Everything is gone
I’ve used myCal for 7 years and I loved it. A few days ago, all events disappeared overnight. Everything is gone. I'm devastated. (And before someone would smartly say ohh did you check if the calendars are enabled? Yes.. yes they are.)

This is a program I have on my phone on my iPad and it’s wonderful for sorting out my lodge meetings.
Pop up review
Been annoyed with the review pop up every time.
It’s pretty great.
My one problem is sometimes you can’t delete repeating events. It reappears after deletion. Otherwise fine application. I use it every day. I like the options to make things different colors.
Poor changes recently
Used to be very good. Now once you add a colour to a day next time you use the calendar the colours have changed days or disappeared. Also when you save an event for one day when you come Back it is spread Over two days. Have changed them back over ten times now and they keep changing back to the wrong days. Emailed support a few times. No response

Cannot adjust
I entered several re-occurring events in the calendar. These events are for one day only, and the-occur each month. After a few days use, these events now span 2 DAYS, and the calendar will not allow me to tap on event and adjust?? Each reoccurring event is marked with a @ symbol. I like the ability to review my monthly events at a glance, but if this glitch cannot be fixed, then it is worthless to me and a waste of $5
Why?
Another app that requires access to the default calendar app of iOS, but why? I want to find a calendar and planner app that can replace the standard app, because the pne from Apple can‘t do pretty much anything. Instead this here just works on top. I don‘t get it. So far I worked with miCal, which doesn‘t need access to the Apple app and obviously seems to be a real calendar, but it lacks vital features. It is so unfortunate, because this jere looked very promising.
Perfect
This calendar is vastly better to see and use than the one that comes on my iPad and iPhone. I am very happy with it and had it for a few years now I think. I have only had one problem, that turned out to be my own mistake, and the support was very swift and helpful. Would highly recommend.
Not a fan
It is hard to touch and see entries. The alerts section is convoluted and unnecessarily complex

I like it very much. You have to pay for each but it still better that having to ay for a subscription every month or year.
Changing preferences
I’m having problems with changing the days. I like my calendars to start on a Monday. The first day of the week.

Hi , i just installed the app and it says i have to give permission to access my calendar and i want to di that but when i tap open settings to give access it doesn’t have the calendar option its only the siri and language , what should I do:)
Brilliant App
My whole life is planned on this App . It’s so easy to use, love the colour coding and the different views i.e week, seven days, month etc. I only use this calendar. I never use the the calendar on my iPhone not a patch on myCal
Everything disappeared again
This is the second time this has happened my whole yearly diary disappeared. I use this app for everything work appointments, day to day things, schooling, holidays reminders and it’s completely wiped again. Will be deleting and using another app
Special features
This app has many extra features I use often. It’s very well done, especially for a free app! One feature I use often is the color coding. Although it would be helpful it was easier. For example to make all doctor appointments stand out I might color them purple. Doing that now requires trying to match the setting of the color slides each time. Makes it hard to be consistent. Not a huge problem but some basic color buttons to just click would be easier. Also, the repeat feature is not easy or intuitive. But with a little work it does well. Overall this is a great app!
Getting worse with time
Every update they do they take away features from the free version. Very disappointed and in the verge of looking for something better
Ok i guess
I have had problems with getting alerts from this calendar. I changed the colors on the calendar so past days were a different color and the weekends would not change. (Weekends have a different setting and even with changes to the setting they would not change) i like that i can look at the calendar and can see the appointment and time without having to open each event. I also like that when i put in a task it follows me from day to day until i mark it complete. Hoping they can help me with alerts and reminders as i get neither one right now.

I absolutely hate this calendar. It’s very hard to manipulate and manage. It should have a default setting so that you can start all over. It’s just difficult.
Wish it had widgets…
Calendar Planner is truly a great app. The only downside that I have with it is that there a no widgets. At this point with iOS calendar/planner apps, widgets are pretty much a standard inclusion. Why? Widgets are genuinely helpful and informative. Maybe the developer will include them someday. Still, Calendar Planner is a great app.
Apple Watch?
I would use this app if it had Apple Watch support.

I’ve been using this app for a while and it’s been good until today, when every single event on my calendar disappeared. Everything. All gone. I can’t message through the email log either, so absolutely nothing I can do. Gutted.
Excellent app and excellent support
A few teething problems, but soon sorted thanks to the excellent support. Paid for the Pro for the weekly view and I'm delighted!
Lost everything
Been using this app for some years now. Totally dependent on it for appointments etc. Checked it this morning and it’s completely blank. I’ve lost everything.
Love it BUT NEEDS IMPROVEMENTS
I love the app and have been using it for several years now! The only annoying feature is every time the app has an update, it resets your purchase and offers you a free version with adds. Now this would have not been a problem to restore the purchases from Time to time but this has been happening every week now! I have 2 phones and have to reset the purchases on both. Can you please fix the issue so I don't have to reset purchases every time u come up with the minor update? 2. I can’t seem to fix the colour for the day if I make a custom colour , it seems to reset to original given colors every time u try to colour mark the new day. It maybe my fault due to lack of knowledge on how to do this, if this is the case can you please help me? If it’s not, can you please add the function of crating and saving custom Made colors? Many thanks in advance
Not what it seems.
Bought it for the $3.99 price but that only opens a page with 4 more sections to purchase for 0.99 each before you can actually USE it as a calendar. Pretty colors but not honest about the actual full price.
MyCal App new version
I have just downloaded the App as I have never. Been really satisfied with the iOS7 default App and apart from a few minor "new user" errors I'm pretty happy with it. Even an email sent to the Support desk was responded to in a very short space of time which is always encouraging when your playing with something new 😉👍. Many thanks for that John.

Needs fixing big time!!
I recently purchased this app and it is a totally waste of money!! To many bugs to be fixed! First of all you can’t make the days of the week bigger among other issues I had with it and they are way to small!! I email them and he gave me directions on how to fix it supposibly but ofcourse I think he knew it did not work I told him I tried it like 4 times and it stayed the same. He kept on saying and giving the same instructions I told him didn’t work! And did not want to refund me back! And was very rude! I would never purchase again and would not recommend!! Find other calendars that I’m sure are better and so is the customer service!!
Calendar History Disappeared
I relied on this calendar to track past visits to Doctors, Blood Pressure, oil changes, etc. Recently the calendar erased all history. Many of us would be willing to pay more to keep our history.
Glitchy
I thought this app was going to be “the one” but unfortunately it isn’t. I love how everything can be customized, but other than that, that’s it. The months are glitchy, the speed is soooo slow, at times it would randomly freeze and all of a sudden I’m 6 years back rather than viewing the current month. Even after that, I tried to close the entire app, and then it froze. I hope this gets fixed as this was not a free app. I paid for the pro and all the extra bells and whistles. Unfortunately for now, I’m disappointed in this app.

No where in the introduction of this app, does it say you have to try it, to me this is false advertising just so you can say you had a certain amount of people download your app

Bad Tasks Design!
Generally a nice looking calendar but has a major design floor - one cannot see the tasks in the Month View without having to tap on a word ‘task’ that appears on the said day. This alone made me delete the app - the whole idea of a month view is that you should’ve able to read everything that is on it without having to do extra tapping actions!

I have used this app for years, as I don’t like the calendar that Apple phones have. Not only is the app brilliant but the customer support is great too. Twice I’ve had to ask for help with something (once an app question, once something that was an iPhone setting so not even their “issue” as such) and both times they were quick to respond and solved the issue. I purchased the pro pack (I believe this was £2.99 but I may be wrong as it was a while ago), it’s well worth it as the features are handy.

Annoyed
I’m annoyed I got this app about a year ago so I purchased all the bells and whistles and now I cannot use them even thought I tried to restore my purchases.
It's coming along
I like the way you can colour code entries and import a country's national holidays. The appearance of the original Apple calender app is better because it's easier to see at a glance. I also prefer the original Apple app because the buttons to toggle between day, week, and month views are better. Also, I like the opportunity to add notes and related pertinent data to an entry, something currently not available in this app. I recognize it's a work in progress, and is on it's way to becoming a very good app.
