Design & Layout
So happy I can see trends at my fingertips and can opt to take a deep dive on a weather news article if necessary.
Unreliable and conflicting
I don’t understand how this app gets such a good rating! I can’t plan anything based on it’s forecasts. The hourly doesn’t even agree with the radar?
Work
Does not work sometimes
Humidity
You almost tell me everything else but what time I get out of bed but you don’t report on the humidity level; a critical piece of information for people who suffer with migraines, arthritis etc
Nope.
Overheats my phone at least once a day. ANNOYING.
The wether network
Good too many things though 😳
Nope
Currently sitting outside right now, in my chair, looking at the sky and all these dark clouds the radar map though says it’s clear…this app is inaccurate
Update
The new update last week makes the search function in the app not work.
Pretty Awful
Other than the fact that it’s rarely accurate (granted, it’s weather so that’s bound to be the case) but the amount of ads is just diabolical. I’m trying to check the forecast and temperature for the day and an ad pops up on my screen and literally takes 20 seconds to display the exit icon so I can remove the ad and see the forecast. Just corporate greed at this point. Of course you’d have to pay to get no ads. So stupid. Literally pick any other weather app at this point. Or even just get Google to tell you the forecast. At least there you won’t be riddled with ads or nonsense.
Not horrible
Hello. If you are wondering if you should get this app I would say it would be way more accurate than the other weather app. If you are trying to make plans they tell you how the temperature would be. The bad part is that OFTEN the temperature is VERY wrong at times, it could say sunny, but literally thunderstorms or, thunderstorms and rain when it is very hot and sunny. Dependable but you can’t commit to anything without knowing how it will really be. The really important facts are the way at the bottom, which bummed me out. But you can be happy with it or not. I would say go for it!✌️I don’t have to many problems with ads so…!

Constant climate alarmism
Fairly accurate weather forecasting, and radar/map layers are handy. But I just cannot stand the news videos/articles they put out. Filled with relentless climate alarmism and constant adverts. Also, why do I need AI in a weather app to tell me when I need to put on a sweater. Switching to another app just for these reasons. Tell me the weather, without trying to brainwash into thinking the world is ending tomorrow.
App is pretty BUT
While the app isn’t too bad all, the weather forecasting is absolutely abysmal! Rarely does it get it right.
RELAX
MF ads everywhere is sooooo gross. Straight garbage.
Latest 2026 update very poor
The app is great for accurate weather in your town. The latest update has made it impossible to check the weather anywhere outside of your precise location. The “ad free” link is directly behind the search bar and you can’t search without clicking the option.

Unreliable
Features
Would like to see pollen and air quality information added. Also, area forecast discussions would be nice as well. Just downloaded, so will see how the accuracy is. Good app so far!
At least it’s consistent
… Consistently wrong during summers that is. In my area it incorrect during the summer by a minimum of 3 degrees and often for or five. I know it’s weather but come on, pretty much every day has been wrong
Widget Broken
The app widget no longer works
Sabrina
This app is the best ! Saves me from so much stress because I can see the weather and what’s happening wnd can plan accordingly
Completely non functional
Holy wow this is the worst app i’ve ever used. The ads load so slowly and while they’re loading the app is completely unusable and glitchy. I can’t scroll down on the hourly, 7 day, or 14 day forecast without the app completely freaking out and glitching. Awful.
“Leaders of Tomorrow”
I am a 75 year old woman who barely knows “how” to use electronics in general. I’m extremely happy to see our schools introducing electronics, namely Computers & Cellphones, training. By the time kids are in middle school they have already a wonderful ground base understanding on this technology! As they get older, the training even gets more intense. Computers & Cellphone were not available until late 1990’s or even early 2000’s. How I wish I knew more so I get get the most out of my tools! I’m praying that the school systems continue the intensive training on all types of electronic technology, especially Computers! Young people are truly our “ leaders of tomorrow!” It’s vitally important that we keep up the “Good Work!” America is destined as far as our imaginations & brains will take us! Ads force opening a page in Safari
The app was really quite decent, even with the ads. Recently though, it started having ads that force redirects and opens a page on your Safari when trying to scroll down, without even touching the ad itself. Just touching the page in the app to move the page down opens your Safari such as for an Amazon product. That makes this app almost unusable since just trying to check the weather shouldn’t have the risk of that happening. It almost feels like those sites with malware. I expected better controls than allowing advertisers to do that through the weather app.
Ruined a great app with intolerable ads, forecasts now inaccurate
I’ve had this weather app for years and it’s been super accurate. We affectionately called it my voodoo weather app because it was so good! Now, the ads are extremely hard to deal with, and I’m sad to say that the accuracy is gone. No one wants to check their weather app first thing in the morning and wake up to an intrusive pop-up ad that engulfs your entire screen in a bright white light! To top it off, the “X” to close out the screen rapidly moves from one corner to the other, so you effectively get to play a video game the moment you wake up—almost like they’re trying to trick you into clicking on the ad. No one in their right mind would click on one of these invasive, garbage ads. Thanks Weather Network. Next, they added the endless Temu ads for ridiculous t-shirts and “clothing” at “90% off”, modeled by scantily clad individuals. Great job, Weather Network. I get it, they had to rebuild their app after being “hacked”. I’m sure that had nothing with the endlessly-running Chinese ads. But once the app was up and running again, it was never the same. It seems they are guessing and/or copying/pasting multiple hours/days’ forecasts. Too bad, it used to be a solidly reliable app. RIP Weather Network.
Weather review
J
The ads. Give me a break
There is nothing good about this app
Crashed
This has been a pretty good weather app. But the last week it’s crashed and all that’s available are the news and ads. Hopefully they will get it fixed soon, if not I’ll have to start the search for a different weather app.
App/Weather
The app is perfectly fine, but the weather that is provided by these guys is god awful… don’t try and plan by what you see here. Also think it’s funny they ask you to pay for no advertising while using the app. I would if the weather itself was even close..
Haste makes waste..
Within 2 minutes of installing the app, was asked how I was enjoying it - little quick don’t you think ?

Too many
Alerts
Weather alerts don’t stay marked. When you leave and come back there unchecked. Otherwise i love the app
Partage familial
Est-ce que le partage familial est permis avec cette application?
Wrong info
This app use to be great now it’s pouring and it says partly cloudy and not showing anything on radar. Wrecked another app in the search of the almighty dollar!!
Keeping me outside
The detail on precipitation is really lovely for keeping one at the crag or on the trail.
Stop the updates!
Every update is making things less user friendly, more unwanted features and ads. And now the “warnings” only open to a blank page that says the page you are looking for doesnt exist?!?
Crashing
08/02/23 again: Crashing since the last update. This is my go to Weather app Any suggestions. Thank you
I trust it
Wow! It’s a great app. Most of the time, it’s accurate.
What’s with the pop-ups asking me to allow ads…
…when I am paying NOT to see ads. Will end my subscription after this year and go back to Environment Canada.
Great app
Please add “feels like” temperature widget for a lock screen. Thank you
Gone downhill
I’ve been using this app for many years, but sometime in the past year or so, something changed and now forecasts are rarely accurate. Frankly, I can just look outside and give my best guess, and it’s going to be about as accurate as the app. The default weather app on iOS, e.g., is much better (and free without adds). Bye Weather Network.
Stop Assuming What I Want to See
Please remove or make optional the feature you recently added that assumes that I want to see details of the first entry in the list when I change views from hourly to seven or 14 days.
Amazing Weather App Free & Useful Widgets
was looking for an app that had accurate UV readings because i’m from florida, and i try my best to prevent getting sunburned, and protect my skin. This app has really useful, and updated widgets. Very easy to use. Not too many ads, and is easy to run unlike the The Weather Channel, which charges a premium. 10/10
Inaccurate Forecasts
I have given it so many chances because it's a Canadian app. However, the inaccuracy over and over again is totally unacceptable. It's almost like the information is useless. I have also unsubscribed to withdraw my support, and I hope this message gets through. I believe many users share the same sentiment.
Formatting changed
I have enjoyed using this app for several years, especially on my iPad. However, recently, it seems to have changed so it will only format in the narrow, vertical format like for a phone. No longer fills the whole iPad screen which means you have to scroll more to see more.
Weather Radar
What happened to the weather radar? You can now longer see the current radar, only 3-hours in the future.
Nice features
Like this, has some different features from others apps, as accurate as the weather forecasting can be. Paid to remove the ads and they haven’t gone which is a shame, lucky they are small, but would expect them to be completely removed. Hence only 3 stars.
