What they complain about
- Ads interrupt you constantly
- Game feels unfinished and boring late game
- Offline earnings are way too low
- Late game balance is frustratingly hard
Very fun
Game about production, so far it’s really satisfying.
I’d love to play it, but…
It loads and runs for 3 seconds, then freezes. Maybe the developers can fix it.
Nice but one small issue
So i just started playing and this game is amazing its just the fact that the area to build is so small so you cant really have indivisual contraptions for certain things and the road auto connect so what im trying to say is developers could you please make it so we can deaw the roads instead of having them auto connect
Ads
So many ads!!
No end game
The game is fine but it really feels unfinished. The cracks start to show with gravel pits/glass. Everything late game need incredible amounts of glass and thus incredible amounts of gravel, basically meaning youre doing nothing but boosting glass and power to make more glass for the last half of the game.
Goated free Game! 1 of a kind
After you reach a certain point you should get more and more islands as a reward ❤️ If this was implemented the sky is the ceiling
Bad data design
No banlance between the resources
Amazing!
Very fun game dosnt feel forced with adds and feels real simple and fun
Lack of end game.
Honestly good game but it lacks the end game.
Unfinished and oppressive
I like that ads aren’t forced on you in this game, however they supplement that by making the game incredibly inconvenient for f2p players. I have “finished” the game, there is no end goal or achievement, you just stop unlocking stuff, it feels unfinished. Also after beating the game you’re still too poor to remove all of the obstacles because they just expect you to spend money at some point. The game has a fun design puzzle but gets stale quickly due to the lack of content
Like it
I like it and it reminds me of a game I used to play as a kid. I play it in my past time and I would like to see more things into it in bigger islands, but it is still a really fun game to play.
where are the irons?
only woods and stones
adadadadadad
too many ad
Iron?
Couldn’t find iron. Wood and stone only resources on the islands.
Gets boring after a while
After a while, start keep boring because you have nothing else to do so if you could fix it, I would be very grateful :)
Save
ITS BENN THREE YEARS SINCE I WAS ABLE TO GET MY SAVE DATA AND I FINALLY GOT IT BACK
The worst mandatory ads I’ve ever seen.
Unlocking a new island means there’s 10-20 new mandatory ads you need to watch. It’s 30 seconds video ads with an add 15 seconds advertisement after the initial 30 seconds.
Good game, great potential, Sisyphean sand production
Game is great for the first four-ish solid hours of mostly-active play. The difficulty curve is engaging enough to play actively (with the app on, phone in hand) until you want to turn energy into sand, at which point you get bottlenecked by energy production for your advanced coal and stone production, and get bottlenecked by iron ore production. A little bit of uneven resource production rates is tolerable, as you can simply reconfigure your factory to optimize for the bottleneck (this is why iron ore wasn’t a big problem for the difficulty curve until sand production is unlocked) I’d recommend balance-tweaking *something* around the tier you unlock the sand production building to make it more feasible to reconfigure your way out of the waiting game (forced to wait before I can play the game again)
Almost awesome
Pretty simply but fun game and I’ve definitely enjoyed the experience until the gravel pit. I’m currently using 460k energy and the gravel pit takes up 300k of that. The game loop is simple enough to be fun until you need way more power than using sand will get you
Good, but…
Massively undervalues what you earn offline, receive about 20% of what you should be producing in the time you’re offline
Very nice
It’s a simplistic game. Doesn’t take too long to beat. You can beat it within a week. I’d love to see more upgrades and quests.
At the beginning seem interesting
At the beginning it seems interesting, but after a while (2-3 days) you can see the developers have run out of ideas and just added ridiculous, impossible quotas that would take months to complete (Who want to play a boring game for just watch ads)
Fun game but not for long
The game is a really fun concept but gets annoying to play further into it. When you get to the place where you need to use cables and pipes, it becomes almost impossible to actually keep everything at the right income amount because you can’t put pipes and roads and wires to everything without having 6 squares near it full of everything it needs to even exist. So how do you have roads leading to the resources you can’t move, plus cables to them, plus water etc?
Man. Ads ruin everything
I had been offline for awhile like over 100 days and I come back try to make the most of it with the ad bonus & it RESET?!
Eh, it’s ok
Cost scaling is a bit wonky, and the micro transactions are aggressive and exploitative. That said, pretty enjoyable
Chill fun
Still new to the game but it’s nice and relaxing will slightly less marketing pressure.
p2w carbon copy of a free incremental game
game name: endless expansion
Definitely give it a try
Its free, ads are technically avoidable, not too shabby! Great little timewaster, but kind takes a really long time after a while you'll only need to open it once a month because you can spend all your resources in a few minutes and need to build them up again. The one ad you'll want to watch is the one that pops up when you log in to get double resources (although I've noticed it gives a second ad lately for a second round of resources)
Ads
It’s a lot of ads. They’re “not forced” as some people point out, but you’ll start getting junk on your island that you can’t clear out unless you spend gold or watch several ads in a row (like 3 back to back to clear 1 pile) Otherwise it seems fun to play, I would have liked to stick with it further. I would give it five stars if there was a reasonably priced in app purchase to remove ads
It’s ok.
The massive increase in road costs makes island 6&7 near impossible to afford. It might promote longer play time. We’ll see
Extremely addicting
Great afk game, also great for playing in game. No forced ads is nice. Extremely addicting
Its bad
Its not a good game
Starts of well! But exponential growth kills the mid game!
All of the pricing model is exponential which isn’t realistic and prevents one from building cool optimized city-planning designs. Eg: The price of non-generating items like roads, wires, and pipes should not increase. Why would block of wire cost 1 million steel yet the same exact wire cost 2 steel per block earlier on. Those items above are connectors and it makes no sense to have them double in price every square block! Also, those same items should have a “hidden”/underground layer so that the last Zones don’t end up looking like circuit boards! And prevent one from utilizing all the resources of the land! Inner-conspiracy thinks this is some sort of anti-capitalist game that teaches land exploitation is unsustainable. Just sayin, Exponential growth makes the game near impossible to beat in one or two days. Other than that, it was a nice way to get the optimization bug scratched!
Ad-Watching Simulator
Constant ads is one thing, but having to watch 3 ads to clear one little building block? That’s taking the cake. This is such a sham.
Great.. BUT!
My favorite app.. But, they are fraudulent devs, because they don't restore purchases if you restart. 3/5 (Fraud reported to Apple)
This game should be more popular
This game is so amazing it has so many features and I love the pixel art but there’s just one thing I think the coins should’ve T exist
Game is not scaling well.
At first it’s entertaining but then it gets boring super fast.
Game review
Absolutely amazing game, but it could possibly be a bit better if the cost to change the landscape from 30 to 20 so that it doesn’t take around 10 to 20 ads to change one block
Need to watch ads or pay real money to progress
There’s barriers in the game that require you to watch multiple ads to get past them. Or you can spend real money to get rid of them.
Game is very short
I love the idea of the game, it gives the player a little bit more work to do setting up and it’s not punishing as you can get resources back. However I completed the missions in 3 days and I’m currently at the point doing the final factories and it’s a huge grind. I haven’t needed to use the last 2 islands at all and I’m only using a bit of the third to last island. I can’t use them because sending power is difficult. Power and pipes are the main issues I have with the game. It’s really boring to have them both take up lots of space and they can’t cross over so I’m currently forced to have 2 sets of wires with pipes in the middle in order for factories to get access to both, and by having access to both they can’t get access to roads so loads of warehouses are needed. The game feels like it’s had a lot of love put into it in the beginning but the developer lost the love it had for the game. I feel this game has a lot more potential
It’s a great game but please get rid of the solitaire cash ad
it doesn’t work it just plays on repeat and i need to force quit the app. pretty frustrating experience honestly, these ad people are the worst. thank you for the game though it is excellent.
Advancements
While this game does look nice it really isn’t good, advancing is slow and the factory’s aspects feel broken
Great game should definitely add more to get bigger
.
Late game needs better balance
The balance of requirements vs production later in the game is only there to prolong gameplay rather than introduce challange.
Icons
It’s pretty good so far, but I don’t understand why the icons are so unnecessarily confusing. Carpenter and Ironworks icons are near identical, and others are very similar too. at a glance I don’t know what material I’m looking at. Very bizarre choice, every icon should be completely different.
Hidden Gem
Glad this one popped up in my suggestions. It’s strenuous finding good idle mobile games that are f2p. This is a relaxing and simplistic alternative to Factorio or something like that. Definitely a rewarding f2p if you don’t wanna pay and you don’t get punished with more ads by watching one to get a reward. For the mobile idle game world this actually has a challenging nature. The lack of challenge on f2p is a huge turn off in a genre that is rooted with exciting and complex experiences. Great game. Five out of five.
Yet another game that could be good if it wasn’t for all the pay walls
Just like every other free game that is fun, you need to shell out $$$ to advance. Do yourself a favour and skip this game unless you want to pay 11$!!
Endgame underdeveloped
It’s a fun and engaging game, and ads are not too annoying, however the quests that motivate you to keep developing in the first party of the game are nonexistent in the last part. Why would I want to build a Pyrolisis lab or produce fiberglass? There’s no new class of buildings/technology it could be used for. I think the latter part of the game needs to be developed further.
Lacking in animations
Fundamentally the game seems pretty good, it reminds me of other titles such as Sandship Tycoon with the conveyor themed resource mining. The pixelated art style is really fresh as well. But the key thing this game lacks is animations. Sure the buttons bounce a bit when you tap them, but I’d appreciate it much more if the producers and conveyors weren’t just static images, rather I would’ve appreciate it more if could I see the items moving along the conveyor belts or if the producers had some some sort animation to make it look like they’re working. Right now everything just feels rather lifeless. The game certainly does have potential and the lack of animation might reduce processing power, but I’m just not fond of its static nature right now. Perhaps this game needs some more time to bake in the oven. I look forward to what the developer has planned for this.
Alright
It’s an alright game, played for about 30 minutes, but already gets to a point where it takes a lot of patience to make progress, leading to boredom
