Tablet
The print is too small to play on my phone this is definitely a tablet game. But it is fun but hard. I like it.
Poor control
You can not select what you want easily, this game make you nervous
Great game, bad controls
I love this game so far, but the controls need work as I have to fight the camera at all times.
End game buggy
My run ended on day 20 because it would no longer let me place anything after already restricting where I could place things into the middle of my screen.
Bugged
I tap, I drag, nothing. Your game is bugged out. Good concept, needs work though. Your tutorial, I couldn’t even get past the junctions phase because of how buggy it was. Like I said earlier, I tap and drag for ages. Please, please make it better. I don’t want to be mean, but it’s almost as buggy as windows 1. Thanks, (Insert name here1)
:)
Great game should have more players
Tried it. Couldn’t do basic things. Poor controls.
Something about the drag interface isn’t intuitive and doesn’t work. Maybe discoverability is poor? I just couldn’t figure out how to make basic things happen in the tutorial. I also don’t like heavy handed tutorials that make you do things. I like them even less when you must do a thing and it doesn’t really explain how. Deleted after 5 minutes of frustration.
Fun, little buggy
It’s a fun resource management game in the vein of Mini Metro. My biggest gripe is that it doesn’t automatically select the utility button, so I have to manually do that all the time. Also, ads cannot be exited, I had to force quit. Lastly, I tried to upgrade but the button to do so didn’t work.
They ruined it
Used to be good, then they changed a few things. The controls suck, and this app sends so many notifications you’d think they’re paid on a per notification sent basis. And they’re not even good. Yes I realize I can just turn them off but it was so annoying that I uninstalled it instead 🤩
Good but
Don’t download it if you’re not going to pay because there are ads after every single day and you don’t even know where is the close botton
Interesting
An thought provoking resource management game. Challenging overall and hard to perfect. Fun daily and weekly challenges with rotating modifiers. Global leaderboards.
Не рекомендую
Показывает рекламу в последний момент и накидывает объектов на карту из за чего проигрывааешь
Good but with one fatal flaw
When you select a building piece, you can’t move your camera which has ruined so many of my runs
Use to love it. Hate the Simplification update.
I loved this game before putting it down for a while. When re-joining, I noticed the new simplified gameplay. In my opinion however, the different distributions of pipe vs wires and the inability to rotate buildings without using a resource is what made the game challenging and fun. In the simplified gameplay, I feel like it’s almost impossible. I may still come back to this game every now and then, but it’s really lost its challenge. (Changed from one to two stars. Felt too harsh going one star)
Overall good but
The game is quite fun but It has just been happening that sometimes the houses spawn on top of preexisting pipelines, cutting the flow of everything instantly, making you waste far more resources than normal.
Fun game aside from the ads…
Very fun game, enough I would consider buying it to get rid of the annoying ads. Any chance you guys will give us that option?
Tutorial doesn’t save progress
I gave up on this game because the tutorial won’t save my progress and now I’ve had to do the tutorial over and over again. I can’t see a way to skip it.
Coool game
JUST LET ME MOVE THE SCREEN and this game would be alright. Edit: developer response was very helpful, thank you devs!
Fun but frustrating
Moving around the map is horrible as you end out placing cables or pipes when just trying to move around the map. In the tutorial you could select a building and see the information on it I haven’t been able to do this since then so have no information on buildings other than the icons changing colour. The further you progress the random dropping building breaking all the pipes and power-lines feel like it’s on purpose so you then have to rebuild everything. I think adding an extra hand icon used to move around the map could solve the movement issues.
mini metro like game
graphic style pretty good, but game control feel so poor. I can't get the point of switching between 3D and 2D editing mode, I just make the game hard to control.
Completed my first lesson without failing once, (19820 points)
This game really challenges me and makes me have a blast at how much I can challenge myself and how much I can push myself in these challenges and puzzles! I give this game a 10/10, truly one of the best fun peaceful games out there. :) I wish there was more games like this one.
Used to be good
I used to enjoy this game to occasionally zone out, but ever since the last update the two finger gesture to move the map doesn’t work and now it is unplayable
Great game:)
Great game, very simplistic and challenging, if you could add a better way to view the city without being in build or delete mode, that would be great, but other than that it’s really fun
2 issues…
I was loving this game until it accidentally was deleted from my device. When I reloaded it I discovered I had to start all over even though my Player Profile shows all of the accomplishments. While “Restore purchase” works fine, there is no way to restore your previous game history. On top of that, there is no way to contact Support. App Support sends you to their website just fine…BUT there is no option to contact their support. I don’t like leaving reviews without contacting support first…but there is no other option.
Needs removal of ads
Also, I think this would be better on iPad than iPhone. The controls are a little cramped.
Creating better than an artist
It’s crazy and creative and tricky but it only 13% is tricky the rest is all just….. creativity!!!!
Couldn’t get past the tutorial
Connected the cities but apparently not good enough. 🤷♀️
Bon jeu mais réel problème de maniabilité
C’est un bon jeu mais sur iPhone c’est un enfer pour placer les tuyaux et la vision est pas pratique
Tutorial was inaccurate
The game itself seems fun and playing the tutorial I really enjoyed it but when I played the real game it was somewhat inconsistent with the tutorial. The tutorial explains that tapping the clock will stop time and holding down on the clock will speed up time. I really appreciated being able to pause time because it made the game enjoyable instead of stressful. But when I went to play the first level, I was very much unable to stop time, and could only speed it up. Because I expected to have the same abilities I had in the tutorial, I did not do well, and after many tries still haven’t made it past day 6 or 7 on the first level/location. This was pretty frustrating because I really enjoy puzzle games but don’t do well with timers or needing to be fast. If the tutorial was accurate and I could stop timeI would definitely still be playing the game. The app support is kind of lacking because it requires that I have social media or give out my personal email, which as someone who isn’t in the habit of either means I’m forced to leave a bad review and hope they see it instead of starting a dialogue to get the problem fixed.
Great Game; Poor Controls
Don’t be fooled by my rating. I adore both the aesthetic and gameplay of Tiny Connections, however, it could benefit from some rework of the controls because for a mobile game, it doesn’t have much flexibility. I could attempt to delete a pipe and accidentally delete a grid supporting like 4 homes. The pan to the whole city whenever you deselect is kind of unnecessary. It does present your city in an interesting light but it is so repetitive that it’s annoying. The zoom feature is a bit slow and junky, I wish I could increase the speed of the zoom because it makes it so that you have to zoom multiple times. Therefore increasing the chance you accidentally remove or add something you wish you didn’t. Aside from those features is what I struggle with the most. The tunnels. The tutorial is very well made and I appreciate that, however, I think it didn’t show how hard it is to actually place the tunnels when you have factors such as the zoom and clunky controls in general. You must place two consecutively and the amount of times I accidentally tried connecting a 2 with a 3 is laughable compared to the time I’ve played. Also, the way to place pipes and grids is confusing. It’s like you have to delete half of your pipe or one side of it to connect them properly. I am upset with the game overall but love the idea of it a lot.
Great game
Great game just started playing but how do you move around?
Junk
Another brainless development for a useless game
Great casual puzzel/sim game
Love the game, as others indicated it is similar to mini motorways but a different theme in my opinion. Managing a power grid vs road design. I would have give. 5 stars if these were addressed as others have mentioned - Prove a way to pay for the game to turn off ads. - be able to pan, zoom, tilt without having a build mode selected. The zoomed out view isnt great and i avoid using it.
Nifty…for the first minute.
It’s at that point where you realize that navigating the screen is an exercise in futility. To be zoomed in, you have to have a resource selected. When you try to move around the screen you’re throwing pipes and cables randomly, which you then have to delete. You can exit both delete and resource mode, but that throws you to the bird’s eye view and you’re back where you started. I had to exit the tutorial because it wanted me to connect stuff to a house…and the one connector it had wasn’t the right one. At no point did the tutorial “tutor” me as to what I was doing wrong. And in regular game play, houses or cities or whatever they were died because trying to reach them involved a one step forward in build mode, two steps back in delete mode process. Which took too long. Game needs a third mode for navigation where you can swipe around the land without wreaking havoc. I’m sure it’s a nice game but it’s just too frustrating to spend a lot of time on. If there was an abstract art achievement for putting a weird blob of pipes in the middle of nowhere, that I could pull off. Best of luck. Uninstalled.
Not too bad, but needs work
This is a decent start to a game, but it needs some polish. Two things I find lacking are, one, the information to using different pieces and two, controlling the screen. The tutorial is ok, but some pieces, like tunnels, are not always easy to figure out. Maybe a guide, as you play, to remind you of what a piece can do. The second thing lacking, the control of the screen, is a much larger issue. Twice, I have made it far enough where the city gets crowded and not being able to zoom in to a specific area is a huge problem. I misplaced a tile and could not easily go back and adjust because it was in a corner of the screen. This in turn, causes a break in the water / power line and failure to finish the level. Good luck going forward with this game!
SUCH a calming game
this is a beautiful hidden treasure; most crucially, the ads are not annoying at ALL but gameplay-wise this is the most satisfying game i’ve played on mobile since mini-metro, and the noises are so caaalming? if you like asmr for clicky keyboards you’ll love this, and the jazzy music is gorgeous. thank you so much for this!! please keep this game as gorgeous as it is!
Hate everything abt this on mobile
THIS SHOULDNT EVEN GET A STAR
Для планшета , то что нужно
Может быть я не до конца понял , но если просто так поставить любое строение , то оно будет не активным всю игру .
Wanted to like this game. Would be great with a couple adjustments
First of all, i love the idea of this game. It could be fun to play if it did raise my blood pressure. I had to uninstall. First issue: how to pause is explained one time. I had to go to youtube to figure it out again. And then i had to figure out by observation that the pause is temporary . The game did not tell me this, nor is there any clearly visible indicator when the clock is paused, like there is when speeding up time. Way, way, way larger issue. The stupid power up bonuses kicking you completely out of what you were doing. Then i have to remember where i was and which button to push, then i get another one and have to do it again. Just give me an indicator that it’s ready for me and i will get to it when i need to. If that’s not how you want to control gameplay, i understand…but at least put me back where you took me from instead of to the main view! Three or four clicks makes a big difference when you are trying to reattach 3 things that busted due to a new placement.
Miss clicking is very annoying
It very easy to do things unintentionally because I let go of one finger before the other and the that stays on longer registers as a tap. I wish you were permanently in build mode.
Like classic sim city
I love this simple and challenging game!!!! A simple concept that is addicting to play. Pause the clock for very zen game play. I can get frustrating because it is easy to accidentally delete or place water/electricity lines when just trying to maneuver the map. I wish you could zoom out more as the map grows.
Carbon Copy of Mini Motorways
Someone in another review said this was a similar game to Mini Motorways… it’s more than just similar, it’s a straight up carbon copy of that game, with only minute differences (you do power and water instead of roads, and you can rotate buildings). Please don’t download and support this type of game development. Please just download Mini Motorways. This type of game development will lead us to every game becoming a carbon copy of something else. I’m sure the developers here could take a different design path over time, but at the moment this is just straight up copied gameplay with some new assets. Please don’t support this people. We want original designs that may use similar ideas or pieces of other games, not this…
Major update 👎
Just why ? Game is uglier (tested every setting on IPad Air 5th gen) … I don’t like this new system and the idea of limited supply, makes no sense without a weather system (maybe random rain and wind events to restock ?). Also why not just make energy sources moveable ? I get the idea of not choosing where houses pop up, but not being able to move energy sources and optimizing the network is really annoying.
Great concept, frustrating ui.
This could be a much better game but sadly the user controls are terrible. When you want to move the map you need to use the two fingers and drag method, which is fine, except half the time this deploys your pipes/cables instead of moving the map…but if you unselect the pipes/cables to avoid deploying them, the map zooms out so you cant scroll to the place your want. Then when you re-select the pipes/cables it goes back to the start point! Same problem when selecting delete, rotate ect. Having a joystick to scroll or a hand icon to press to scroll without building would make it a great game.
love this type of game, doesn’t work great on a touchscreen
too many misclicks and frantically trying to fix it on a time restriction to be the relaxing game it’s going for, atleast for me.
Excellent game, similar to Mini Metro
Very good game, plays similarly to Mini Metro/Motorways but instead of train lines or roads your putting down infrastructure. So you get different colored buildings that show up and you need to connect them to either water or power of the same color. Simple at first but as the time progresses you have to connect more buildings and you only have a certain amount of tiles to do it. You also get “upgrades” like mini metro in the form of more tiles or some tunnels or junctions to help you out. Really fun overall, free to download, the first three maps are free and you can opt to buy some more if you like it. There’s also an option to remove ads (which I haven’t seen many of) and you can bundle those two purchases together for a bit of a discount. Great job devs!
Poorly Balanced
Poorly balanced - first puzzle after the tutorial unsolvable due to several tight placements. The timing is very unforgiving and the timer pausing doesn't work as instructed. Great idea in desperate need of polishing.
So close to being a great game
Really enjoy games similar to this and this came so close to being great. The fact new buildings can spawn over your existing lines in really annoying. ‘Rotators’ are a terrible idea, just let us change them. It makes everything look really untidy when creating the connection. I think the UI may be a little small and hard to control at times, lots of deleting and zooming in and out. Really wanted to enjoy it more, but with the bits listed above I ended up giving up without even finishing the first level.
Potential but major flaws
Game has potential. Yes it is very similar to mini motorways. I do like the upgrades in this game more. The zoom/pan is not perfect and makes it harder to operate under time constraints. The pause feature doesn’t work which is a huge deal. It’s often difficult to see what places are about to run out of time. I also like how there’s an end goal and isn’t just limitless. A little work and could be much better but worth playing.
