What they complain about

- Too many annoying ads interrupt you
- Notifications are messy and hard to control
WYFF News 4 rocks!!!!!!!
I enjoyed the WYFF News 4 app and it was awesome!
Hate the ads
Difficult to navigate. Same stories stay on site for days with no update. Will probably delete this app. Too many ads. The same ad before any video just like the Weather Channel. I pay to watch The Weather channel without ads. WYFF isn’t worth paying to watch even if that was an option.
Maya
Please get Maya off the weekend anchor desk. She cannot pronounce words correctly at all. It is a very poor representation of what is otherwise a great news team. She does fairly good as a field reporter (although can get a bit “over the top” on that. But after all the time she has done weekend anchor work, there has been NO improvement in her pronunciation. Maybe a little coaching or pre-reading the stories before going on the air would be in order????
News 4
Very efficient with delivering news and breaking news.
Coverage
I don’t think news coverage is enough for Pickens and Oconee counties. We very seldom see news that is relevant to us. We get better coverage from Malarkey News on Facebook. Sorry but it’s true. I mostly only watch News 4 for the weather. The weather coverage is awesome.

Getting around
It’s very hard to get around
To many advertisements
Advertise after the news and up dates . Not before !
Frustrating Navigation
You see a headline that really grabs your interest, but don’t get your hopes up that you may actually access the story. After watching a couple of long ads, you will probably see an actual newscast that occurred several days ago that doesn’t even mention the headline you are there for. Look long enough and you may find the story but not before wading through several more ads.
Multiple notices
Generally ok but in the evening I get multiple notices on the same story. Very annoying.
News
I love this News Station, I turn to Channel 4 to bring me accurate News.
Audio is annoying
I don't like the way you click on a story to read it and audio comes on.
Customizable alerts??? Riiight….
This app alerts you for every single “news” story they cover. Fluff pieces are not breaking news. I have so many of the alerts un-checked (politics, sports, etc.), but I get them anyways. I love the news station, but the app is trash.
Crash superstar
Crashes all the time. Updated to current version still extremely unreliable.
WYFF news
I appreciate receiving the updates
Keeps crashing
This app continues to crash, I can’t even scroll down to pick a story to read without it bouncing all over the place. Can’t read a thing. Please fix it.
iPhone 14
Live now broadcast function does not work on iPhone 14 with latest updates.
Pops back
App keeps closing out of stories. Very annoying!
25drivein Theater
Weather forecast is our first opportunity for the safety of our guests…. Wonderful anchors
Worst App
Too many adds
Weather reports
Live Local Breaking New. Not local for 75% of what’s reported
🎉
WYFF 4 my favorite, the best…
Gimmicky
App shows you vague headlines to get you to click into the app where you are bombarded with ads. The videos play without asking and the volume is always on, even if your phone is on silent. Overall just not built well.
Too Much Upstate and Stale News
This app really overuses the term “Upstate” in its news articles. Why don’t you just give a city or county location so the reader can determine if the news affects them or is close to them. And why do so many articles remain on the site for days with no updates.
News
A-1 good reports.
bad app
really have two main qualms: articles are difficult to read because of the incessant advertisements; there are multiple unskippable video ads that play as you try to read anything. that, and you cant control what notifications you get, so you’re just bombarded with every story or nothing.
Find another app
If you like to watch a 35 second ad to see a 9 second weather update. Then this app is for you
Keeps me updated!
Current news as it happens. Completely informative with news and weather. Definitely my go to station!
Crashes frequently
Whenever I tap on a story, weather, etc. the app crashes. This began happening after the “update to fix bugs”. No news is posted over the weekend. It’s as if the news took the weekend off.
Glitch
There is a glitch in the app. After you click on a news article, the popups will cause it to close and go back to main page.
The team
Everyone on the team has a great spirit. And the equipment that they use is so accurate. And Chris Justice is a carbon copy of John S.
App isn’t working well
It’s a shame because I enjoy the local content, but the glitches now make it nearly impossible to use.
App is frustrating
The app constantly resets while I am in the middle of trying to read stories. Sometimes I can’t find them again. Very frustrating.
News Coverage
Your station and employees do an amazing job on reporting the news and weather. Thank You!!! R.J. Brouillette.
Fix the constant refreshing!
The app is unusable. You can’t read anything without the app refreshing back to the top of the home page every 30 seconds.
Can’t use as just a severe weather app
I downloaded the app in my basement during a tornado warning after midnight, and turned off all the notifications except for weather alerts. Didn’t get added info for my location, but later, when we finally got upstairs to sleep, the app woke me several times with random news alerts, none weather related. In the morning I made sure the non-weather alerts were turned off, but still got alerts even after restarting my phone. Alerts like random national business news. So I deleted it. WYFF TV and streaming has the best weather info in the area, but the app is terrible for that purpose.
