Poor rewards
'After many years playing the game it is becoming very frustrating with not receiving airport cash as rewards. Unless you are prepared to spend actual cash it is very hard to expand the airport or move forward. I am prepared to watch the adverts for the rewards but I am now playing a lot of game time and don’t seem to be getting any further. Not sure how much longer I can continue to play
Do not play
The game is great until you’ve played it as year. Then all you get is repeat events. Absolutely nothing original has been offered for a few years. Support from them is poor
Difficult Progress
This game I played a lot in my childhood but one of the things that made me quit was how hard you have to grind for simple upgrades Progress slows so hard that it takes days for 1 level up and becomes incredibly difficult and time consuming to upgrade terminals and runways. It’s like the game is just begging you to spend some real money. I love the game and it’s good but it’s just frustrating after you unlock the hawk aircraft.
Fed up
After playing this game for years I’m fed up. Loads of glitches, yes they may get fixed eventually but you lose out on bonuses or progression and nothing received by way of compensation anymore. It would seem the developers have become greedy, by having to pay to play the game to a point.

It is a very expensive game to play to when I first started. When life is expensive enough at the moment you can’t complete quests to receive extra fuel to fly your planes.
Best devs
The dev team will respond to any bugs in a few days and the gameplay is also good so far I do not know how to thank the devs.
Adverts have become too disruptive.
Poor recent update with annoying ads all the time?! Just makes me need to restart the game all the time. ANNOYING!

Ich hab das Spiel mal als Kind ausprobiert und jetzt Jahre später wieder aufgegriffen. Für mich steckt dieses Spiel voller Nostalgie aber ich finde, dass der Fortschritt kurz nach dem Anfang viel zu langwierig wird. Es dauert unendlich lange Gebäude zu verbessern. Dann habe ich drüber nachgedacht, etwas Geld zu investieren doch die hohen Preise machen es fast unmöglich. Es lohnt sich gar nicht zum Beispiel zehn Euro zu investieren, weil es eh nur so viele Collins gibt, dass es nicht mal reicht das Terminal zu verbessern wären wenigstens die ingame Käufe lohnenswert, so dass man mit zehn Euro vielleicht vier oder fünf Gebäude verbessern kann und so schnelleren Fortschritt hat, würde es vielleicht mehr Spaß machen. Ich finde es echt traurig und hoffe es wird sich was ändern. Viele Grüße

The game itself is good, linear progression, lots of collections and doesn’t need a huge time sink. I must say that the number of ads for this game has increased, but for each ad there’s a force to store at least twice per ad sometimes, and even though the ad has finished it can reload. If you don’t like ads this is not the game for you.

You have to earn levels to get the aircraft it’s soooooooo boring but once you get to level 80 It’s worth it to have 1 eye open

Liebes Insightgame Team, Ich habe mir das Sparschwein für 9,99 gekauft doch der Kauf ist nicht angekommen. Dann habe ich es nochmal probiert und es hat wieder nicht funktioniert. Am Anfang hatte ich ein Apple Guthaben von 14,02€ und jetzt habe ich 0,00€ obwohl der Kauf nicht funktioniert hat!!! Ich will bitte mein Geld zurück oder wenigstens den Kauf bekommen. BITTE!!!
Poor user experience.
I have been playing Airport City for at least two years, so this definitely is not a snap judgment. The game itself is easy to use and the graphics are really good, which is why I stuck with it for so long. Unfortunately, the competition side of things has completely ruined the experience for me. The competitions just feel unfair. Unless you are willing to spend a lot of real money, it is almost impossible to win. It no longer feels like success comes from strategy or commitment. It feels like it comes down to who is prepared to spend the most. That takes the fun out of it. You can choose to watch adverts to speed up certain tasks instead of paying, but quite often the reward does not show up after you have watched the advert. That is incredibly frustrating and honestly feels misleading. After two years of playing, I have finally reached the point where I am going to delete the game because it has simply become too frustrating. It is disappointing because it has so much potential, but unless you are happy spending hundreds of pounds each month, it feels less like a game and more like a way to get people to keep paying.

Love the game but unfortunately have have had big issues in game play. Tech support never reply with anything other the “we are looking into it” Have had the same issues for well over a year now. I used to pay for upgrades etc, but they’ve not had any money off of me since the issues started! And won’t get a penny more from me either.

Its really fun but you have to grind a lot and then comes the bugs: for me the hawk planes get stuck and i cant land anymore planes so i have to restart my game and i also get the bug where the boarding bridge is stuck in one position.

End of an era due to pure greed.
I have been playing this game for many years and after reaching level 77 and spending hundreds of pounds, it’s time to bring this to an end. Why? The new Halloween event is so unfair, that you have absolutely no chance of finishing it, unless you spend lots of real money to advance through the levels and if you are a beginner, forget it. You have to be at a certain level to buy a specific plane due to the runway it requires but you also need to purchase a furniture building to put beds on this plane and that building takes 6 days to construct, unless you pay more money for a faster build. Also, the previous times they ran this event, you could buy specific building to aid getting additional ghosts, equipment etc but now, all these buildings you spent money on from previous runs of this event, are worthless and hold no value at all. And the top of all this, you put your point across on their official social media page, you get a fair few likes of agreement and what does the admin do? Delete/Hide your comment. I put up the same comment several times and each time, it was deleted/hidden. Then, to top that, the admin then go trolling through everyone’s comments, looking for my replies and deleting them too. They obviously didn’t like me telling the truth about the unfairness this game is now and now, they have kicked me out of the official social media group and locked it to private. You actually kicked out a customer for speaking the truth. Wow, free speech not allowed here either then? Good riddance to bad apps, devs and admins.
Keine Aufträge Allianz, kein IG Support
Seit 2 Wochen gibt es Probleme mit den Allianzaufträgen. Es gibt einfach keine das Problem ist bekannt, wird aber nicht behoben. Seit mehreren Wochen kein Ingame Kontakt zum Support möglich. Netzwerkfehler wird auf allen Geräten angezeigt. Ansonsten ein interessantes Spiel, macht Spaß, aber leider immer wieder kleine Feder im Spiel

Wirklich nettes Spiel doch ab einem gewissen Punk kommt man ohne recht viel Geld zu investieren nicht weiter. Kein Problem bei guten Sache mal hier und da ein paar Euro zu investieren, aber hier wird ganz klar übertrieben. Abo geht bei 10€ im Monat los, Einzelsachen kaufen bringt nur kurz Freude. Sehr schade, aber so lieber wo anders kleine Sachen investieren…

Frustrating ‘game freeze’ problem.
I am having to delete my game from my iPad at least five times a day to play it, after spending my hard earned cash to get started I’m reluctant to cancel the game completely but it is so frustrating. Sometimes, like this morning for example I played for only 4 minutes before it froze. Come on guys, get your act together please.

Hi I love this game and enjoying but I’m leaving now cuz of the code of expansion and upgrading thing. Sometimes it’s annoy cuz you only got 12 or 13 coins from flight and 2 3 coins from shop it’s very difficult to upgrade thing.

Event Disappointments My son was especially disappointed during the Back to School event. It was announced that a specific paint would be handed out, but this didn’t happen. Why do you persist in charging exorbitant prices in these games, £99.9 to get extra ‘money’ is just downright robbery. If you charged reasonable amounts you would increase your fan base substantially. Constant pushing of upgrades for money and ever increasing waits for non paid increments do nothing to help this, all you are doing is annoying gamers who’s level of tolerance to your money grabbing tactics will just push them away from companies like yours to rivals who’s main aim is not money now now now before gameplay
Great game, it glitches quite a lot.
The game is great, a lot of fun, I absolutely do recommend playing it although I keep having to reload it because the planes keep getting stuck on the end of the runway, it’s my only issue otherwise it would have got 5 stars from me.

Fab at first, but then you need real money to progress.
I loved this game at first really entertaining, hardly any adverts to wade through. But as I increased in levels the only way to upgrade things was through the green tickets, which (surprise, surprise) are very rare unless you spend cold hard cash to buy. If you don’t buy then you are forced to wait an excruciatingly long time to achieve anything. I thought this game was going to be great, but it’s just another money grabber.

It’s mainly good I’ve enjoyed playing it except I made my own alliance but then someone in my alliance somehow got the ownership even though I didn’t approve it which made my kinda angry 😡.

I grew up playing this game. I love this game with my life. It’s sort of made me who I am in a way. Like all games it has its issues. I don’t find it boring however it is difficult to level up after one point. I’m not good at grinding games and keeping interested which is a downside for this game. I would recommend this game - who ever made this i wish they have the best life

Eigentlich sehr gutes Spiel
Ich habe dieses Spiel vor kurzem wiederentdeckt und habe sofort reingesuchtet, aber… 1. nervt es mich, dass man für jede Gebäude Verbesserung spezielle Gegenstände braucht, die man überraschenderweise nie hat, sich somit Werbung anschauen muss, die aber auch nur alle 10 minuten angeschaut werden kann, womit es dann mal gut und gerne 1,5 Stunden braucht, bis man alles zusammen hat. 2. wäre es schön, wenn man ein bisschen schneller an Geld kommen könnte. 3. würde ich eine Funktion, die automatisch Gastflugzeuge, die zu hoch für die Landebahnen sind ablehnt. 4. nervt mich extrem, dass seit kurzem bei mir nichts mehr im Hintergrund passiert. Ich verlasse das Spiel, komme 3 Stunden später wieder rein, eigentlich sollten meine Flugzeuge wieder da sein, sie sind aber noch am Anfang der Reise… was soll das? Und das grillt auch für die Gebäude, die sind noch am Anfang vom Countdown, bis man neue Münzen, oder Passagiere bekommt… was soll das? Bis auf diese Kritiken ist das Spiel aber einfach nur super und eine klare Weiterempfehlung!
Verschlechtern durch Update
Mal wieder ein Update ohne Mehrwert. Alle Flugzeuge weg. Toll! Wird denn ein Update vorher nicht getestet? Spiele seit über 3 Jahren. Nun habe ich die Lust verloren.
I like this game
I like this game, but I get frustrated by the fact it takes so long to save money to add in infrastructure or upgrade buildings and after you spend the ridiculous amount to upgrade it’s not instant, there’s still a requirement to collect stuff in order to complete the build, but to collect that stuff some other thing needs to be upgraded that ALSO has the same requirements, it feels like you are constantly chasing your tail and it’s starting to put me off.
