Can’t turn it off!
I had to turnoff my iPhone to get rid of this. Once it was up there was no way to get out of it.
Need to be accessible to the blind
Would you please consider making your app accessible to the blind population? It would be greatly appreciated so that others can enjoy your games too. I am a long-term care patient who is working with speech therapists, and am unable to practice independently when I am on my own, which is frustrating and delaying my progress.
How do I exit out of this app!!?
I love this game and app but it never ever lets me exit it is just frozen every time. Is there a trick? It’s only this app ! Please let me know !
Not enough
It’s a great game, but if you get games for fun or to pass time you hope to play them more than once. Myself, being a ‘wordie’, flew through all of the possible unlocks without purchase, in a couple of hours. Would be fantastic to be able to unlock more before having to buy the rest of the levels. Overall it’s fun and not really challenging but enough to keep it fun.
Multiple correct answers!!!!
This game is not really fair, the puzzles have multiple answers that can be correct, it’s so easy to pick a good answer that’s wrong!!!! Please stop putting multiple possible answers in the same puzzle!
Not really free
You can go so far in this game and them BAM......it starts to cost you. Indy...deleted it
No sound control
Edited 3/11/19 the creator responded to let me know the sound bug has been fixed. I played the game for a few minutes and my podcast continued uninterrupted. I have amended my review from 3 stars to 4 stars. I haven’t even gotten very far in playing this game because I am annoyed from the outset. I hate game sounds. I like to listen to podcasts or music, or even just not have sound, while I play games. As soon as I started this game, and its sequel, my podcast stopped. I went straight to the options and clicked on the sound option to turn the sound off. I am not sure what sound (music maybe) it turned off because every click makes a sound, every time you make a connection there’s a sound, and every transition makes a sound. Sounds add nothing to games for me and I shouldn’t have to mute my phone when I play a game.
Voiceover support for the blind
Hi I cannot see how everyone else does! Will you please make your games accessible for the blind? I reside in long term care and I am working with the speech therapy department on this game and I cannot do this independently! Accessibility is important to me! I am willing to help recruit beta testers for you!
Some Potential as a Children's Learning Tool
Much too easy for adults, even at its most difficult. 1 star each for innovative concept, fluid game play, and a good way to introduce children to word association. Deleted.
I just...
...got this game. It looked appealing. It was and is! I’m afraid that if I chose my next word too quickly, I’ll lose points somehow...The words just flow together. I noticed a few phrases from the 1970’s and it was delightful. I fidget while waiting for the next word to appear. This is just pure fun. I do not want to stop. I paid my dues and will continue from the first set! Thank you! I’ve downloaded? Uploaded a few more of your games just to take a bite....relaxing and fun...oh, I really like when the ACHIEVEMENTS wiggle to let me know I have a new one....it’s “anticipation....is having its way.....”😀😀😀😀😀😀🙋🏻♀️🚀🚀🚀
Enough already with the “new game” pop ups
After having the game shown to me and recommended I was really looking forward to it. It looked like just the type of game for my right brain. That is until I felt bombarded by the pop ups announcing yet another new game. It felt as if every time I did something in the game there was another and another. That level of aggressiveness in self-promotion definitely does not win me over. I would urge the Developer to look at less disruptive and annoying methods to promote their Apps. For me this caused a knee jerk reaction for now -> Delete.
Completely Addicted!
This game is my favorite choice ever! I can’t give it 5 stars because of some of the word combs - they just don’t go together for me. But I play every day and have played almost all the levels. Are you planning to add more? Please say you will!

Most of the compound words were too easy. Others were obscure pop culture references that are decades old. Not a fan. Uninstalled.

Update: Eat...fresh...prince...ton...of bricks Really? "Prince...ton"? Princeton is a town or university! It's not even a compound word! It's definitely not a phrase. Who comes up with this CR💩P? There are millions of common phrases out there. If you can't do better, hire me, FCOL. 🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥🚥 I really liked this game; so much, in fact, that I bought the entire extras. But there are some things that make me question the intelligence of the developer. They use words that aren't spelled the same, and cut up words that aren't word combos. For instance, I just played a game that included the words "ant" and "arctic". Apparently, the word "ant" was to precede the word "arctic". Problem with that is the two words aren't a word combo, such as the words "green" and "light" would be. So, what's next, devs? "Car" and "pet"? "Win" and "dough"? In another game, the word "fee" was supposed to precede "fi-fo-fum". However, the word "fee" was supposed to be spelled "fi". There are many more examples just like this. I realize it's trivial, but COME! ON! There are so many words to choose from! Do your in-app purchasers a favor and give them...us...what we paid for. Pull out a dictionary. It's not difficult.

Fun game but iap's are not disclosed
A word association game that makes for a good time waster. Most puzzles are fairly easy and then a few (but not many) will surprise you. There's plenty of hints earned in each round. Controls are easy. Just tap your answers. Unfortunately, I did not give it a full 5 stars because this is actually not a free game. I believe strongly that developers should get paid for their work. But.... I also believe that consumers should know what they are getting. You can play some levels, but then the game offers you to pay for other ones. Normally, I think this is great. But... in the description, nothing states that there are in-app purchases. I've noticed that other games by the same developer actually have this statement. I have made in app purchase in some of this dev's other games. Don't get me wrong.... the games are good. But it's not actually free if you have to pay to play or suffer through nag screens. My suggestion would be to disclose that there are Iap's and offer some harder puzzles in the sample ones.
Multiple correct answers
I like the concept, but some of the "incorrect" words are correct on the same degree or better than the "correct" answer is.
Couple of bugs
It's a fun game but many times has opened defaulting the first move as an error before I have a chance to choose.

Does not work any more
This was a great game, but now if I touch play, it just turns OFF. It does not ask you to upgrade, it just shuts down. Ipad is up to date.

FALSE ADVERTISING
The game is great but stop calling this app free when only 2 levels are free and anything more requires in app purchase. Either charge for the app or make it really free. This is a bait and switch! Also very limited levels even if you purchase all of them.
Unable to play online
I love this game however I am unable to play online. Every time I start a game with someone, the app shuts down. Please fix this.

Just downloaded and can't get into game at all.
Good but
I like the game. Can't always agree with the chain but. Just bummed cause I ran out of free games after a week. I will be deleting it. There are too many free games out there.
Great idea, few puzzles
Had fun with this until I found myself getting the same word sets after playing just a few times. Need a lot more content to be worth keeping.
No more games
I finished 2 levels and the rest say null. What the. ??
Good game
I enjoy the game but it keeps deleting achievements after I reach them. I go into 🏆 section and see I've accomplished them....then when I complete another and go back to view new achievement and prior achievements are wiped out. Frustrating!

Thoroughly Entertaining
I just got this app yesterday and haven't been able to put it down. It's a whole lot of fun to play and not overly taxing on your brain. Everyone needs time to sit back, relax, and play and you can do that with this game.
Some positives, but lots of negatives
I love the game, and would even be willing to pay for it.....but when it doesn't work correctly, I won't pay. Can't pay online...it just crashes every time after playing the complete round in a challenge!! And even forfeiting the game won't clear it. Fix these issues, and I will be back with a new review.
very interesting!
I'm enjoying it a lot! the game is quite fun and relaxing. the only thing that it's a bit annoying is the wrong answer warning, that is sooo long that it get's frustrating. you just want to tap the correct answer, but have to wait for about 3 seconds, until the 'storm' is over. it sounds like nothing, but when you're concentrated on the game it seems it takes forever.
Good stuff.

Fun game, my only problem with it is, if you get an answer wrong, it takes to long to try and guess again, that's slightly irritating.
Bugs
Was fun but couldn't play very far through it because there were bugs that made the options overlap, so when you clicked on the right answer it was taking it as the option over top of it and I had to exit game.
I would age rate this higher
The age rating of 9+ due to some content is probably not high enough if you are not comfortable with children associating the words sex and drive together as a connection. As a coworker of mine discovered the other day. We had to remove the game from the classroom iPad as a result. Which was extremely disappointing because the concept of the game is awesome.
The games from this company rock!
I LOVE this game! I've also purchased other games by the same developers, and all of them are among my favorites. As an English prof, I am in love with language, and these games are intriguing, fascinating, and tons of fun. I don't agree that they're too easy for adults. I have a PhD in English, and I still miss some of the associations. You can always challenge yourself to solve the puzzles faster, after all. Yes, please keep developing more levels, and keep doing what you do SO well. We need more work with language in a culture becoming increasingly illiterate.
