Super hot.
Those Aussies know how to put together a magazine!
Do Not Buy
The latest update has pics edited that aren't even bad. Do not waist your 7 bucks. They took the fun out of the magazine.
Great gay magazine
Been a DNA subscriber for 2yrs look forward to each issue and now i have the digital version i can read it on all my devices
Orientation issues
On the iPad, this keeps flipping to the wrong way up in landscape. Very annoying.
New iPad support
Can we get support for the new iPads
DNA MAGAZINE
Interesting and outgoing
The current version crashes repeatedly
The current version crashes, loses issues I've purchased, it is slow. Hopefully they'll fix it someday.
Update needed for new iOS devices
Please update app for support on newer iOS devices such as 2018 iPads.
pocketMag has got to go
I've spent all night trying to download the latest issue. Just got 112 pages downloaded. The thought of finishing this issue plus 3 others is giving me a major headache. On the positive side, I always thought t was a patient person until this began. now I know I'm not..
Bad security
Would be good except security makes it annoying to use and the downloaded magazines vanish. Lousy app.
Fantastic magazine
DNA is without question the best men's magazine I have ever seen. I used to get The Advocate when it was still printed on newsprint, and I've been receiving OUT magazine since it came out. There is no comparison to the advocate for serious political and cultural reporting, but they separated their "visual" content quite a few years ago removing themselves from the genre where one would logically put DNA magazine. And out magazine is mostly advertising and fashion, neither of which particularly appeals to me. From the first time I looked at DNA magazine I knew it was something different. The models are exceptionally handsome and fit, men who would cause you to stop and stare if seen on the street. DNA was the first place I had ever seen the model pull his speedos down to where the reader could see the base of his penis, a look I call the "DNA look". I'm not sure DNA would win any awards for journalism, but for sheer entertainment value, I've seen nothing better.
Poor app
The magazines fail to download properly every time. This leaves you in an endless loop of entering passwords in the pocket mag app and the apple store which brings you to a blank screen, deleting the mags and starting all over. Avoid this app !
Good read
Light hearted content with fresh photos that are tastefully presented - nothing confronting, just healthy, normal people pictured in their best
What happened to restore purchases?
Why some applications have such a problem to restore previously purchased issues. This is not the first time I had thiss problem with DNA. Very unprofessional!
Not fair
iTunes has forced DNA to censor there pics do to showing a small bit of skin below the belt. But other apps show lady's in much more revealing bikinis. Not fair at all. Shame on iTunes
Digital reading made easy
This is what I want to say about this app. It's sexy, fresh and easy to use. I like reading the physical magazine but this is definitely a great alternate.
Broken
app crashes...does not download. Tried everything. Please fix.
Love it!
DNA has to be the best gay international magazine there it. Great photos, great articles. Great in print and on my iPad. I look forward to DNA every month. Thanks DNA. Keep up the great work!
Buyer Beware!
Not only am I having trouble opening the app after I purchased a magazine, but I was shocked to find that it was CENSORED by the magazine itself?!?!?! Very dissatisfied.
Re-install
I couldn't access any purchased editions on iPad. Deleting them and then reloading them from the App Store solved the problem. Still shouldn't have to do it though.
The best
DNA is one of the best gay mags ever--well-designed, great articles, very informative, and fantastic photos of hot beautiful hunky men!
I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!
I bought the yearly digital subscription and I can't open the goddamn app!!! This digital magazine subscription is a RIP OFF!!!!
Please update!
This is a great magazine that I've always enjoyed reading. But please UPDATE so we can view it on iPod touch 5 or iPhone 5!
Where is the current edition?
OK so even though I thought the online edition is overpriced, I went ahead and subscribed. Yesterday the whole download page went blank bar some radio buttons, and after nearly 24 hours have yet to hear from Pocket Mag. What is most disappointing was seeing the latest edition at the newsagent, and yet unavailable for download. I hope they improve the service otherwise I am going to be regretting my decision to subscribe.
Back Issues Bundle?
I purchased the 6 back issue bundle. App allowed me to use a credit for the first backissue - but next three, has charged my apple account again.??? who can fix this issue for me?
Best of Both Worlds
I get both the print version as well as the digital version, and they are identical... Love them both. Nice to have these hunkie men traveling with me wherever I go. The quality of the digital version on my iPad is absolutely great. I am very happy that I figured out how to access my DNA online! Bill
Great mag. GARBAGE APP
Wasted lots of money on a magazine subscription that will not open. Simply put. RIP OFF SHAME ON YOU FOR GARBAGE AND RIPPING CUSTOMERS OFF
Get it
Interesting articles, some are fluffy and lighthearted while others are more sophisticated. Great photos. Always makes me smile. I like to read it on the plane. I'm from the States and still find it relevant. Worth the purchase.
App not working anymore
I reckon the app should be fixes due I have invested money in magazines which I can not read anymore. Fix or give us a solution. Very disappointed
Deployed
A must have when I'm deployed. Redirects my thoughts for a while! ;P thank you!
Disappointing!
...and frustrating! Can't access the purchases I made. No response from publisher. Nothing. App really needs a lot of work.
Great option
Great way to get the latest edition of this Oz based magazine without paying through the nose or having to wait for it to arrive in the UK. Great read and informative
Suddenly app isn't working
Was reading online the other day, shut down to do something else. Now the app won't load and shuts down within seconds ! Just did the update as I thought you guys might have realized !!! But no still not working ! I'm paying for this please fix
More than meets the eye
Although DNA offers up some impressive photography, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is equally remarkable for its narratives. Well done,
Needs an update!
Just got iOS 6 on my iPad. The DNA app no longer works. What's the story?
Good app
Good app with great interactive magazines. In my opinion, some pictures in the newer issues should be higher resolution especially for those of us who have iPads. (Space-usage be damned.) As for all the idiots yet again moaning about temporary disruption - this occasionally happens with new uploads. So what? Don't want the wait? Go buy the magazine physically. Or get a hobby... Thanks DNA! ^__^\\//
Disappoint
No mention the super long start time, slow reaction and frequent crashes, why this app displays an ugly low resolution icon in my Newsstand? PS: However magazine itself is great, but need support for new iPad screen.
Danyal's
Love the magazine!!!
Doesn't work for people with print subscriptions.
Terrible app.
App is not working
APP is working good now that bugs have been fixed. Only feedback to DNA would be to enable downloading of each issue in the background instead of having to have the App active to download each issue. Magazine is a great read though
Doesn't work
Crashes every time I try to open it. Contacted company soon after release, no fix. Lack of support reminds me why I cancelled my physical subscription.
The best gay magazine internationally
Not only the models are hot , but the serious feature or political articles are of very high quality . I feel I learn something every time I read it . Also the iPad version has great resolution n come out very promptly - I subscribed to the air mail option but it has been taking me 3-4 weeks to get the copy via air mail ( yes I complained to dna many times but they think its normal for air mail to take that long to ?????) Great app to install ... One potential improvement : the iPad version could've tried to mark it more interactive n more value added instead of just plain direct copy of the magazine . Could refer to how "attitude" does it
Bad App
Paid for a year. Got two issues only. Bad contact numbers. No to slow responses from magazine. Neat magazine if you get access to it.
cool
great to see this released however it has crashed 3 times in the last half hour on my ipad and the sign up process returns an error :( ---------- garr! now it wont open at all :( it loads the DNA Logo then crashes, several reboots later and it still doesnt work. ill try reinstalling it.
