Very helpful
I did use this app plus Perplexity to study for the test. The App provides exact reference to the study material for every question. I’ve passed the actual exam in 30 min at 100% after approximately 2 weeks of studying every other evening.
Gotcha! Pay later scheme
Didn’t love how the creators made this a free app and then charged part way through the use of the app. Navigation between questions wasn’t possible. An the sources or references for the answer weren’t there. Not a great $5 spent on this.

I studied with this app, and it’s a must, it’s exactly what you need for your PSTAR. It’s true that they don’t give explanations but PSTAR is mainly memorizing, so if you memorize each section and you go through the final exam couples of times with 100%, you won’t have problem. Do you have an app for the PPAER ?

Nice interface No explanations on why an answer is correct. You only get 3 sections free, everything else (include the practice exam) requires 6.99 payment. You can get the questions for free on Transport Canada’s website.
Good preparation
Just a bit out of date with the answer to alcohol consumption (now 12 h from bottle to throttle instead of 8 h), otherwise really good.

Just got introduced to the app. Enjoyed checking out a few of the sections at the top. Then, suddenly, every section appears to require: 1) a fresh sign-in to my iPhone account; I got suspicious, and cancelled out of that popup. Then the “true” purpose of that “sign-in” was revealed: 2) a payment of $6.99 is demanded; I cancelled out of that popup. Tried a few other sections. Same story. Seems steep (to me) to pay $6.99 for each section. Unhappy. 🥴 I liked the way one is able (in the first 3 sections) to see the correct answer. Also enjoyed the “change-up” in questions listed in different order, etc., when redoing a section. Cudda, Wudda, Shudda been an excellent tool. 😢
Instructor perspective
I highly recommend this app to my students as it’s a great user friendly way to prepare for the ROCA and PSTAR bridging the gap between the study guide and route learning convenience On average I find students ready to go after about 3-7 days from downloading the app and doing a little here and there throughout their day And everyone who gets the app uses it, vs those who don’t I find are hit or miss if they even continue

Selling what is free
I used this app to prepare for ROC-A and I paid 6.99 only to find out that for 6.99 you get the same .pdf study guide you can download from Industry Canada website for free. This is in my opinion nothing other than a fraud!

App is free, but pay the $6 to unlock all the categories. Do it it’s worth it.
Missing question
I went to write my pstar today after doing all the questions on this app about 20 times and I got 44/50 because one of the questions on the test was not included in this app. Ok app to use but definitely check transport Canada’s website.

Only used this app too study it’s all memorize stuff just remember all questions and answers and you’ll do fine it’s word for word can’t fail with the app if you remember everything 10/10 would buy again
