I enjoy being able to compare similar items but it got confusing to find the right shop after comparisons.
Allowing AI-products ruins the character of Etsy!
I’m disappointed that Etsy is allowing AI-made and AI-assisted art, crafts, and other products on its site. AI is taking income away from REAL PEOPLE, REAL ARTISTS, who are trying to make an honest living, doing what they love. Allowing AI products on their platform dramatically reduces the original charm character, and appeal, which in the past was—a marketplace for original, one-of-a-kind artwork, vintage antiques, and things that are handcrafted and NOT mass produced or computer generated. I still sometimes shop at Etsy occasionally for something unique or unusual, but it’s not the same as before. Now I have to read the FINE PRINT before making a purchase in order to AVOID accidentally buying something made by AI. I like knowing that I am helping to support actual artists and small business owners with each purchase. I will NOT support people who can’t create on their own, and use AI as a crutch, which is robbing TRUE ARTISTS of their livelihood!
Not Working
Search feature not working at all... just shows a blank screen when l search anything. I know I have an old iphone but the search feature should still turn up results not just a blank screen. Unacceptable for a modern app to not be able to use as intended.

Deleted my account of 13 years. Too many fake and AI sellers that steal products from real artists. Etsy doesn’t care anymore to do anything about it. The more fake sellers they have, the better, by their standards. Shameful.
Gift Card
I had a very hard time finding where to purchase an Etsy Gift Card! The instructions told me one thing but the site another. I hope I ordered the correct item!
Too may AI
I use to love shopping on Etsy now I find too many patterns are AI and it’s getting worse should add a search that lets you put on been on Etsy for two years or more anyone that is less I’m finding it hard to trust so far I have ordered 8 crochet patterns and only 1 has not been AI
Can’t escape the algorithm
Though much about Etsy functions smoothly (actually making transactions, searching for specific items), I’ve become increasingly disenchanted by my inability to browse new-to-me areas of Etsy—different kinds of products. The algorithm is all-encompassing, inundating me with items I’ve already viewed or items very similar. This is frustrating.

Fine app that does what you want
We just need a way to block or not show certain sellers. Counterfeit items are all over the market, and I would like a way to hide the sellers that sell those products.
Trouble with credit card authorisation
Three times I tried to check out using a credit card, the authorisation box is too small that it does not show the link - therefore impossible to verify - in the end I had to pay by Apple Pay
Log out to clear notification?
Why on earth do I have to log out just to clear a notification that isn’t even there? I do enjoy shopping from the app but if this glitch persists, I’ll delete the app and so on my computer.

Etsy is a scam site
They allow sellers to peddle cheap Amazon and Temu products at a 5 to 10 times markup. I don’t trust anything on this site anymore. They have no resource to report scam pages who simply peddle cheap knockoffs at ridiculous prices. I found a page selling Amazon key chains that sold on Amazon for $6.99 and on Etsy the same thing was selling for $25.

So hard to use gift cards and unsubscribe from emails
I literally only downloaded the app to use a gift card and it took 15 attempts to actually use it, because the site has no option to use a gift card. I cried. It also tried to charge my card about 7 times for the money and doesn’t let you not add your card at checkout and forces you to create an account to actually check out. All of it was incredibly stressful, will never use again.
Stop AI Scam patterns

Hopeless, circle of doom nightmare to reset a password. Then your baskets empty and you’ve to start all over!
Shipping and handling
I wish that there was some way to combine shipping instead of each store seperate shipping. You end up paying more than what you are purchasing. Doesn’t make it a great deal.

Eine 1 als Mitteilung seit Monaten
Ich mag die App. Ich mag die Produkte und den Gedanken hinter der App. Aber ich mag nicht, dass ich in Shops schon fast doppelt bestellt hätte, weil die Einkaufsübersicht suboptimal ist. Ich mag auch nicht, dass ich jeden Artikel mit Bild bewerten „muss“, damit die Benachrichtungsanzeige im Icon verschwindet. Seit Wochen steht eine 1 oben rechts in meinem Icon, als wenn ich nich eine offene Mitteilung hätte, obwohl in der geöffneten App keine Nachricht/Mitteilung/Aufgabe zu finden ist. Viele Grüße

Way too much AI use now. Theres no quality control on AI being used to advertise product. So frustrating.
Too many AI pictures for crochet patterns
I’m sorry, but I think it should be forbidden to accept AI pictures for crochet patterns. I don’t even know if the pattern is real. When I look for a pattern, half of the patterns available have AI pictures. It shouldn’t be allowed, because the real amigurumi will never look like it.

Gift card con
Don’t buy etsy gift card through blue light, you save money initially when paying at blue light but the goods on etsy which were £185.18 went up to £200.18 because we used the gift card credit, just a big con, would have saved by just normal payment. Not using etsy anymore.
Gut, aber mit Fehlern, welche Nerven
Ich nutze Etsy seit einigen Jahren immer mal wieder. Soweit habe ich gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Was mich unfassbar nervt ist, dass die App auf dem Homebildschirm eine 1 anzeigt, wenn ich aber in die App gehe, nicht ersichtlich ist, um welche Benachrichtigung es sich handelt. Selbst nachdem ich alles geöffnet und angeklickt habe, bleibt die 1 auf dem App Icon bestehen. Hab die App deshalb gelöscht. Daher einen Stern weniger.
Nervt.
Einkäufe funktionieren ok, aber die Preisangaben sind oft irreführend. Die Suche ist schlecht. Noch nerviger ist, dass das Benachrichtigungssymbol ständig eine Zahl anzeigt, obwohl keine Benachrichtigung vorhanden ist. Selbst nach Update und Deaktivieren aller Push-Ben. aktualisiert es sich nicht.
Glitchy message issues with new update.
Firstly I love ETSY and use it a lot but after the last update it’s become really unreliable. Firstly it freezes for no apparent reason and with good network connection and secondly it keeps coming up with notification numbers on the icon when there are no messages or notifications and if there are, when read and deleted they don’t go!

I was particularly impressed by the level of personal attention and communication I received throughout the process. Rather than simply trying to make a sale, Yurii made sure I understood what the ingredient is—and what it is not—so I could make an informed decision about whether it was appropriate for my formulation. I have just ordered the product, so I can’t yet comment on its performance, but I can absolutely comment on my experience with this seller: knowledgeable, responsive, transparent and genuinely helpful. That’s exactly what I look for when purchasing cosmetic raw materials. I look forward to formulating with it and evaluating the ingredient itself.
Treats sellers terribly
The fact that you can’t opt out of off site ads once you hit a certain threshold is disgraceful and is literally stealing money out of sellers pockets. I DO NOT CONSENT TO ETSY ADVERTISING MY WORK FOR ME AND BILLING ME FOR THE PRIVILEGE. No seller wants this. Please change this setting Etsy.

Shipping is to high on a lot of things otherwise would probably order more products.

New items from favourite shops
I primarily used the etsy app on iOS to keep tabs on new items from my favourite shops. This feature has disappeared from the app and I don’t want to manually check each of my favourite shops to see if they’ve added items. I’ve searched online and it’s not just me experiencing this! Please fix this!
Etsy is Perfect
I love to support local artists instead of big box stores and everything on Etsy is so different. I do 90% of my Christmas shopping on this sight.
Orders wrong and support not helpful
Ordered a few times on Etsy but the items are poor quality or other items arrive. Contacting Etsy is pointless then if you wrote an honest review of receiving and incorrect item to warn others they deleted it

Über 50% KI-Scam Muster für Häkeln & Stricken
Ich mochte Etsy lange Zeit sehr gerne als Ressource für meine Hobbies. Leider sind in den letzten Jahren besonders im Bereich von Mustern für Häkeln, Stricken, Nähen etc zunehmend KI Muster im Umlauf, mit Fake Bewertungen und keiner Möglichkeit, die Muster in der App vor dem Kauf zu melden. Das ist insofern blöd, weil ein KI-generiertes Muster nicht zu einem mit dem Produktbild übereinstimmenden Ergebnis führt, also im Endeffekt sehr fehlleitend ist. So etwas nenne ich einen Scam. Wenn ich heutzutage nach Häkelmustern für Plüschtiere schaue, sind mehr als die Hälfte der mir angezeigten Muster KI-generiert, und nicht als solches gekennzeichnet. Allerdings war Etsy bei meinem letzten Fehlkauf/Reinfall auf einen Scam sehr kulant und erstattete mir mein Geld zurück. Hätte diese Plattform striktere Regeln und Kennzeichnung von KI-Inhalten, dann würde meine Bewertung sicherlich besser ausfallen.
