It’s great, but it lags out multiple times in the scrolling pages and it affects my phone after closing the app, there is just a non stop clicking in the bottom left corner
don’t waste your time
Airports will shutdown randomly leaving you with nothing to do. It generally happens at the worst time and often.
Fun but missing Countries.
Hi. Love this game. However I think a few more airports need to be added and island countries need to be added such as in pacific island countries like Suva, Fiji; Port Vila, Vanuatu; Apia, Samoa. As well as Male, Maldives; Victoria, Seychelles; and so on. The other thing is that the world is round so I should be able to fly around the world the other direction. Thank you!
Ads don’t give rewards
I re downloaded the game after more than a decade away and it’s a lot of fun but most of the ads don’t finish loading it just won’t allow you to click close. Either way I don’t get my bux which is kind of a pain when you watch a 2 minute ad.
Horrible update
It’s very annoying the new way to upload the planes if you want to pick individual jobs. We should have the option of choosing from the list as before not grouped in destinations.

Add more planes, add more cities, allow us to upgrade cities to class 1 and 2.
This game is awesome and has a lot of charm but gets really boring and annoying having all these planes being locked to class 3 airports even though irl almost any plane can go to any city even when this game launched it didn’t make any sense. You c v nts had enough time to pump this game full of ads but can’t allow us other simple things? Cmon!
More cities!!!
I absolutely love Pocket Planes and have been playing it on and off for many years now. My only drawback of the game, as a geography and travel fanatic, is the lack of cities in the game. Ideally every country should be represented — (example, there’s little rep for the ‘stan’ countries). Hope to see this change at some point.
Video ads are broken.
Every time asked if want to watch an ad for a reward, don’t bother.. the ad video finishes the ‘reward granted’ icon shows in the top corner.. then you cannot x out.. so stuck looking at the ad and cannot return to the game. Having to force quit the game and actually no reward was given.. please fix! Otherwise great idle game, used to play this when it first came out. Great to see it still going!
Too fun, but slow
Such a great game but i play it constantly and struggle to grow enough wealth. Really slow game. But I love it.

Not good anymore
I used to love this game. Redownloaded it recently and replayed and uninstalled after a few hours. It’s so unfortunate it’s been dragged down with so many ads, little to no progress, etc. Lastly, a few hours into playing and there was a “you must consent to personal data” wall to continue to play. I uninstalled it at this point. It’s a shame folks. Greed.
Update ideas
I have recently come back to this game trying to relive my childhood hood. I’m surprised by how laggy this game is when on airplane mode for a game related to planes. Another thing is I wish I was able to have a preset filter at each city for jobs going to another specific city or two. This would make my LA to Tokyo a lot quicker to fill.
Disappointing now
Use to love the game but with the recent add ons and extra icons all over the screen to play videos etc, it’s really distracted from the core game play. Not fun anymore.
Love this game, couple of hiccups
I think this game is ace but for some reason my "part" section will not let me build planes. I've tried everything to make this work but it doesn't seem to work! Any suggestions??

More class 1 planes + jets
I think there should be more class 1 planes. I would suggest the birchcraft P/C/M be made class 1. I also think there should be at least 1 class 1 jet, the equinox P/C/M should be made class 1. Other than that, it’s a great game.
Update broke the game
Recently with iOS 18 and the updates to the game it is now unplayable on my iPhone 12 Pro lags and glitches for no reason. Devs need to optimize. Also only updates they do are for ads no new content:((((((

Good time killer
Simple to play and you get to know cities in the world!
Used to be good.
I used to love this game, now the devs are taking down the same road as tiny tower. Tiny tower used to have a similar slow, grindy progression that got ruined by all the “events” they added. It’s only a letter of time before this game becomes the same.
VIP status is way too overpriced!

Eh it’s definitely a game
It’s one of those games that has an exciting first week but then becomes weeks of mindless grinding for tiny rewards, I’d just skip this one personally
Ok but could be better
When you level up should be given more airplane slots. Not much point having more airports when it’s such a stupid price to add more planes. Also class 3 airports should be at least 1 in Australia or have bigger class 2 planes.
A mobile game that’s actually good!
This game is great! It feels like a real video game not like those cash grab mobile games. This is actually fun and the concept it great. I would love to see more features added with time. For example bigger planes? Also maintainance. What about random incidents/ events? Emergencies? Scheduled flights would be great too Thanks for a great game!
Airport and plane classes destroy the game
I was having a lot of fun sinking time into this game periodically on my work days. Was super excited to finally get a Class 2 plane only to realize it can’t travel to 90% of the airports in-game. You’re telling me my mediocre sized plane can’t land in Minneapolis with a population of 3.3 million? And if you expected the game to at the very least sort cargo and passengers according to your plane class, you’ll be unpleasantly surprised. You’ll have to tediously scroll and nitpick cargo and pray that you remember correctly if the airport you’re going to is Class 2. Unfathomably stupid design choice that’s making me uninstall the game and be glad I never gave these guys a cent other than through ads.
Outdated needs updating
Great game, has so much potential but is lacking and outdated. We need a refresh. New planes, destinations. Mechanical breakdowns based on airplane usage is a cool concept we got to see in pocket trains. This game is too easy you can go from starting the game to pretty much maxed out in about 2 months then it gets boring. I’d love to keep playing this game but you’re loosing us.

Add more cities and update populations for airport sizes
There’s plenty of small cities on the map like Iqaluit which have less than 100 000 population but the game is missing much larger cities like Halifax which has an international airport in real life. Also, many of the populations are out of date and it would be cool to see some changes to the layout of airports to match the current world populations.

Cross Country Canada Meets Airport Tycoon
For those of you that are Canadian, and remember playing Cross Country Canada in elementary school for social studies, or are/were fans of Airport Tycoon back in the early to mid 2000s, this game will be right up your alley. Essentially, it puts you in control of running an airline, and you get to choose what you load your plane with, be it passengers, or cargo, and where it flies to. The progression starts off a bit slow, but it opens up later on once you get your hands on a bit of currency to open more airports, and additional aircraft. The game is much easier than other "tycoon" like games out there, and is super approachable for newcomers to the genre. It explains how the gameplay mechanics work simply, and doesn't make anything overwhelming. All in all, I'd easily recommend this as I've played it on and off for years, and found it to be enjoyable.

FINALLY AFTER YEARS!
I’ve played pocket planes for years. But I put it down in the last few years due to the lack of updates and it not being optimized for the new phone screens. Finally I log back in and everything is up to date, I can finally get past the bugs that we’re holding my level back for so long and its actually so much fun just like I remember! Great job, great game! It’s a marathon not a race.
Freezing ( don’t delete)
The game was freezing upon starting so I deleted it trying to fix it but I lost all my progress but it did fix the game so up to you to decide.
Fun but stagnant
This game was my favourite of the “pocket” games from this developer. But coming back to the game after years, I realize that very little changed. Here’s what I suggest to spice things up: Add more airports and planes. Let planes cross the pacific ocean. Jobs should scale with the amount of airports you own. Update populations of cities. Let more planes be earnable via leveling. The amount of planes that are only earnable via special events and watching ads makes getting more than one in your fleet unrealistic. Change the app icon back to what it was, even your website shows the old app icon.
Should have left it alone
After 5 years this upgrade adds more advertising nags, breaks the plane list order, looks terrible with poorer graphics that don’t fit properly on the phone, even the swipe down gesture doesn’t always work. You took something that was an ok guilty pleasure time waster game and made it annoying.
Great game but with restricted travel options.
Just rediscovered this game, and what a gem it is to play. Seriously could waste a lot of time on here, which is not a bad thing. The only problem is, the real world is a globe. This is only a flat map, which severely restricts travel especially from Australia, New Zealand and Asia eastwards to the Americas. As the game currently stands, to fly from Sydney to Honolulu, you would have to fly via Africa. Because of this, it loses two stars.
How do I reset the game?
I’ve been looking to reset to choose a new starting location yet I’ve looked in game, and in Game centre yet can’t find anything, please help.

Great update, just a few changes maybe needed
I have had this app for absolute years, and I love the fixes scaling it to the screen better. And the extra colour choices! Very very fun - One thing that I would like back is that the cities that a plane can’t land in would be faded out again, it would make it much easier to chart a course again. - And then when swapping to the full planes menu, your spot would be saved when going in to fill planes again. I can use the arrows on the side to go between them all rather than scrolling, but I like to fill the larger planes first and the new update makes it a touch harder so I haven’t been playing as often. - An additional handy feature would be the ability to sort by class / only see the class that a plane can actually take while filling the planes. I don’t regularly make this mistake, but when I do it’s a touch frustrating. Thanks for all your hard work!
Lost all my progress
This is one of my favourite games and I play all the time. I previously rated it 5 stars. Unfortunately I went to play today to find I've lost 10 airports 2 planes and been put back to level 3 :(

After the new update. I can’t load the game. It freezes every time I open the app. I love the game and I hope it gets fix soon.
Fundamentally unfun.
Like tiny tower, this game has a great, charming pixel style. And building and managing a fleet of planes sounds like a super fun game. Problem is, there's nothing *actually* fun about this game. It does a great job of making you want to come back to keep your planes zooming around with passengers and cargo. It's just that all it amounts to is pressing buttons. There's no fun or strategic thinking involved, and no arcade action. This is a hollow game and a waste of time. Not recommended.
Game freezes on startup
Newest update seems to have broken the game on my iPhone 7, the game freezes as soon as the app is opened.
