Very pleased
This system recently replaced my old alarm and we are delighted with its ease of use. The phone app is so useful for setting, unsetting and notifications. Well worth the cost.
Dysfunctional app
A sensor failed. The app will not allow me to exclude/omit the sensor rendering the entire system unusable. Poor system. Poor app. Very much regretting this purchase.
New update need more work
Hey Developers This morning I had an alarm go off and I struggled to turn it off on the app. I ended up turning off at the key pad
New app
Since using the new Irisco app have found it very difficult to view stills. You cannot zoom in on stills even in main picture. If you download you only get one pic at a time and can zoom in. Not user friendly in order to look at sequence.

Alarm armed
iRISCO, alarm, it would be useful if when I arm it, the app sends a fixed banner on the iPhone saying that it is armed, or something similar, thank’s
Exceedingly complicated and limited app
Compared to other commercially available systems this app is clunky, its security access on the web is fragile and complex and you can’t add/change pin numbers or add phone numbers to call in the app. I regret having isntalled it!
Need a camera looked at how do I contact you
One of our cameras has failed. We need someone to come and look at it. How do we get someone to do this. There are no contact details we can see on the app. Please advise

Why doesn’t the app report faults on the system
Dysfunctional update
This does not even alert us to an alarm sounding in our house, which is the most basic requirement of a burglar alarm. Instead it offers a whole lot of fancy options of very martial value. They've lost the plot on the core function.

The App right now is little more than a remote switch on/off feature with notification of an alarm trigger. Would be much more useful if App had functions such as: - time of day set on/off - add or delete timed entry/exit zones - set timed entry exit time period - dynamic configuration of part and full zone setting Not great value for money as it is today

Power Hungry
This app is very power hungry. On average the background used over 70% of the battery on iPhone. I have checked the daily usage and average is above 70% I believe that the app may be spying and collecting data.
Buon impianto ma…
L’impianto ha avuto diversi problemi con la centralina, sostituita per ben due volte e un problema con la sirena che di punto in bianco si è ammutolita, tutto sostituito senza spese, l’allarme in sé funziona bene, non da tanti falsi allarmi, ma la latenza tra una rilevazione e l’altra dei sensori è troppa, l’ho fatti portare al massimo della sensibilità. A prove fatte camminando velocemente riesco a non essere rilevato e questo non va bene. Per quanto riguarda l’app, manca lo stato di carica delle batterie e la gestione attiva del sensore per gestire i problemi descritti sopra.

Problema con Wi~fi
Come è possibile che per un antifurto valutato medio alto sul mercato, un soggetto non abbia la possibilità di gestire la password Wi-Fi dall’applicazione?
No fix for battery drain yet
I’ve been waiting for a few months for a fix. The previous version didn’t suffer this issue. Please advise when an update will happen. Update today….update loaded this morning which has fixed the issue completely. Now worth 5 stars…..Many thanks
Looks good, but for Alarm users…
I really like the new look of the update. However… My issue: I’m only an alarm user. (Security). So for me I’ve gone from having the nice big display on my “home” page as soon as I open the app to just having a small bar/widget looking thing that takes up a small area and the rest of the page is blank. I can click on to the “security” tab to view my original page, but who wants to be doing that every time when it’s been in the home page for so long. It’s a step down in my opinion along with losing the “swipe” to alarm feature. My request: Please add the option to set “security” as the home page for all of us Security users. Thank you.
Funzionale
App funzionale, i problemi della nuova versione sono stati risolto (ma per favore non ripetete il problema), a livello di praticità mi trovavo meglio con la vecchia versione, ma ha di nuovo tutto. Però, per favore, integrate il supporto ad Apple HomeKit e a Google Home (Alexa non basta)
Drains battery
The app seriously drains the phone battery - shows as 1 minute on screen and the. runs for hours in the background (app refresh not on). It was recently set for 2 hours and ran for 13 hours that day. So far the only way to stop it is to turn the phone off - not great if you want to monitor for any alerts. It is easy to use, which is why it has a couple of stars.
Notifications not working
The new update means we have to toggle on to 'HD' every time. Much better to default to HD with choice to go to SD.
IRISCO APP is great!
It’s odd that when I click on the bell symbol top right of screen, the event history doesn’t show any part sets! Yet, when I click on “More”, the event history there does show part sets. Why would that be please?
Battery Drain Issues
The app is using 38% of my battery overnight purely in background activities. This is unacceptable, illogical and needs to be resolved urgently.
I’m not a dog person
The app works fine with my Agility 3. I don’t use any of the other new features yet, but it is much more friendly than the previous versions. One problem: when my alarm is unset, it shows a drawing of me on my sofa. With a dog at my feet!! I’m really not a dog person. Please can we have a setting to change the dog to a cat. Pretty Please.
Notification sounds keep changing to default
Since the recent app updates the alarm set and unset notification sounds change to the system default even though they are still set as ring in the app. To restore the sound to ring you have to keep going into the settings and change it to something else then back to ring. This is very annoying and a needless waste of time. Why can’t it just make the sound it’s supposed to make? Please update the app to correct this. Apart from this the app seems to do as it’s supposed to.
App update
The new update takes some time to get used to, but OK - I like the combined Live/Playback function. We’ve lost the ability to enlarge the camera view and zoom in, which means you’re left with only a small real estate image. Changing this would be a great improvement.

Since all updates, app works great. Note to users, you need to search IRISCO in App Store to update it as it didn’t show me there was an update available. install these every week and they are a very good system. Advanced Vision Security Pty Ltd

App won’t open - updated
Been working fine but now the app doesn’t open. Update, restarted phone. I would like more editing options in the app for example, add/edit zones in partitions
Poor interface
The new app I find very very difficult to arrange anything. The interface is not intuitive at all to me at least. I would love to go back to the old one.
Better interface, poor battery performance
The latest iRisco app is a big improvement on previous versions. The design is relatively intuitive and has been modernised. Two down sides, one is the inconvenient status notification at bottom which overlaps other parts of screen. This is quite minor. However, more noticeable is the increased battery consumption. Over a 10 day period c. 35-40 percent of battery, and eg overnight 38 percent of battery, is used by the app on my iPhone. This needs looking at so the background app refresh isn’t draining your phone so much.
Slow from update
Updating my last review. System is working great, no complaints and is doing everything I expect from it. If there’s a feature I’d like to add it would be Siri Shortcuts to arm / disarm and also to activate utility outputs, “close roller door / open roller door”. This would make the app perfect in my eyes.

Doesn’t connect to Vodafone full fibre.

App displays incorrect data
I havea Risco Alarm system professionally installed and asked to download the iRisco app. THERE IS A FAULT WITH THE APP. When using the keypad to set the alarm and exist the property by the from door, notification is received that the alarm is set, but the from door detector indicator turns red and remains red until the alarm is unset. The installer checked and the Front door detector is set correctly it is just the app display is wrong, he contacted RISCO who advised to use the ‘FreeControl’ app instead. The FreeControl app works and shows the Front Door detector correctly as does using the phone after leaving the property using either app. Having got used to using the iRisco app I prefer it to FreeContol but would like it to work correctly. What appears to be a good alarm system is being let down by a shoddy app. Please rectify
Where is the change the WiFi setting??
The new app looks much more modern but some functionality has gone, for example the ability to change or check WiFi.
Best Security App
I love how I can get notifications from all of my premesis, the multi site works a treat. And to see what’s caused the alarm makes it so reassuring, I can use my alarm with Confidence.
Very basic
I’ve got my agility 3 set up with the app and all I can effectively do is set / unset the alarm. It’s incredibly basic. I can’t even set a schedule in the app so the alarm turns off at a certain point in the morning so the kids can go downstairs. Painful.
Great system, app may need improvements
I bought this system because it was ticking all the boxes as per my alarm system requirement. Very few systems in the market offer 3G support. Apart from the quality of images from PIR camera everything else works perfect. Regarding app, overall it’s fine but if you can address following issues, it can be the best experience. 1) App logs out occasionally 2) it takes 5-10 secs to connect to panel 3) when alarm goes off, it becomes unresponsive for short duration and takes around 30-60 secs before you see images. I would to see if you can also add, voice support like (Siri). Geo fencing will be great addition if you have integration with Apple HomeKit. No major updates/feature from you guys over 2 years now. Hope to see something new soon before you loose this loyal customer.
No longer working?
Since the iOS26 iPhone update, I can’t sign into the app - just spins.
Site name editing
On the old app you could add keyboard symbols example 18/12 Susan street but on the new app you can’t ? Why ? Can’t have a “ . / - & @ - means you cant add a clients address correctly
V5 update works fantastic
The updates haven’t missed a beat. I use the ip module and have ups backup on the modem. Get notifications when someone crosses the beams out the front and the vupont cameras send footage to my phone Highly recommend, new app is fantastic
New version hard to read and use
Just updated the app. This new version is a step back in usability. First off the Privacy Policy text is ridiculously too small to read so therefore have to accept on faith. This probably makes the policy illegal. Secondly I much preferred the old simpler menu system with bigger icons and text. Thirdly, the event history is now split up into days so I can’t just scroll through the past history. Overall this version seems to have been designed by a young person with no thought for older users.
IRISCO alarm
So far, so good after initial online cloud issue but this is a new estate so things happen. One thing I would like to be considered is Apple Watch support. To activate and deactivate from the watch would be ideal and could be done especially considering series 3 watches can separated from iPhone and act independent. Simple swipe like on the phone would be great just to arm or disarm. Other features fine to stay on smartphones. Oh, to be notified of entry should be simple also just like my arlo camera does.
Why change what worked fine
The old app may not have had wizzy graphics but it was easy to follow and the menus were easy to follow. I had trouble finding the Event History on the new app and found it under ‘More’. ‘If it ain’t broke don’t fix it’ as someone once said.
