Old School F1 fan loving the new school mag.
I’ve been a subscriber of the F1 magazine since its inception years ago, and I wasn’t sure if the merger with Autosport would work as Autosport hadn’t been that great in the past. But I wasn’t sure wrong it’s a great magazine for motorsport devotees like me. The app version is excellent too.
Tittle tattle
I’m not impressed with the way you report on motor sport. It’s too much about back biting and not enough about the cars. I’ve been reading Auto Sport for 60 years and I not inclined to renew my subscription. But I suppose it’s me and my old person.

Tidningen för alla Formula1 fans. Det är inte direkt någon 'bläddra' känsla utan mera 'dra' nya sidorna. Ett roligt inslag är dom små interaktiva inslagen i tidningen tex små filmsnuttar och speaker röster. Men alla som bläddrat i pappers utgåvan vet vad som väntar i artikel väg.
Great Content if You Can Access it!
I pay for this and it makes me log in every time you want to read a “plus” story when when I tick “remember me”. Absolutely no response when you try to log a problem with the publisher too. A real shocking way to be treated when I contribute to their wage!
Poorly designed
Ok it’s less buggy lately but the notifications simply don’t work. When you do get them it just opens the mobile site so you have to log in to view it. Has this thing even been tested??
Autoshort'n'sweet
A great addition to an already great magazine. When you need short and concise Motorsport news and you can't wait until the next Autosport publication, this is the ideal app.
Terrible app on iPad
Little works cannot view library or anything but home Impossible to read magazine Cannot contact any support for a refund and to cancel my subscription
Needs work
Love the Autosport magazine content but the app is lacking. Have to re-log in almost every time even though I have “keep me logged in” checked. I typically have to delete the app and re-download it from the app store to get it to make the newest issue available, which means I also have to re-download my old issues. Lastly, having the magazine app separate from the Autosport Plus app seem clunky. Other publications show how it can be done.
A disgrace
How can a publisher who claims to be "The world's leading motorsport authority" put it's name to such an appalling app. Almost 100% one star reviews make it clear that something needs to be done. The same complaints month after month & still no response. The current digital editions of Autosport are available from other sites so what possible excuse can you have.
Suits Retina
I was a loyal Autosport paper copy reader until I got my IPad 3rd gen, suits the retina display very well with added video links on some articles good zoom very clear, all in all very happy with this App, £2.99 per issue so it's even cheaper than the paper copy and you get more content, Very pleased Autosport reader:-)))
Pleas sort the app
Posting a bit of help for everyone else who seems stuck in the same position of this awful app. If you have a digital subscription and a Mac computer you can download the magazine via the website and then air drop the pdf to your phone and read in the Apple Books application. Not ideal but works. As per the rest of the comments please sort the app out as it doesn’t download ! I
App malfunction
Love the magazine. App has problems, new issues only appear after I delete & re-install app. Looks like it is the same for others More Nigel Roebuck please
No free initial issue
The description states you get the current issue free. This is not the case- it requires an in app purchase at the normal rate. False advertising!

Rubbish
I tried this again and it’s still rubbish. Due to COVID-19 I tried to purchase the current issue. The process said success then “Oops Fail”. I closed the app & checked my card and no purchase there. Back in the app I tried again and it said “Repeat purchase”!! Aaaarghhhh. How much money are you guys losing? It’s a fantastic magazine and the staff working on it deserve better than this load of bollox. Time to delete the app again and try again in 12 months maybe......
The magazine is great but...
The magazine is great but the pixelmags delivery mechanism is crap. I'm lucky if I can go more than 2 weeks without having to uninstall and reinstall (thus losing all downloaded content) so that it can see that there is a new edition available. This is the "recommended solution" from their support. Aggravating!

This app doesn’t work
I would love to read Autosport but find it impossible with this app. I should have got the printed version. Now I have paid for a year and I can’t see how I’ll read any. Absolutely rubbish app. Is there anyone responsible for running this app, I don’t think so. I now can’t even get into my account or even change my password. Wish I’d never paid for the digital version.
Good, When it eventually updates!
Don't get me wrong, this is a great app for a great magazine. It's just it doesn't always have the new issues until later in the day and that doesn't work for me and my wi fi only iPad because I like to download it to read at work. Other than that it's good.
Why would I subscribe to THIS?
I love the magazine and would like to subscribe to the digital version, but the lag in making current issues available on the app makes that pointless. I’m writing this on 25th September, and the latest issue available is the 3rd September issue with the Spa report. Three issues are or have been on shop shelves but are not available to read on the app, and I’ve no interest in subscribing to a package that would mean I’d be reading race reports 2 or 3 weeks (or more) after the event. My other magazine apps upload their issues on the day of retail release. That’s the standard, and anything else is unacceptably poor.

Garbage
This app is an absolute disgrace. I have to keep re-registering and even then it randomly decides it is not downloading. A total waste of money.
Not good enough
I bought an electronic copy as my print subscription and I was interested in saving space around home. Unfortunately what has been released appears to be little more than the pre-print work up down by the layout guys with a page turning tool and occasional (handheld) video content. Major flaws include No optimisation for iPad. It is little more than a PDF of the magazine with very little extra content. Even the ads are flat! Some more videos and links wouldn't go amiss. No proper zoom function - the articles are exceedingly difficult to read at standard length, and the zoom function appears to be worse than Safari's ie it does not "stick" to the article you're reading, meaning you double tap and are then pinching around the page. Even implementing a simple article zoom like in the Comix which follows the flow of the page logically would be a huge improvement. No way to get an Autosport plus account by buying it purely online. It's weird that buying it online means you can't get the Autosport plus stuff whereas if you buy the paper copy you can get the autosport plus online content and free digital copy. All in all there's potential, but until they sort out the above I'd avoid it and just get the print copy. Developers, just look at the BMJ and Guardian apps to see how it should be done.
App stopped updating
Cannot get any issues after 30th April, contacted pixelmags twice, no response. DO NOT BUY OR SUBSCRIBE, would be my suggestion, if this is the level of support.
Woeful support and app
Now we have no magazine and frankly no on line as I cannot access my subscription. No solutions and no one has a clue how to sort out when you call the service centre located in Johannesburg!
