Latest update
App won’t open with newest update please fix guys I’ve had this app since 2017 my life is scheduled in it
Ads in app are misleading!
I routinely get an add in this app designed to look as if my phone is infected with a virus from “Apple security alert”. There is a teeny tiny “continue to app” link in the upper right corner of this ad…so it’s definately IN this app. While I understand why they have ads in the app THIS particular ad is very misleading and dangerous! This makes me question the integrity and what the app is allowing in its functions. I messaged the developer weeks ago with no response from them.
The Best
Been excellent for me over last several years. The only thing is the continued full page ads that have been showing up over the past year everytime you log on. I guess it's their way of forcing you to purchase the full version.
Just stopped working
Ive been using this app for 10 years. The app recently stopped working completely but there had been time before where it erased some data. Now it erased everything over 10 years and wont let me put anything new on my calendar. I enjoyed it the first few years because of the cute stickers.
Ads are a distraction
I downloaded this for about 10 minutes. The ads thew me off quite often. However, a calendar is for organizing, and having those types of distractions isn’t good for this type of tool. The ease of using the app is about a 6/10 due to natural functions not feeling natural. It takes a while to process what to click to figure out how to use the features. However, syncing my personal calendar was easy, and if you’re more patient than me, it’s a good basic tool to use.
Love it!
I’ve used this for a long time -simple but effective. My favorite!
Obnoxious Ads
Full-screen. Porn. Everything that’s wrong with ads is well represented here.
Love it!
I love this calendar! I just wish I could share with my family
Does not sync between iPhone 14 andiPad Gen9
I’ve used this calendar for many years and love it. However, lately, it will not synch when I put an event in the calendar on my iPhone 14… it does not automatically appear on my iPad Gen9. However, if I put an event on the iPad, it DOES appear on the phone. I most often have the phone with me on doctor’s appts, etc,… not my iPad. How can I get it to synch from iPhone to iPad?
Plse look into this 🥺
Is there a glitch in the app? Now EVERY time I switch from another app back to aCal, I get a pop up ad… very inconvenient. Plse bring it back to the way it was. It was perfect and I love using it. Thank you.
The best calendar app
I love this app it's very useful and you can pick your own pictures for the calendar
No longer works!
I love this calendar for everything. Over the last few months though it has completely stopped keeping my appointments. I click on the app, get an ad, then finally get to the calendar and log in my appointment. But it doesn’t save the appointment. I would say it was completely useless, but since the ads still work fine I would now say it’s LESS than useless. Deleting this app today!
Great app but
this really is a great app but a little hard to navigate. If you take your time going through the setup, you should be fine. I don’t see a dark mode option. The font on the calendar gets harder to read with pic of the month.
It’s ok
Used this app for years for my calendar. But recently they changed and instead of quick 3-10 seconds adds whenever you open the app, it’s now 30+seconds long. Because of this I will be switching calendars. The long adds don’t help make life more efficient when you need to check you calendar quickly!
The only thing preventing me from upgrading to paid version
Is the fonts are too large and don’t fit into the squares in the month view. Defeats the purpose of having the month view if you can’t look at the appointment title at a glance
Great features, easy to use, smooth layout
Very easy to use and the layout/color scheme/set up of the calendar page makes it simple to find what you are looking for on the calendar. Not too many varying colors or distractions. Easy to add updates, keep track of my schedule.
Pornographic adds
The app itself is nice, and functions easily/well. Before being able to use the free version it plays a short add. However, there have recently been several times where the adds are girls touching themselves and otherwise sexually explicit. It is completely inappropriate!
One problem
Love the app. It would be perfect except all of my info on my calendar erases. It’s happed three times already. I’ve had the app for more than a year.
Too many advertisements
I have used this app for years, and until recently I loved it. The duration and frequency of advertisements have become unbearable. Time to find another calendar app.
It used to be good
I used to LOVE this calendar until they started popping adds up in my face as I was trying to make appointments. Uh! So annoying 😡
Simple and easy to use and pretty too
I’ve tried other calendar apps but this is the one I kept. It’s attractive and very simple and straightforward to use. I use the little graphics to show me at a glance what’s on the docket for each date I have an entry, eg; Dr. Appt, hair stylist, dentist, house cleaning, lunch date, etc. I’ve been using this calendar app for several yrs now with no complaints. It’s kind of fun.
Ads are vulgar and dist
The last few times I have opened up the app I had to watch a girl pleasure herself for the Swivc app. The company will not return my emails.
It is beatufiul except one missing part
I really like this calendar but there is only one flaw. If it has a feature showing 12 months in one page with to do list it would be the best calendar . I would like to see whole year to do list at glance. It would be great.
Annoying
I have been using this calendar for over 8 years, prob over 10. Loved the calendar, hadn’t had an issue. However, this last yr, they started Awesome Calendar 2 & everytime I open the app there is a popup for the new calendar. I looked into the new calendar. I do jot like the new calendar. I have been using this one & don’t want to change! This app doesn’t care about that though. They keep sending this pop up everytime I open the app. I can’t see my calendar right away, because when i try to click the X, it takes me to the Calendar 2 download… Almost everyyyy time! I don’t have time for this when I’m trying to quickly access my schedule. Its very annoying & I am about to find a completely new calendar to use, without ads or interruptions. I thought this ad crap would eventually go away, but its been about a yr & it hasn’t. Sick of it!
Used to be Awesome
Downloaded IOS 17.0.1 last night and LOST ALL MY CALENDAR ENTRIES!
HAS EVERYTHING!
This is the best of the best! I love how it picks up activities and todo’s from other apps. I can keep a running day planner or just a regular calendar by flipping back and forth and what I want to view. This calendar can be simple or detailed to fit what works for you.
Inappropriate ads
Completely inappropriate ad for a kid friendly app. Will be deleting after many years of use if that type of ads continue
How can I remove weather function?
I don’t want weather function
still need improvement
The app is good but there is still lots of improvements needed. The way to try entering an event is difficult at times. I shouldn’t have to go to another Calendar app to link event onto this app, because it is not that user friendly
Upgrade?
I paid for the upgrade ut still get the commercials.
KKG
This calendar is perfect except for the new adds. Better than any other calendars even the one that comes with the phone.
What happened!
I can’t even access my calendar anymore because the ads are blocking the calendar. I’m so frustrated! It was a great app, I would purchase if I could access it!
Date on icon
Would of got 5 stars is the icon had the current date.
Ads
The adds are annoying, might be enough to make me stop using this app soon
Used to be better…
It’s a nice calendar app and one I’ve used for many years but it’s gone downhill unfortunately. After the last update all the notes I had on calendar, important ones too just disappeared and now I have no idea! I’m so disappointed because the way the app looks and inputting worked well but this is a major flaw.
I love it !
I love this version of calendar even more than the new one I just love the stickers and how I can keep everything organized!
Tones
Since the last update the tones I select keep going back to the default. Very annoying as I use different tones for different reasons.
Good app but just lost datas..
I used it for many years. Great app and easy to use. However after the latest update, all datas are gone. It would be nice if you can improve and test it before release the next. By the way, thanks for creating this app. I’m still continuing to use it and support you guys. Cheers!
Ads!
I have been using this app for a while and within the past week the ads have started to pop up before I can use it.....what the heck is going on!!!!
Too many adds
Anyone know any better calendar apps that are free?
Calendar
This is much better than any calendar on any other phone. Very useful for setting agendas and making it my personal calendar.
What Happened?
Use to be a great calendar App. Now I can’t get into because adds are blocking access to it. So good bye!
Very good app but.....
This has been a great app so far but since getting a new phone I’ve noticed the option that lets you display the number of the day it is when it’s closed seems to get stuck sometimes until you open the app again then it will work for a while then you check to see what day it is number wise without actually having to open the app and I will notice it is definately not that day. For instance I went to see if it was the 1st today or the 30th today and it actually said it was the 14th I know it certainly isn’t that day in the month. I don’t know if it’s a problem with my phone or the app but if it’s with the app please fix otherwise great app👍🏻.
ADS ARE ANNOYING
I never had this the first year of using the app now one starts every time I open app. Sometimes I need to get to the information fast. I don’t care about games you are advertising! Will be looking for another Calendar app.
Really liked but too many ads now
Have enjoyed using this app for the past couple years. You can colour code and star entries. Lately though, there have been wayyyy too many full screen ads which are really taking away from the experience. If this continues, will be deleting app and downloading another.
OUTSTANDING
Apple needs to learn from your developers. Their calendar is terrible. Yours, OUTSTANDING.
No way to see if I would like it
Very first click to try this app and I get a pop-up to see if I want to unlock premium for 5 days. I have no idea so I click. Immediately get an advertisement video and no way to back out. 2 seconds in to see if it's a good app and I'm already turned off. No thanks!
Like app
Have had this app for over 2 years now. It is good for what I need it for. Would prefer the repetitive events to be free and I would be happy 😊
Ads every time
I shouldn't have to see an ad every time I open something as a basic as a calendar.
Please please fix
This calendar app has been crashing quite frequently lately
