You probably already know what this review is about
So I get it game devs it’s just more money to update the app to modern expectations, but you alienate your previous fanbase with this. I don’t want you to throw away the work you did updating this game to a newer versions either though because that would be a waste. What if you just got the old version to run on modern iOS and then uploaded it to the App Store, it’s probably not as profitable but it couldn’t hurt. I just don’t want to come off too negative as I know you guys probably worked really hard on this. I hope whoever is reading this wether it be the devs or just some guy has a great rest of their day. Thank you for reading my stupid review.
Fun but could be better
Game is fun but there is a small banner at the bottom of the screen for ads which is kind of annoying, I haven’t found a way to get rid of it, even through purchase. But the game itself is fun to play. The characters are adorable and I enjoy the house building, some of the furniture doesn’t feel like it matches the rest of the room no matter which of the three designs you choose but still it’s a fun game.

I used to play this game all the time and it was really fun but then years later I remembered the game and wanted to play it again cause I remember it being really good and when i played it I was so disappointed the game changed so much, it’s so much boring now and now it just feels like. A typical “buy new furniture for your house” game

They Changed…
I used to love this game a few years ago, and when I got my new phone it didn’t transfer over. I went to look for it and found…this. It’s the same game as before, but they added the match three or whatever you want to call it. It use to just be a little family with a little house that you could expand and add stuff to by doing tasks like adding brooms, certain bedrooms, etc., etc.. I hope it goes back to the original design soon, because it was better then. I will continue to watch this game to see if it does go back to its original form.

Ive been waiting quite a long time for more room to come, the game overall is good but the waiting time for new rooms is taking too long i’ve been waiting since last year, when will they arrive

Buggy
I would have given 4 stars before I updated the game. Now it’s buggy. I can’t change furniture style (only wallpaper for some reason). Also, I paid to get rid of the ads. Now there’s a permanent one on the bottom of the screen that is incredibly annoying because I accidentally tap it all the time and I get led to the App Store. Please FIX.

What happened?
So just 10 minutes ago I suddenly remembered playing this game from when I was younger, and I wanted to revisit it and play it again. Took awhile to find it again, but when I finally did I was extremely disappointed. I remember this game used to be really fun, but now all the fun creativity was taken out of it and has turned into a game that can make them money. I really miss the old game and was really looking forward to playing it and my hopes are completely shattered. :(
Good game
Enjoying it very much. I’ve started the 300 levels and have unlocked a bunch of characters and rooms. Only gripe I have is the old man and the sea. I got all the items for that and wasn’t impressed with the reward.

this game is really fun, but there’s a major problem. the new update-? It’s a little...eh. I loved the game because of its adorable characters, simple design, and fun tasks but it changed now. (for all who don’t know, this used to be a game with tiny characters helping you fix a room of every house). i wish it stayed the same and not like every other family design game. :( Am i a little disappointed? Yes. Do i miss the old version? Of course. Do i think this game could possibly improve? Yes!
Dissapointed
When I was little (I don’t remember when exactly), this game was kind of a defining part of my life. At some point I slowly stopped playing, as kids tend to do with their misc. hobbies, and eventually deleted it. Last weekend I remembered the game and looked it up. I was a little offput by the changed graphics initially, but ended up getting the game anyway. I got in and the game was immediately so grindy; granted, I think it was a little bit so when I originally played it, but not to this level. I also noticed that the game is much more uniform and generic now; where I used to be able to place items wherever I wanted and buy a variety of different things, it’s now more average, like homescapes or word villa or whatever, where instead you have to pick a specific spot and choose from a few very specific options. Overall, I’m dissapointed in how the game has changed. I hope the game will improve and become it’s own stand-alone game again. I would’ve rated the game 2 stars but I know that this game has much more potential than what it’s being used for.

My first view of point was that it’s boring graphic games. It’s not smooth the way I had expected. But, after a couple of levels, I have changed my mind because of the decorating house features. You should give it a try!

I have had the game for a long time now and I loved it with all my heart but the update honestly ruined it I loved the old version honestly. Now it’s just too boring to play, completely ruined. :(

I love this game, you can explore your creativity, build up your own story line (my decorating), add new characters to your home, and more! The only thing I wish was decreased is the abundance of adds.

can u guys change this game back to how it was in 2013 it was one of my fave games when i was a kid and now it’s just like any generic house game having to play a candy crush level to unlock things. it was better in 2013!! petition to change it back

This game used to be so fun, you customized it and it felt like your own, I played it when I was younger and vividly remembered how you would just play and didn't have to do any kind of homescapes puzzle thingys, it was kind of like a mini version of the sims and it was so fun, now it's just boring, I miss it and wish I could go back to the older version
Great but one thing.....
...As much as I love this game ,I wish the characters would be able to interact with the furniture. Yes I do love this game and yes I would recommend it to anyone but I wish the characters would not just walk past the couch but sit on it.All to be honest is a little more interaction between the characters and the furniture even if they just sit on a couch or sleep on a bed ,it would just make it a whole lot cuter and funnier to see them interact even with each other.this is the only thing wrong overall I love this game it is amazing 🤩.
Well, it was fun while it lasted.
This game eventually loses the kind of balance that a game needs between what the developers want out of it, and what the consumers want out of it. It needs to be challenging and yet satisfying. If you make it too obvious that the eventual goal is income for the developers, but a frustrating slog for the players with not enough payoff – that’s where you’re going to lose your customer base. Like I said, fun for the two or three days it lasted.

It’s was better before they did the change I downloaded this game about a year ago and loved it the I downloaded it again and now it’s all different!
Not a bad game
Not a bad game if you’re looking for something laid back, simple, cute setup and graphics etc. Feels pretty repetitive — not much you do that is different, you earn coins by doing easy and small tasks, and playing a similar bejeweled blitz type of game.

i wish I could give 0 stars. i used to play this game all the time and loved it, used to always go clean cobwebs from my kids rooms. was an amazing game. would’ve gave 5 stars but couldn’t because of 1 thing. i have many apps so I forgot this one was buried in a folder and I stopped playing it so it became offloaded, and I finally found it again recently and downloaded it and it’s not at all what it used to be. before you never had to match anything and the game style was completely different. i hate the new game and I really want the old one back. Don’t waste your time on this game.

I love this game so much I got it deleted it by accident and downloaded it again.that’s how fun it is .it amazing.you have your own perfect life where nothing can really go wrong.my one complaint is that for the young under 14 players it asks you to follow them on Instagram and Facebook and others
