Great app, excellent service,works around the world!
Not working properly
Just renewed the subscription but even before that’s it doesn’t work anymore like it did years back. Calls drop or the other caller can’t hear me. It’s extremely frustrating! At this point I regret renewing it because it’s useless.
Texting Pictures and maybe vids
So, it is pretty self explanatory. I was curious if anyone else complained about not being able to receive pictures and sending pics and long behold someone did. Sending and receiving pictures of work schedules for instance. That is putting this app a bit behind towards competitive future of other app technology. Some apps are now free and use cell networks. MagicJack seems to stay stagnant with simplicity in some ways. I’m just afraid the reason why a majority of people might choose another app would be to send pictures and receive pics.
Tech support is complicated
Im not sure if this is a bug but my text messages are no longer sending. As this is used for work it is been a huge inconvenience as it has happened randomly, and to add I’ve already paid to have access to the number for a while, its unfortunate. Reinstalling causes you to lose messages and it still hasn’t fixed the problem. Hoping to get a resolution/response on here but if I were you it’d make more sense to just pay for an additional number- you’ll at least have access to your messages
App Works with Limitations
The MagicJack app works great except for calls from orgs that flag VOIP as bad and never get the call. That’s understandable and maybe nothing can be done about that. It would be nice to be able to block numbers though, which I think could be added to the app. For texts, the same VOIP problem with some orgs. Also no images and text gets broken up into many different short segments. Maybe because VOIP has severe limitations with the SSMS protocol. And again, no way to block unwanted numbers.
Superphone!
I have found magicApp to be better than any cell phone service on the planet. It’s totally unbelievably convenient and economical. You can’t go wrong with it!

So I seem to be able to make local calls fine, but across the country doesn't seem to work so well. When I call Magic Jack and they reset my phone it works for one or two calls and then stops again.
Not good
At least three calls have dropped or lost audio so far. This is the third day of having this service.
Color scheme
The color scheme on the newly updated App doesn't work well in dark mode in that that the bottom dock is a mainly white icons on a white background. The icons should be black on a white background.
International user
I have been using magicjack for so many years and is wonderful when you go international..I love it
SMS NOT WORKING FOR IPHONE
The SMS feature does not work with iPhone. Have spent time on the phone with support, submitted two tickets with no responses. Glad the calling works, but need the texting feature asap to work.
Limited features
Many good advantages but several limitations such as you can’t send or receive files or photos or links. Plus not every account verification comes through. VoIP not always allowed. Can we fix these limitations?

Service not available in your location?
I was in india when i purchased the subscription and have used it for several months and am still in india suddenly i get a pop up message saying that the services is not available in your location ? Why is that ? What about the subscription fee i paid for the whole month ?
The most recent app.
The most recent app’s bottom menu bar is gray and makes it hard to see the buttons. Not a good design. Please fix.

Error 101
Been using this app for quite some time now. No issues till yet and have a paid subscription. Since last week not been able to log in and it shows “Error 101”. Contacted support and did all the troubleshooting they asked still nothing. They say they have elevated the query but still nothing. 2 others using this app have the same issue.
SMS enable
It’s needs new update where you can enable the sms to receive and deliver text messages the current version I have doesn’t have it

Text messages
Ok, so now you have to subscribe and pay a monthly fee to receive text messages. The only text message I ever received on magic app is to tell me I have a vocal message, which I already knew cause voicemail also have a notification. And I can’t remove the notifications on text messages cause I don’t have a subscription… could you please do something about it?
App only accepts email user name but online allows phone number.
I couldn’t log onto the app because at some point I changed my sign in online to my phone number. It wouldn’t accept anything but my email address. I had to change my user name and password - then change it on my computer too. Just an inconvenience. If you use the app make sure you use the email address you signed up on the online account with or you can’t use the app. Otherwise the app works ok. It drops out if your WiFi drops out. Can be a little tricky.

Great quality calls
The quality of calls is very good. Calling from Canada to US is easy. Set up of the app is straight forward. Had a problem with the app for a few days as the auto renew didn’t process even though the payment had gone through but this was resolved and service restored. I would recommend and have no regrets paying for the service which is very reasonable priced.
Account Locked even after renewing subscription
I have been using the app since a while. It always works well in the start & then the problems start. I had purchased one number & was using it fine for a couple of years & then it stopped. I went ahead & again purchased a new number last year October & was renewing it every month on the phone. Now, in May after renewing the service on the 3rd, it worked well for 3 days and now since the 7th, everytime I open the app, error message appears “Account Disabled: This account is locked, contact MagicJack support”. After chatting with them on the website, they’re also unable to fix the issue & have requested me to email & write a review about the issue. Not fair, guys!!! When someone pays for a service, he/she deserves to be satisfied
App crashes on startup iPad iOS 18.5
Just updated to latest version. App does not initialize. iPad version 7, iOS 18.5 Fixed today, June 18.
Working great for me!
The app is great. It’s been working for me and receiving one time codes that allow a VoiP number. One thing I wish they could fix is allowing the app to continue to run when the phone is off. If you click your phone off to turn off the screen, the call drops. I wish they could fix that but other than that I’m very pleased.
App will not work!
I have reached out to the company but have yet to hear a reply. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it still locks up on the login screen. Is anyone else having issues and if so what did you do? This has been going on for several weeks now.

paid $20. usd for international,never got 1 minute of time (credit) ,, then majicjack wanted me to pay $25. to talk to a tec ,, so now when I am in Mexico I use other phone companies

There is no response
After blocking the Russian replenishment of the store, it is not possible to pay for a subscription and not transfer to another region. Technical support at the plant is not responding to change the account of the payment cloud

Frustrating Did not work
I tried to set up magic Jack with my Mac and the app that Magic Jack provided is not supported in modern macOS, so it did not work. I downloaded the app from the App Store and it will not allow me to create a password so now I have an unusable product. I work for a networking company so I know how to connect things to networks.
