It does not always show exactly how much you have in account and causes you to overdraft account, hardly ever shows pending deposits

Usually this app is great but now I can’t deposit a check. The capture screen is dark and won’t show the check. Needs to be fixed.
Stellar credit union, outdated app.
I love OCCU. What an incredible member owned financial institution, best banking resource ever, flat out! The app is a little outdated and clunky compared to say SELCO’s app. I wholeheartedly recommend OCCU, I guarantee it will be your best banking experience ever. The people who work there are friendly, helpful, informative, and you really get a sense that they are working to help you, not extract profits from you.

IT SURE WOULD BE NICE IF MY BANKING APP WORKED
Half the time I can't make transfers, clicking on the option that lets me pick which account doesn't work. Uninstalled and reinstalled and now I can't even log in, the verification checkmark box just turns momentarily grey and then does nothing. AWESOME!
Transfer Glitchy
I love that I have an app to handle my banking needs. When transferring money within my accounts often the balances are delayed and I experience glitches when attempting to transfer often.

Needs Work
First of all, the 5 star raters here don’t understand how the star system works. You’re reviewing the app and not the service or services you receive from the bank. Second, and most importantly, this app is not a good bank app at all. Some of the functionality works on this app, this app, whether on or off WiFi, is slow or the functions do not work at all. This app has somehow gotten worse. Can you PLEASE fix this app? Don’t you have a team that tests this app in multiple environments?
2fa won’t work for reset pw
Every time I try to reset my pw I hit a system error when submitting 2fa text response code. Very annoying calling didn’t work either. This time but in the past they sent a text with a temp pw.
Check deposits don’t work
As a mobile banking app, this is fine, except for the fact that it has a bug which doesn’t allow it to use your camera to take pictures to deposit checks. A mobile banking app should display my account information, and allow me to make deposits without going to the bank or ATM. Pretty simple stuff.
Sub part transfers
I can only transfer from Outside checking to Occu savings. I can’t just transfer the payment directly from the outside checking.
OCCU app
My only complaint about this app is that you have to sign in and verify every time you switch from business to personal accounts
Garbage App
This app is total garbage. It kicks me out of my account several times a week and won’t let me back in unless I delete the app and reload it. What’s the point in having an app if it waste your time instead of saves it?
Great, even better if it handled multiple logins better
The app is very useful for banking with OCCU. Because we have a personal and business account with the bank, it would be nice if biometric log-in could apply to both accounts rather than just one to facilitate switching between accounts.

There was a large update to the app several months ago and it has not functioned properly since. Incredible lag, I’m waiting 3-5 minutes any time I want to look at my account overview. I’ve updated the app, deleted and redownloaded.

Each freaking time I click on my app after I downloaded it over 3 months ago now, it loads for about 3 minutes then says system is not available try again later so I try again multiple times weekly and it still doesn’t work? Nah I’m deleting and also I have a bank account set up with OCCU so…

We have a vehicle loan through OCCU and I am still floored at how well the customer service is and every time I have called with a question I have left with more information and understanding. Thank you

WORST BANK AND APP EVER
This thing takes 1-3 business days just to update my account spending. Then, since I am not actually sure how much is in my account, it charges me an overdraft fee every single time. I’m so tired of this and I’m truly about to switch banks just because of this issue. Finally had to call the bank support line to ask them to turn off the “overdraft protection” and the lady on the line tried to GASLIGHT ME into keeping it on (it was charging me almost $10 every time), even though I told her I had ended up spending over $100 in “overdraft protection”fees every month. Switching banks ASAP bc I can’t do this anymore.

I’ve been a member of OCCU since 1999, and have always been treated well. Low interest and friendly people is why I’ve never left.
Check Deposit Repeatedly Fails
Check the title, latest release is bugged and cannot deposit checks due to an error. “Full screen required” with no ability to correct. It’s been broken for weeks and they have not rolled back the app to a functional version. Insane, I can fix this for you. Fire your developers and hire me because I can actually monitor for issues.

Many thanks, OCCU, for your excellent Customer Service on a consistent basis. Whether I go into the Branch or go through the drive-through, all Representatives are super helpful, professional, and kind.

I don’t know why, but I have had nothing but problems with OCCU. It either comes to taking out double car payments, issues with logging in with correct information, and most egregious of all is wait times on the phone to speak to a customer service representative. I despise OCCU.
