Cephalic Vein
New to this App use multiple sites including paid ones. This is excellent, easy to use, so much better than most including the new Met Office. Great app for general use and possibly specialist use .
The worst weather app
This lousy app can't even predict the weather for the same day. They forecast in the morning sunny day and a few hours later, it's pouring rain.
Missing app feedback option
Hi. Love the app. Very intuitive and pretty accurate. One issue I would deliver via dev feedback but I cannot find anywhere to do this (maybe because of the following) - settings button has been replaced with “profile” which causes app to freeze. I’m on iOS 18.5 iPhone 13 mini and app version 6.0.2
Cannot switch between saved locations!
So, I set up this app and saved a bunch of locations … but then there seems to be no way to access or switch between my saved locations! The Android app has a 'hamburger' menu for this, but not here. Very disappointing.
Once the best…
I downloaded this during Covid and it was the best weather app I’ve ever had. Far more accurate than any other. But recently when going to the 10 day forecast it now sticks on table rather than graph. And it seems to be something I cannot change, which is a terrible shame. Can’t understand why people can read numbers better on a forecast than visual representation.
Accurate
Over the years I have used many weather Apps YR has been far more accurate and trustworthy recommend by a friend in Sweden.
Buffering
It refuses to load, my internet speed is sufficient but I have even tried uninstalling and reinstalling and the only graphic I get is the exciting spinning wheel on the screen!
Lost localisation
Been using it for a very long time, best weather app, accurate more often than many others. Shame that the weather animation only does 48 hours & you have to change screen to see further (although who trusts weather forecasts for more that 2 days in time !?!) However, some serve issue at their end meant that the localisation has gone funny and it’s putting a few miles away from where I am !! :( Any chance for a fix or an update soon ?
Rubbish
Like every weather app. A complete waste of space. Said no rain for 24 hours. An hour later, it’s throwing it down. If you can’t forecast correctly for the next three hours, what really is the point of you.
Excellent on iPhone, not so much on Apple Watch
Works well in the iPhone, better predictions than the met office, and a nice UI. Unfortunately on the Apple Watch it seems to default to Fahrenheit, with no way to change it. The mobile app is set to Celsius, and works fine.
Unit update not welcome but can be changed
The automatic units on the recent update aren’t useful, but can be changed - strangely the app needed quitting and reopening for the rainfall units to update. It’s a great app and especially accurate for the north of the U.K.
Celsius?????
I like the app on the iPhone. I can set what units I want, metric/ISO always. I now login to the app on the iPhone. The iPad app appears out of date. There is no way to select metric units and it displays Fahrenheit which is completely incomprehensible to me. I live in the UK, a metric country. The app support button in the App Store takes me to pages that are out of date and do not relate to the current version. I’m disappointed.
Bug med widgets
Flot app men widgets er buggy. Man kan slet ikke tilføje dem til lockscreen medmindre man gøre det inden man åbner appen for første gang. Jeg var nød til at downloade appen flere gange for at sæt dem op ordenligt.
bad interface
difficult/impossible ? to change favourite location
Iphone app and widgets
What to know. Well if it worked it would be awesome. Widgets do not work unless you sign into website, they advised cookies was the problem, i have removed cookies and all protection from their site and still no difference. So just use it the best you can on a normal app and avoid the widget’s. Not many allergies listed either? (Ash & Olive please.)
Intuitive
Smart layout. I’ll see how accurate it is over the next few months.
Totally pointless
I had read about the app and how good it was so thought I give it a try. The UI is very pleasant, I like the way the information is provided. However, the forecast I get here in the Scottish Highlands is based on Kinloss on the Moray Firth, “only” 54 miles away. Given that the weather up here can change three times within 10 miles travel the weather forecast is generally useless. It may be accurate in the South or Norway, but you live in the North of Scotland forget it!
Latest release on iPhone
I’m afraid that I don’t see the point of the shading below the curves on the temperature and wind graphs (metograms). The previous version superimposed the precipitation on the temperature graph. Separating the two wastes screen space. I recall that the temperature scale on the previous version was 2 degrees per cell. It is now 3 degrees per cell - presumably to make room for the separate precipitation graph. Superimposing the two provides more detail and saves screen space. Still my favourite weather app.
Accurate, but saved locations are missing even when logged in and can't be saved within the app
I've tried multiple times and in a multitude of ways to save locations to the app, but it simply will not work. Locations saved to my account are accessible with a web browser, but not with the app, despite definitely being logged in! It's a real shame saved locations don't work because the forecasts are very accurate and the app is feature-rich. I'd happily give five stars if the locations feature was fixed.
Rain, what rain?
As a refugee from the now horrible Met Office app I really like the look of this. Unfortunately the precipitation data is partial or missing. Not usable until fixed unfortunately.
100% reliable
Always spot on, wherever I am.
Was good
This used to be my favourite weather app because it was so simple to get a sense of the weather. The update has broken this and put in multiple graphs making it much harder to read. It’s now rubbish to use.
Works great on iPhone 15, reports conf issues on Apple Watch
While trying to use the Yr app on Apple Watch v10.5 the app reports Missing configuration. Go to settings In the Yr app on your phone. I did and failed to find anything mentioning configuration settings. I’ve since restarted both my iPhone and watch still the watch app doesn’t app to work at all.
Completely wrong
Last couple of weeks has been badly wrong. Here I am in Kent, heavy rain all morning 13/09/25 even thunder but predicted dry. Other apps accurate.
Good
Good, but can’t get the detailed forecast so end up using a browser instead
Great but needs a UVI Lock Screen widget
Great app! The widgets work without enabling Location services. Most other apps use "current location" on widgets and drain battery unnecessarily. This one has widgets that let you manually choose the city and it has a handy UVI widget too. I would like to see the UVI widget option for the Lock Screen though. The data is the same as the website which I use otherwise.
Update broken Lock Screen widget
Lost the ability to receive the weather in the lock screen widget since update before last. Just seeing the message “couldn’t download forecast”
Graph view :(
Was great until the last update don’t like the way the graph view looks it’s hard to see what times and amount of rain there’s going to be (ain’t broke don’t fix it)
Something Changed
Used to be my go to app but since Dec 2024, the app is crashing and not responding well. Location Forecasts don’t load, and some are simply inaccessible all together! Very inconsistent behaviour. This has pushed me to use another app.
Promising, not quite there yet
Given this a quick try. There’s a lot to like; and a different approach that works (and covers UK) but takes a bit of getting used to. However, the locations are nearly unusable - hard to find and swap between. They should be accessible (and editable) from Profile, and probably from the top centre drop-down.
Just like mentioned in Clarkson’s Farm
Over the years I tried many many different weather apps. Especially here in North of England. I do like outdoors and it was very important to me to have one that is actually working. None of them were! At times I could have different weather providers at the same time and their forecasts were totally different to each other and also difference to what the actual weather was! I decided to give this one ago and I am absolutely shocked how precise This one is! I will not change this one and I will not use any other forecast. Many of my friends are now using this one. It’s a bit basic app and to be totally honest I would pay monthly subscription for this if it was reasonable priced if it was slightly improved I mean UI wise. Great job.
Bring back the combined graph
Can’t fathom why it was a good idea to take one easy to read graph and split the information across multiple graphs making it so much harder to digest the forecast they provide which has otherwise proven to be brilliantly accurate. Hope to have as quick a turnaround on feedback as others have highlighted 🤞
App good, widgets, ehh...
App works good and looks clean. Widgets suddenly started displaying incorrect temps for my area. Go into the app and it's correct but widget is wrong though it states it's updated.
👎 Konsekvent unøyaktige prognoser
Does not use modern technology and algorithms for accurate weather prediction. Precipitation forecasts are misleading and false, especially when it rains when Yr forecasts no rain. Yr seems to use outdated weather models from 1960 😂
Bugs
App looks great and is accurate in the UK but the temperature is stuck on Fahrenheit when viewed on the Apple Watch app. No matter how many times I delete and install it still doesn’t synchronise with the iPhone app. Please fix
Great
saw Clarkson recommend this app, can say it is very accurate, cheers
Doesn’t work
App just stopped working. I used to regularly use it, but I can’t get any service from it now. Really disappointing.
Watch widget seems to have location issues
Fine app, tends to underpromise rather than overpromise. Only issue, which has happened for a while, if you use the watch widget as "a complication" (I believe they're called when you configure it on the watch face, it doesn't update location. I have given it access to location "Always," but right now I see the weather for Amsterdam (while in London)
Not correct
I’m looking at the sun shining down and the app is showing rain. Not very accurate
Rainfall change
With the new update the rainfall has changed to inches and it’s such a pain. It’s the only unit of measurement you can’t change in settings.
Great for Val Thorens snowfall!
Has been very accurate for the weather for the current and following day, including snowfall, sunshine and cloud cover. Has helped us plan our layers for skiing, and get an idea of when to restore our energy for the next day of good weather! The sliding function on the Sky tab, and clicking the “Hourly” option on the Table tab are great to see the breakdown throughout the day! Thanks for a great app!
Weather app?
There may be a worse weather app, but I haven’t found it. Frequently wrong. Says no rain at the moment, there’s a torrential downpour. Has been all morning. Bizarre.
Amazing!
This weather app is amazing, the only reason it’s missing one star from me is because I cannot see the cloud coverage over a certain area during a specific hour. This is a very personal thing but it 100% deserves that last star!
Disappointed
Got this app as my friend recommended like really good for every minute weather forecast. Last year worked really good, this year is very bad. Right now its raining where I am and it will rain for next 1h but app says only clouds. No need to use this app, deleted.
Good app weird location
I like the app but it’s decided to always show me a location several miles away rather than the closest one. No option to change this?
Maria
Weather app l think it’s great this app it tells me how the weather in different parts of country it tells me how is weather is going on yeah it good well done 🇬🇧
Widget
iPhone widget doesn’t work
No pressure and no radar
Whilst the forecasts are reasonably accurate why do you not give the barometric pressure and instead of or in addition to the sky view please could there be a radar view preferably live and future be provided?
Cool app but wrong weather
Great features and nice look, but I finally deleted this after 3 months of back-and-forth with my wife about what the weather would be (she uses a different app) and my constantly ending up wrong.
Pretty, but inaccurate
On the surface it looks great. Used for over 3 months. Quite a significant number of times this app was extremely off with the weather here in the UK. If I want accuracy I got to Metcheck.com
