LSJ review
You can teach an old dog new tricks. Never thought I’d survive without the print edition but now we love the e- newspaper.
Not working
Still not working! Again still not working!
Good but . . .
Good local coverage but too much Gannett reporting that is duplicated in many other of their papers.
LSJ delivery
This site has no customer service component so that a delivery issue can be addressed and resolved.
LSJ
LSJ
Not quite newsprint, but…
All the news of the day (before ;), in a familiar and friendly format.
Horrible
This app charged me for the subscription then says that I have to subscribe to access the content. I am using the same login. It really sucks being charged $70 for access and not being able to use it.
Lansing State Journal
Since they updated the eNewspaper app, it has less glitches. Still enjoy the old school print version best. Also appreciate the local section
Contact
No link to delivery hold.
Enewspaper
It keeps opening to weird things instead of the front page. I just want to read the print version on my iPad. 😣
Content
Need better content. Particularly relates to state, and local government news and politics.
Useless without service
Unless you are purchasing the monthly/ annual prescription plans this app is completely useless
Long time subscriber
Changing to digital from print was a big change for me. I have learned to appreciate having the newspaper on my tablet. It is convenient when I need to read back issues. Another positive is making the print larger!
Words all jumbled
Getting very frustrated clicking on article only to have the letters in gibberish. This has happened constantly lately. Or you click on a story and another one or ad is on top of it - again unreadable. For a while before e-newspaper even showed up a USA subscription ad would appear that would not go away. Would have to delete the app, log in again, go through all the set up. This was happening about twice a week.
Log in issues
Buggy app keeps forgetting my login all the time. Sometimes login screen won’t load. No easy way to contact someone for support.
LSJ - Thank You!
The LSJ provides good articles and fair-minded news reporting. Keep up the good work!
Flashing adds
The flashing adds make it difficult to read articles. Can’t take it anymore. Canceling my subscription.
LSJ
I must support local journalism. It is critical to our society. I’ve been reading the LSJ for decades. The app makes it easy to read and affordable. Sign up folks!
E newspaper often has problems loading
I’ve had to revert to using a browser rather than the app to read the enewspaper
Comics
I’ve subscribed to and read LSJ every day since I moved to the greater Lansing area in June 1974 (nearly 51 years!), so I’ve been through a few changes with the paper. I’ve gone from paying $.50/week to a carrier, to automatically paying for a year in advance. No problems! However, the brand new LSJ app will not let me rotate individual comics in order to read them one full comic at a time. (The old app allowed this rotation seamlessly.) PLEASE fix this bug in the new app! Not everyone, regardless of age, has 20/20 vision. Thank you! Debbie Warnaar
Accessibility
Long time subscriber here but suddenly can’t open the eNewspaper. Trying to link to the “already a subscriber” does nothing. This format has been very unstable and I didn’t appreciate having pop up notices take over the screen while trying to read an article. I want to support the local paper but had to give up on delivery and now it looks like I’ll have to give up on the digital version as well.
E paper
E paper is not easy to manipulate.
stop fiddlin around
please return to old way.
spam email organization
LSJ will automatically sign you up for all of these newsletters, etc. even though you don’t ask for it. You can ask them many times to remove you in the app and via email and they will never remove you. I highly recommend you avoid this company
Ad blocking content
Paid subscription and yet the app blocks content for timed ads. the LSJ is not worth the cost of the subscription
Great info!
LSJ rocks!
Indoctrination of mid MI
Socialism opinions
Poor tech
The enewspaper is of low reliability because it freezes every time it is being used. This doesn’t happen when using my other apps so I. believe this is a Journal problem please fix this

Terrible “upgrade”
Since being forced into this new app, the eNewspaper feature just spins and doesn’t load. Plan on canceling my subscription since I can’t even read the paper I am paying for.
Not a fan
Stop the pop up ads and bring back the old format. Not paying to read ads.
Fantastic Sports and news coverage
I graduated from MSU and grew up in the surrounding area. I now live out of state. The digital LSJ allows me to keep up with what is happening. They have great writers and coverage of the greater Lansing area.
E Newspapers do not load
Forced to download new app - lost ability to see e newspapers.
Lsj
Horrific app. I work for gannett and can’t read/view subscriber only stories.
