I can’t create an account
It says error 7063 always
Ummmmm
A bit slow loading could be a lot faster
Can’t use dial pad during calls
The text and calling works GREAT except for when you need to select options on the dial pad DURING a call.
Best app ever
I love It and just want to appreciate you for bringing pinger to us
i enjoy it
awesome app
Bad Reception
Friend told me reception is a 1/10 from their end.. After bad review from phone screening from possible job interview
The app works but
The app works but the calls won’t work. I use this app for job interviews call but the calls wont go through. It hard for the other person to hear me or they say it sounds like I’m under water. Please fix the app and make the call clear
Downloaded the app and put me through registration process only to tell me I have to get a new phone
Downloaded the app and put me through registration process only to tell me I have to get a new phone to use it!!! Just wanted to waste time dishonestly! Sure I’m am going to buy a new phone now just because u tricked me! Even then u shouldn’t use pinger because they are always first to block u out of your account for not having the newest phone!! I’m sure they get kick backs from phone companies and give their users the finger treatment
Makes decent quality calls most of the time.
App takes over phone with ads. How many ads do you need to pay for a phone call? Seriously lol. Then the app locks up your keyboard while running more ads while you’re texting. Text now is a better alternative.
Lovely
I can’t wait to start subscription on it
AI prompts are awful
The chat displays AI prompts that blur the conversation and can’t be easily dismissed. It displays these prompts after I send messages and the suggested texts are not even helpful. If these aren’t removed or fixed, this chat feature is unusable in its current state
recommend it to anyone
It’s kind of wave, have a try on it, i love using it.
Copy paste messages
Copy paste messages do not work. People don’t receive my messages.
Review
I really enjoy this app, but wish people could call me Without having to make a long distance call. Thanks

Is it possible to add “archive” option ?
Error 7063 every time I setup an account. Never works
Outdated application error There is not a new version available. Needs an update. Also an error trying to use google account. This app is terrible. 0 stars
New glitch???
I’ve always loved this app as a back up if something happens to my phone service or if I just need to enter in a backup number. However, lately, there’s been dozens of messages that make absolutely no sense. It looks like I’m texting somebody who I definitely am not. And their responding who is this? It’s weird conversations where I’m inviting them out to dinner or I get together saying do you remember me? At first, I thought it was incoming messages but no, the creepy messages are outgoing from my app. It makes me wanna delete the app, but I have information on there that I want to save.
Verification Codes are a Paid feature.
If you were trying to use a phone app that gives you a different phone number for safety and security when using apps like meta which are now demanding your phone number, Pinger holds your verification code hostage for $12.49/mth I am not paying $12.49 for a single verification code. Period. I would rather not have access to a social media account due to safety and privacy than be forced to pay for a single code. The whole reason I was trying to use Pinger was to avoid my information being sold, so it feels toxic that I have to pay to avoid that.
Good app for those on a budget but......
I love this app. It’s a pretty straight forward app that does what it says it does and straight up gives you what it claims it does. It gives you a phone number with the area code that matches where you live, as well as unlimited text messaging, and being able to collect free talk time minutes if you want. Best of all, it gives you a free voicemail. In my personal experience, voicemail availability might not always be possible for some budget/cheap phone plans. I use this for a basic phone plan to communicate with those that needed to reach me by phone. While I could technically afford to pay for a cheap phone plan, but I much rather save my money and only get it when I need it. For now, Pringer and Textfree is my main way to communicate on my mobile. There’s a few downsides to this app tho. One of which is I can only communicate via wifi due to me not having a data plan. Which is definitely understandable due to this being a VOIP system, but I still wish there was a way to try and get around that. Also to my understanding, if I make international calls, or any calls for that matter, the other person will get charged, especially if that person is not in Canada or the USA and as well as not using pringers and textfree. I can definitely understand why (reason being that is because people’s plans and what not) but still, that’s a bit unfortunate one way or another. Regardless though, this app and their textfree app is still better than most apps out there that I’ve used.
Pinger
So good for pranking people
I HATE PINGER!!!
The calls ALWAYS go from EXCELLENT service to POOR immediately. Then it drops the call
The call quality
The app is overall good, all I hate is the ads (ofc) but there’s one thing that really seems to be the problem, YOUR CALL QUALITY:[ when me and my friend try to call, the audio sounds so bad and I don’t hear her voice well. The quality is really bad and it sounds like it’s distorted, can u please fix this? :(
Very Low Quality
The sound quality is very low. I can’t really hear when I’m on the phone. There aren’t any notifications for text messages. I have to keep checking to see if I received any text messages. It’s not worth the price.
Hello
Can I get in there
Cannot log in
Can’t login verification don’t work. They send you a code you enter it. You go to login and get stuck in a verification loop. I just deleted the app. .
Update needed
It’s super lagging drop an update
Account Restricted
I’ve used Pinger for years, then the account is restricted in the sudden. I contacted support and got a generic “Your account has been blocked for violating our Terms of Service” response. I wish Pinger gave me a warning first, so I had a chance to either stop doing whatever it didn’t like or move to a different service provider.
Amazing app, compared to others!
I have been using pinger since 2013 when I was a kid with a iPad and iPod and I could now call my parents! Now grown up and owning a business I have found my way back to pinger using it as a business line. It’s been perfect for my business and customers, and great to keep my personal and business separate. Being compatible with many devices, I never miss a text or call - improving my business. All in all Pinger and their sister companies have been flawless dating all the way back when I made my first phone call.
Missed messages
I’ve missed so many messages and the other person resends them and they still don’t come through. Might just uninstall and use something else. Don’t bother using this app if they don’t fix this issue and many more that others have mentioned.
Great, but doesn’t receive verification codes
Good app, it got me a phone number and I appreciate it, but it’s annoying when I want to use this number to make an account for an app and I have to get a verification code for it, because I’ve never received any of them. Can you please make us able to receive these kinds of verification codes? Thanks!
Trying to login no way
Is the pinger app down at the moment? Because I’ve been trying to login for days now no way.
Pretty much no ads
The ads are short and sweet. This app saved my life.
Ng man
They locked my account for no reason
Great App!
All good but prefer textnow as this one you won’t get confirmations on when needing to verify your number but still my second best option!
Probably a good app but…
This is probably a good app except it gives me an error EVERY. SINGLE. TIME I try signing up, but besides that I like your cat pictures plus that other guy that gave it a one star is probably a little kid bc that’s fake on what he’s saying
Works Well
I'm one for privacy, so I like having an alternate number to use for stuff. The one thing I'll point out is that text messages are a bit tricky to read with voiceover, as they are not rendered properly as text to voiceover, thus it cannot read them directly to me, however using screen recognition usually works most of the time, and having email alerts for text messaging helps solve the issue, although a bit awkwardly.
Paywall
Already know why we need it for verification or second phone. Too bad you must pay .
Pinger
Great app when it comes to texting but it’s extremely hard to hear someone when calling and extremely hard for them to hear you too. Also it doesn’t always notify me when I get a text message but it still a really great app and worth the money
.......
It’s a good app but however when u text someone it’s free for u but costs money for the other person my friend had to pay 40$ for just two days
Life saver!
Best private app for messaging. The audio for the call is bad quality and nobody can understand me. But at least the texting is good. My one thing is I would like my GIF apps to work here. Can that happen?
Unable to sign up
Don’t waste your time cuz each time I try to sign up it keeps saying “request error” why is that?
