I have been using this app for over a year now, and it has helped me track and limit my alcohol consumption. And recently made it abundantly clear that staying below a certain number of drinks per day can also be a guaranteed quota. 😊
Very helpful
This app has helped me make an accurate account of my alcohol intake as, in the past, I tended to equate one drink to one unit. It’s easy to use and a great reminder to stop.
Lack of control
Any reason why I can’t modify wine drink size? I can only select 150 ml or 175 ml

Update rubbish
The latest update has upset the graphics for the drinks so it is hard to determine what size drink you have had. Why change something that wasn’t broken😢
Nice clean interface
It’s very easy to enter data using this app. Very clear and simple w/o distracting items. I like the Infograph feature that shows the number of calories using number of calories by how many cheeseburgers. The only thing I’d like to change would be the cost, there’s not a way to change the price per drink from your baseline.
Stupid
This app for some ridiculous reason doesn’t allow you to add your alcohol intake specified by millilitres and alcohol content. You need to use their prespecified amounts. To the developers: why? I drink what I drink. That’s what I’m trying to record.
Pretty good but could use additional settings
I wish it offered an option to add the time of day that I had the drink. Like 4 drinks over 7 hours is different than 4 drinks over 2 hours. And I wish I could turn off categorizing the amount I’ve had as over drinking, or binging, etc. I’ve been assigned by my therapist to just track my drinks, but not look at it with judgment until I’ve tracked for several weeks. The app doesn’t allow for this option. Otherwise, I’m thankful there is free tool to use, this is appreciated.

Love this app. But is there a way we can add in a notes section . Maybe so we can write our feelings . Hangover the next day. Like reminders of HEY THIS is how I felt this THIS and oooooh that day. Like a mini journal to help improve our changes .
Limited features on free version
As someone who does not drink, but just wants to chart those days, it does not give me mich if any long term data with out paying for something that I will get little benefit from. Otherwise the best app out there.
Good tracker. Frustrating interface.
Rather than allow you to type the size and abv of a drink you have to select from a list. If like me you share drinks or pour different sizes at home or even in a craft beer bar this becomes deeply frustrating. A good idea spoiled by poor ux choices.

Ich hab mir die App runtergeladen um mich mit meinen Freunden zu messen. Anscheinend ist die App aber dafür da um weniger zu trinken, problematisch an der Sache ist leider das die GUI zu gut ist es zu viel Spaß macht den genauen Pegel festzuhalten. Fazit: App ist gut aber nicht für den Sinn für den sie erstellt wurde.

This is an update of a review. I did nearly 2 years ago. Since I got this app, I have tracked every ounce of alcohol I’ve had over the last two years on a daily basis. I call myself a moderate drinker, which may be generous. I would say that this app increases my mindfulness dramatically every time I’m deciding whether to have, say, a second beer. I know it a glance how much alcohol I have consumed over the last 30 days and how many of the last 30 days I have consumed alcohol. It’s incredibly powerful.

Great App
This app is simple to use and presents useful & downloadable information to help you monitor your drinking habits. Once you get used to inputting an update as needed, it becomes second nature and very useful in managing number of drinks per week and month. I actually view it as a monthly challenge game to keep the total under a certain number. You can then review progress over many months very simply. It's helped me a great deal !!

Poor range of quantities
I used to have a great alcohol counting app - easy to use, pleasant graphics and it gave you an alarm when you drank to the point where you probably were at a blood alcohol level of .04 at which you would probably continue to drink beyond what you had planned to (as this blood alcohol level seriously impacts your ability to limit your drinking). I was unable to hang onto this app at my last phone “upgrade”. Sadly, this app is not like that old app. It has clunky graphics and a poor range of quantities to chose from - so if I drink one unit of red wine- say 90 or 100 ml - I can’t record this as the lowest amount I can record is 125ml. Surely this is an encouragement to drink more??? Plus everyone and their dog wants to get rich quick by designing a popular app and this app, while the basics are free, anything beyond this will cost you. Quite a lot actually. So I am not sure how long this app will remain on my phone it really has limited usefulness.
Daily Tool with Big Impact
After the pandemic, my wife and I decided that we would benefit from better awareness and management of our alcohol consumption. Drink Control became our go-to tool that has resulted in dramatic reduction in drinking. Easy to use, its interface allows me to quickly update my drinks and see how well I’m doing. I especially love comparing to recent periods.
Good tracking, making it real
Good simple tracking app, which visually makes it easy to see drink and dry days, with costs of booze if you include that. Suggestion to add the gains of not drinking in money saved as an incentive!

Great App
Very helpful. Did the full version. Not a ton more features but the reminders are actually quite helpful. Love the various conversions and explanations how different countries use different recommendations. You when to understand how to measure your drink to know how much you’re drinking. Lots of great info to motivate you to keep track and keep in control. Just log in without judgement …

A sophisticated, useful tool.
This is not a rah rah, way to go, buddy app. Rather, it allows me to keep track of EXACT alcohol consumption (not just inaccurate undefined “drinks”), the EXACT cost of each day’s consumption, and more, including comparisons of consumption over time. It’s all I need to keep track of my moderate drinking.

Good free app but why have a glass of wine in your logo? We don’t want to be reminded of alcohol everytime we use our phones and see your app…
New Canadian guidelines imposed
I’ve used this app for a few years but sadly the app has adopted the new hyper strict (and silly) Canadian guidelines, turning my blue bars into a sea of red. They should give you the option to set your own. I will be cancelling if they don’t give back the great functionality from before — red zoning everything makes more subtle drink control difficult.

It's a decent way to track your intake. I'm not doing ot to cut back but more to see an average of how much I drink and how many dry days I have too. It could be slightly easier to input drinks as there are so many to input to track this more easily but on the whole its good

Quite well built, but there are apps that are just as good for free. Deleted this app. I now use “Try Dry. The Dry January app”
