All my stuff is gone
Every picture and video is gone. It constantly asks me to log in to upgrade but when I enter my emails it says user doesn’t exist. My pin logs me in but none of my files are there. I lost everything

It simply does not work. Very frustrating
Great app but…..
Wonderful app to store information securely on your phone, worked really well for the last 4 to 5 years. I haven’t had any issues with it. This most recent update, however, has been a big problem, have lost a bunch of notes with all important information created over the last two or three months - I usually back up my stuff every few months, however, this update has erased or deleted these notes and I can’t find them anymore. Hopefully there will be some resolution at this soon. Have complained 3 to 4 times already…

Lost all the notes which were saved prior to update
Update on 11/25: Team has fixed my Notes issues and I can see all my lost data. Thanks a lot for the update. Update as of 29th September: it’s been almost a month they updated app and the issue is not yet resolved. There is no clarity on TAT from developers. I had saved ton of notes with many important information. But after the update only pics and videos were restored but lost all notes which were saved. Please let me know how it didn’t sync.

App freezes after the update
After the App open, it gets stuck on a white screen.

I used to believe this was the #1 in the folder locking app category. I went off to the military for 6 years but I wasn’t living under a rock, so I don’t understand the direction these people chose to go—the app was perfect how it was before. You can’t even set up a pin anymore? That’s ridiculous. I had to set up a physical password to access my account again but doing so made me lose the previously encrypted data associated to the old password. So now I just have an empty slate. I don’t even know if I should keep this app any more. I trusted in these people to keep my stuff safe, now all my stuff is gone.

Loved it until the updated version came out
I loved Folder Lock, until the update. Some of my photos simply are not there. In addition, the photos are not in the order I had spent a lot of time organizing. The videos appear to be there, but again not in the order I had spent time organizing. Looking for alternative app unless Folder Lock can resolve these issues. On Sept 7, 2024, I received an email from “Michelle” advising an update would becoming out in 2-3 days that would correct the issues. It is now September 28th with no update. Please advise. Thank you. UPDATE: As of November 11, 2024, there is still no update to resolve the situation. As stated above, I was advised an update would be provided in 2-3 days. Still waiting. They advise not to uninstall, but not sure how much longer I can trust an update is coming. On October 18,I received an email advising the update should be ready in two weeks. STILL WAITING! I am losing confidence in this app and company.

Its been twice that I lost all my information
Back in 2024 I lost everything I had secured in this app. I gave a second t try (paying) and today it wont let me log in. It’s the same thing again, meaning that I lost everything. Guess I’ll be looking for another more reliable app.
App not working after new update
After the latest update, the app isn't working properly. It reaches the face unlock screen, but after unlocking, only a white screen appears, and nothing else opens.
Lost my info
Had this app on my phone, went to open it and everything changed to an updated version. Two pictures were transferred over and all the rest of my stuff did not and is now lost. Sent emails to company about this issue and no one has replied.

The error which I’m not sure has ever been fixed leaves imported videos with excessively loud audio out of no where
Was good, is now unreliable.
This app works as advertised. The update didn’t add much in terms of user experience. After the major update many users lost access to their data for about a week. When I was able to access my pictures again all the images and videos from the old version had to be “migrated”, which I assume was necessary for the app to function. Unfortunately, this scrambled all the images in my albums by failing to preserve their metadata, especially the date. Re-ordering them will be a major headache. The point being, the devs are a little reckless. I’m worried this could be a bigger issue in the future. EDIT: I ended up making an account for folder lock 10 to use the sync feature. This once again caused my images to be scrambled through the migration process. This is Incredibly frustrating, as I have spent hours unscrambling them at this point. Furthermore, there seems to be no way to get data to sync across devices, at least on the free version (even though it’s supposedly possible). The WiFi transfer feature is incredibly slow and tedious to use. The stability of the app has become even worse as well. Unfortunately, this is still the best app for price and ease of use. Other apps charge ridiculous subscriptions for basic functionality, or disorganize your data when uploading. So I’ll have to put up with it for now.

This app used to be great. Now I cannot access any of my folders. Every time I open the app and log it, it just goes to a white screen and never loads. I have a lot of items that will be lost if I cannot get the app to work. Very disappointed.

Data recovery issue
Opened the app on IPhone and found the photos intact but upon recovery the pictures vanished. Realised you need to take a premium - bought that too, but did not find the data recovery option. Deleted and installed the app again, but now the app is new and didn’t show an option of data recovery as shown on YouTube tutorials There must be some way or somewhere the data can be restored Urgent response required

It was good until it wasn’t
I have had everything stored on this app for my work and home for many years. I even paid for the app so that the ads wouldn’t pop up. I would like a refund because I am no longer able to access my information. This has been going on for several months and all they say is don’t delete the app. The app on my end was already deleted before they said not to and when asked what to do no response given. They have ignored every single email that I have sent to them. Please refund me my money that I paid for this app that I cannot use.
