Let me tell you …
It has amazing channels on it and I do it so much. My first favorite is my mum your dad it’s just terrific. There is a lot of different channels that I love as well but I probably couldn’t tell you them all. The next thing I want to point out is genres I think it is an amazing idea and I don’t think anybody has come up with that before I loved all the kids stuff for my kids and the adult stuff for me also adore the name of it. STV Player is great and also the sponsor McDonald’s is my favorite Food place. Thank you and goodbye
Can’t watch on tv, but could before
Can watch on phone fine, but the tv app won’t load.
App issues
Keeps freezing and then won’t resume.
Doesn’t work all the time
Sadly this has then tendency of freezing. I’ve just tried five times to use it but it freezes at the end of the adverts every time 😤

Ads during rugby
Putting ads in the middle of a game is shocking. Can’t enjoy anything without something being sold to you. Digital adds on the pitch are so distracting and look terrible, why can’t they just paint it on the pitch like they used to?
Poor player
Love what’s on the player but it keeps crashing or I lose the sound on it and on my TV programmes
Loving new layout but…..
New layout is better cleaner but since update been a lot of problems. Delay in responses and being stuck within a program when opening
Passwords
Can get STV player on phone but not TV. Why ? I’ve since found a way to get STV Player on my TV by using the QR code etc
Ad free version doesn’t work
Despite paying for the ad free version, it still doesn’t work. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Signing out and signing in. Contacted STV customer care team and and they couldn’t help. Really poor service and disappointing that their tech team couldn’t help. They wouldn’t issue a refund either as the subscription was paid through Apple. No other streaming service has issues like this for their upgraded membership. Extremely poor STV.
STV player
Have had lots of problems with the app. It doesn’t function correctly. And why can’t all my devices - iPad and two tvs co-ordinate. They never show the last episode of anything and all show different things. Please improve it.
Fix registration form
Need to fix registration form. Personal details page (2) doesn't work properly on small mobile screens, e.g. iPhone SE. Next button is stuck below and you cannot scroll the page up enough to stabilize the Next button, it is always unscrolls back and gets hidden, the screen is too small.

Chrome cast no longer works when casting from iPhone to tv. Please can you update app or tell me why this no longer functions. Thanks
Excellent app and rock solid during the World Cup!
App was absolutely great during the World Cup even with me bouncing in and out of matches when not watching a full match. Got in straight away and stream quality was solid and just as good as TV. Loads of content and easy to find something you like!
Useless
This app is horrendous, buffers constantly. BBC iPlayer is far superior in stability and picture quality, I don’t know how they can get this so wrong!! Trying to watch the world cup has been a chore, massive parts of the games missed while it buffers. The app needs fixed, but knowing that network, bet it has never been quality checked, like the news reporting.
Brilliant programmes
I love STV Player. I’ve really enjoyed finding shows I watched years ago like Brookside and Wild at Heart. And new ones too. Really enjoying Coroner which I’d not heard of before. Works fine on my phone and TV. Also get it through Sky. It has ads, but worth a few ads to watch stuff for free. Would recommend.
Buffers with perfect connection
Pathetic excuse for a streaming service if watching on a mobile/laptop, gutting not to be able to watch the World Cup on the move unless BBC is showing it (a service that actually works). Not fit for purpose.

Sync issues
STV Player needs improvement with video and audio synchronisation. During World Cup matches, the sound and picture are sometimes out of sync, which makes the matches difficult to watch.

Jerky pictures?
The player app seems to be very jerky (sound and vision) then go very quickly as if to catch up with the live feed. None of my other TV apps have this issue. So while the app is great it has some issues….
