What people like
- It keeps your secrets safe from prying eyes
- Very easy to use and set up
- The interface is clean and simple
What they complain about
- Support never actually helps
- Ads interrupt you constantly
- You lose everything if you forget your code
Great app
Highly recommend this app. Very very easy to use and keeps files safe.
EVERYTHING IS GONE!!!!
I HAVE HAD THIS APP FOR YEARS AND ALL PICS ARE GONE! I HAVE REACHED OUT TO SUPPORT 3 TIMES AND NOT A SINGLE RESPONSE!!!
I really wish they did this
The renaming of evry clip would be peak. Especially putting them in order due to name. I recorded a video thru the app and it let me name it but if I add a video myself it’s just labeled as video and random number. I don’t like that. Besides that it’s an amazing app
Perfect almost
Works great seems very easy to use and very secure
A few things that could be improved
It’s a good app for security but there needs to be improvements within the app itself. For one you need to be able to name each picture or video uploaded. Simply relying on the designated number given to it when it is uploaded is not beneficial to locating the file when you are looking for it. Additionally it would be better to be able to move each picture or video into a spot that you want within the folder.
My favorite app
Great app - great support.
No response for forgotten password
I have used the app dev’s site to contact them multiple times about helping me reset a pin because I forgot mine and they refuse to respond
Geolocation
The application requested access to geolocation. How can I see the location of the photos I took?
Notes not working
As another reviewer has pointed out, you are unable to add to notes at the bottom of a page.
Data transfer issue
Good app but if you move from one phone to another, data transfer is hard work. It will be nice if they can do back up on the cloud
Best secret folder
I absolutely love this app. It works perfectly for what I needed it for.
Doesn’t work on IPad w/ IOS26
IOS sizing button obscures the Apps add folder button on top left corner. Emailed the software builders-no response.
Don’t worry with iOS 18
Don’t work with ios18
Help me!
I loved the app until I haven’t used it in awhile and can’t remember my pattern! Now I can’t access it at all!
Needs a couple improvements
I’ve had this app for a few years now and it works well for the most part. The most frustrating part is if there are main files inside a folder and you click one file to view then click back to return to said folder it starts all the way at the top of the folder and not on the last clicked file. This is very frustrating when there are potential hundreds of files in a folder. It would also be nice if I can organize the files/rename as I see fit. Having the ability to create folders within folders would be a nice feature. As a paying subscription based app I think these are improvement that will make using this app flow much more easily.
Bring back video repeat!
This is one of the best apps out there. I’ve had it for years without issue and enjoy both the interface and functionality. Wish they would bring back the looping of saved videos though.
Severa
I accidentally uninstalled the app from my device, I went to redownloaded it back I can’t login to my account anymore. it only Allowed me to create a new password and take to an empty room. I lost everything I had saved. I feel incident happened all the time, people would be able to get their account back.
GIF images doesnt function
Its surprising that the GIF format images don’t play In a loop as they in other applications. Please look into it and ensure to work on ensuring the GIF based images too function which then can be stored and viewed at one’s convenience.
Updated Oct 2022
**GLITCH** Since the new update I can’t write further down the page when I’ve wrote a list the keyboard stays in the way. Before this it was a great app.
Decent
It was not a good idea!:1.too loud2.Could not open the app after two uses
So nice.
I was confused. Not now it’s actually comforting knowing that my items are safe.
Just like all the other apps now.
Was good years ago, but now all it does is crash and when it's not crashing it's popin up adds every time you go out of a window or click on something. Then when you look at the price they are charging...Sad, what a rip off.
Export needed !
Hi. It’s a good and straightforward app and the price is good, but it badly needs an export or transport back to photos option!
Problems
I used this app as a diary, but after a while I ran out of space. I don’t want to pay for it, so I don’t know what to do now.
To Roberta
It has to be done off a laptop for full control. Alternatively you have to back up to cloud services with limited access to files.
Love it
I would love them to remove the red new icon on the new photos or video that we add and also I would love them to fix it to be able to go back to the same photo that we were looking for so we can continue searching and not go to the first photo on top of the folder when we press back. Also, on the videos, we would like to go to the next video. Without Going Back Other than that, the app is perfect.
Lost photos
I got a new phone and restore the app. All of my photos and videos are gone.
Filter Folders
I love this app and it’s really great but the only thing let’s it down that you cannot filter folders alphabetically and photos/videos chronologically.
HELP!!!
My safer logs me in but as i get into my Videos&Photos, it automatically logs me out to my phones home screen. I referenced the app and switched off and and switched on my whole phone but however it is keep on lagging. Please I need help as at least I need to get out the photos form the app.
Share location
Don’t like the fact you can’t share location securely
Jay
Need help got a new phone
Files disappeared
All my secure info disappeared from both my devices. Pictures of critical info!! I even wrote and asked for help. No response has been found.
Not a secret
It’s not really a secret folder with a huge pad lock symbol on the front. Can we please have the basic app look back. So the app/folder doesn’t look like a lock box. Kinda defeats the purpose.
Pattern forgot
I forgot my pattern please solve my problem I am very sad
App not working
Since the iOS 16 update this app has stopped working could you please sort it out, my subscription are up to date
Great product
Easy to use great covet and nobody will realize it’s a vault.
Frustrating ads
Unnecessary ads. Whenever i tried to look Up for qibla direction or prayer timing it wil open up the frustrating ads first than after a long wait you can go to your desired task. If they keep runing these ads i'll thinking to delete this out of my phone.
Fan
Excellent app
Idea Good
Ads make this almost unusable: paragraphs about Dubai obscuring any process
Good bit of kit but too expensive
I would give this 5 stars but for the ongoing cost. If it was one payment of £13.49 I would purchase it but £13.49 per year is gilding the Lilly. It is not worth that when there are just as good alternatives. Sorry but pricing has meant a no no for me.
I like the ability to keep my photos private
I am enjoying the privacy I have
Worked well until upgrade
I have had this app for a very long time. I reached the file size limit so I had to upgrade. Now that I did I'm unable to upload videos. Says something about iCloud and then to contact RVstudios but no contact information. Not sure what to do.
Memories
It's good for keeping secret photos
Sounded Good
Great idea but app is unstable. Sometimes just shutting down, unable to delete blank pics it created, temperamental in how many pics it will import. Pity
How can I send photos and videos
Hi, can anyone tell me how to send photos and videos once I have saved them in here on WhatsApp??
Like a charm
My daughter picked up my phone and my heart stopped as she was "messin around". Whew! Works like a charm.
Too much whining for unwanted subscription.
When it is avoidable, I will not "subscribe" to software. Regardless of how convenient that is for software companies, it can be a user nightmare. Especially in this kind of app! What happens if your subscription expires? Are the contents lost? Are they locked away forever? Who knows? SELL me the software, or get lost.
Great folder
Very good app
Dummy screen issue
I was checking in settings. When clicked on to show dummy screen on start up ,I was trying and really worked well. When someone opens the folder it ll show as folder is empty. But the problem is that I can go to settings to change back to previous mode where I can access all my pics and videos. Kindly update how it can b done as the only option I finds is 'folder is empty click on exit to exit app '.
So so
Not so good
