list on here. I have my Costco list, my Aldi list, my Walmart list, my annual perennial list and so much more! I love that I can share the grocery list with my husband, so if he’s getting groceries, he can use the list and cross off the items on his phone. I got both my kids hooked on this list and tell everyone about it. Love it!

New meal plan features too complicated
I have been using AnyList for some years and have found the team excellent in response to questions and problems. That said, the changes to meal planning make what was a simple exercise too complex. Adding a recipe or a note was a couple of clicks, now it’s more of a time consuming exercise!
Unusually slow at start
I haven't experienced any other app being as slow as this one at start. Otherwise? It's fine.

Not happy!
Straight to the point ‘I’m not happy with the fact that i have to purchase a subscription to enable me to share my shopping list with my partner’. We are the only two living in our household. Why pay that amount?? Why should we have to pay?? All apps like this one defeats the purpose of the fact that we can share our list/notes by syncing…ergo, we have to pay!
Subscription?
I’m pretty sure that when I first downloaded AnyList some years ago that I purchased the Pro version as a one-off payment. When did it become a subscription? I love the app but I do object to subscriptions so I am surprised that I missed that info at the time.
