Ratings
The Admin is really cute. Lol. Ummm , there’s no a lot of people who are actively looking and talking people don’t respond to the messages or likes. Your sites need more people. It needs to be more active. However , I was able to talk to to people and one person who I really like very much. I hope for a date with that person. Only time will tell. I’m very grateful that the $14.99 is for a month. That’s perfect. Thank you so much for letting me use your site. I absolutely would recommend this site to anyone who is looking for a date , hook up or just wanting a friend to share and talk too. Michael
Catfish and scammers
I’m imagining this app gained its high star rating in its earlier days, when it was probably better moderated. I have used it for two weeks, and have found it to be nothing but scammers. No matter whom I talk to or in what context, it inevitably ends up being some kind of scam. It’s almost kind of fun jerking the people around a little bit, but it’s also sad, given that it really is just a cesspool where these creeps prey on people who are a little bit vulnerable. But yeah, if you’re actually looking for a serious dating app, I would look elsewhere.
It’s okay
The app is okay I guess. No match but I’m assuming not a lot of people in my area used this because I’ve filtered in took off filters and not many choice. In Michigan
:(

Great App
Give it a try ! So far so good and better than other apps out there.
Unusable
Far too many adds can't even use the app
Loving it so far
Just wish more people were on the app so I had more options. Overall, happy with the results!
Too much ads
I used to love Surge until you keep being bombarded with ads that last forever and it’s obvious they’re trying to push you to upgrade as after the ad ends its shows “Had enough of ads” To be honest it’s not worth upgrading as there is not enough guys using this app so after a short while you’ll end up with a blank screen saying “running out of swipes!”

Great app
Love this app it the best
Review
Dead, don’t match with anyone just got a million likes I can’t view and I can’t be bothered to pay for a dead conversation
New
New to the site but good experience already.
Mala
Trying for a week
Ill edit this once i get to use it for a week
Grrrrr
Awesome app . 🐻🤤🐾🌈🔥
Save your money
Don’t waste your time and money on this app.
Great dating app
Surge is an easy to use and set up dating app admin are super nice and helpful and it’s just a good app give it a try.

Pros and Cons
It was excellent a few years ago. Now it seems like there are more scammers who fake their location than before, but still fewer than most other apps. However the user base is quite small.
Excited to try something new
So far it’s fine
Does not function w out paid sub
Pay wall goes up immediately and is super frustrating. Don’t bother unless you plan on signing up for one of the paid subs. And even then who knows.
Decent app
Surge is a decent app, you can pay for a premium subscription but can also use the app for free with less percs!
Hott stuff here
Lots of love
AVOID, just a money pit
Don’t waste your time. It’s swiping with ZERO messaging ability unless you pay. It’s actually WORSE than the dominate competitor you came here to escape from.
It’s a good start
Just started it out and it seems like a good app very easy to use
Good, no annoying ads
Good but a bit slow paced
Nice
Very good
Money, money, money
You have to pay money to use the app. There’s advertisements everywhere. There’s even advertisements that take over the app and you have to exit the app just to get the advertisement to stop.
Great, but…
Idk if it’s because hookup culture is so deep rooted within gay culture, but the app is similar to the big G in the sense that a lot of people are wanting hookups. The devs make it seem that this is a good place to find dates and actual relationships, yet the large majority are those who are looking for hookups. That being said, surge is a great app. It’s an app by gays, for gays. And you can feel safe knowing that you’re surrounded by like minded people. I’m looking for love, and it seems that online is the best way to find it. It allows you to cast a wider net when looking for the right “fish in the sea”. Great work!
Reviews are not accurate
I read the reviews and downloaded the app based on their overview of it, generally sounded positive and that you had functionality even as a non-premium paying member. Sadly, this is not the case, having completed my profile. I started using the app and received my first match. I wasn’t able to identify who it was I had matched with unless I became a premium paying member. People who view you are unable to be identified unless you become a premium paying member. This unfortunately, given a desire to test the app first seems counterintuitive to me as I would not pay the price of membership before validating whether the app is for me or not. Seemed to be a well built application but I cannot justify paying for something before I’ve tested it, especially as it’s dating app and these tend to be filled with scam or bots, I guess I will never know!

A challenger arises!
Easy interface and a great selection of members to choose from!!
Have to pay for everything
Not worth it. Everything costs and not even that many profiles
Great app
Enjoying the app so far
Demasiados anuncios
Surge
The best gay app ever
Overpriced
Overpriced and only useable if you pay the price. If you don’t pay it’s pointless to download
Easier than Grindr
A lot easier than Grindr I find. Happy medium between Grindr and tinder. Not many likes at the start but it refilled quick enough. Overall easy as to handle
Surge gay dating
With so many dating sites on the market atm this one is fresh faced and deserves your attention. Less expensive rate than Grindr, get on there fellas, note there’s no free ride here, if you have any prospective matches, you have to be a paid member to see them
App
I love this app
Hi
Hi
Great new app.
Great new app, easy to uze, with heaps of hot guys to choose from.
Technical failure
App completely died on me 5th August. The images displays are blank. Profile swipes piled are blank and see through. Like list, some are black and some are blur image. Report message direct to admin delays from the network connection. I quit Surge.
Was asked to write a review
So, I’m writing this review because the app told me if I wrote a positive review to help them “attract more people for” me, they’d give me premium for free :p So, here goes nothing. Good app, 10/10 would get freemium again.
