CX-30
I absolutely love having this app paired with my vehicle, it's so easy to use and has sooo much information about your vehicle. You even get to make your car if you want to lll. It makes you feel more secure and alerts if you forget to lock your doors etc. I LOVE IT!

Subscription Deal Breaker
Mazda needs to get rid of the paid subscription for remote start. Why pay $75k for a car and you can’t remote start it!! Disappointing!

Login Failures
I was finally able to create an account, however the button doesn’t work to login. I’ve reloaded the page, switched desktop and mobile websites, and reported it for months via the safari subtabs.

Mostly good, notifications are very poorly done.
Mostly good app, all basic functions of a car companion app covered - except for the notifications experience. Notifications bother people on their wrist, in their car, during a meeting, etc. It is really important to get them right and spend time to make them not annoying. Where the mazda app fails.: - Door left unlocked is an important notification, I should be able to quickly lock the car and move on. But the app turns dealing with this notification into a 60 second ordeal because of the clicks required to see what’s actually wrong. - Advertisements are not notifications material. In order to distinguish your ads for a car I won’t buy for another three years from my door lock notifications I have to wait for the app to load and scroll across the messages tabs and sometimes click multiple to see which notification tab category it was for. - advertisements should have their own notification category so I can suppress or put those in the scheduled summary. Sure, the mazda marketing managers don’t want this but an apps notifications are not fair game for advertising, this could get some review from Apple. - I pay 10 bucks a month for online functionality but I constantly have the app tell me it has to wait to sync with the car. I have 4 other cars in the family from 4 other manufacturers and none of them have this. Stop being cheap and when car alerts happen dial up the car communication so I don’t have to wait 5 minutes.

This app is a nice, simple, and convenient app that makes the owner experience much better… I recommend this app.
Mazda app not updating for months,
I got my cx-5 2026 in May, the app has never seemed to work, I can’t remote start, lock my doors or use the app period. Also there’s always an alert for a malfunction, the apple play works when it wants to, choosing users work periodically also. It’s very frustrating!

Pretty lame for an app with a pay wall.
Pretty basic functions for an app I am forced to pay for if I want remote start. My ford app lets me control the climate control, and schedule starts. I’ve used it for 7 years for free. Mazda is cheaping out for not having remote start from the key fob. I love everything else about my CX50.
Tracking
It takes more than 3-4 times to sign-ons to locate my vehicle. How am I able to fix it?

What is it for?!
This app started off ok. You could log in and start your car or unlock it or see where it is parked. Now it logs you out every time then asks for car dealer info, a vin number, and requires you to be in your car in order to log into the app. If you share a car forget about it. Only one user for the app at a time so someone has to call you to ask where the car is parked or to turn on the car to warm it up. Which… if the heat isn’t already set up manually; then you just turn on the car and it stays cold.

Shame on this app and the company for now charging us a fee to use this app. Are we joking right now?? As if paying $700 a month for the car isn’t enough. Do you people think everyone just has the money to spare? People can barely afford basic necessities right now and yall want us to pay for something that was FREE?! Yeah, deleting this and will NEVER use this app again.
My Mazda app
I recently experienced a situation where my key fob was accidentally locked inside my Mazda CX-5. Although I had full access to the MyMazda app and was able to authenticate successfully, the app would not unlock the doors because the key was detected inside the vehicle. Eventually, my wife had to bring the second key fob, and I was able to unlock the car immediately using that key. This raises an important question: if the vehicle accepts another authorized key fob to unlock the doors, why doesn’t it allow an authenticated user to unlock the vehicle through the official app? From a security perspective, it would make sense to require additional verification such as Face ID, fingerprint authentication, or a confirmation prompt before allowing remote unlocking in this situation, rather than completely disabling the feature. Overall, I like the vehicle and its technology, but this behavior turned a simple mistake into an unnecessary inconvenience.
Notification can be better
You should not have to lock in to Mazda App to see the Notification.
Unresponsive
Has issues with being unresponsive and long initial load times when opening app. Constantly having to sign back in and have to press the buttons multiple times before the vehicle does what I want it to do from app
Great App to Have!
Having this app on my phone is very helpful and convenient! It lets me know if someone has entered and started my car. It lets you auto start your car from inside your home on a hot or cold day to get the A/C or heater started, and it has so many other helpful features! Great app to have!
Not smart
The app has limited functions. I particularly hate that it cannot allow me customize the pictures, and hide “vehicle status” at the very end of the messages! The app is really not designed to be user friendly at all. Can’t believe it even charges monthly fee.
Good but could be better
It’s a good app. It works well on the CX-30. My only disappointment is that you can’t unlock the doors or turn on the ventilation remotely. That’s the only thing that’s better on the BMW. (My only other experience of apps for cars). Saying that, this is far more responsive and I have no complaints.
Need Real Time for Real Results
This app would be perfect if it stayed in sync with my car. It doesn’t update as often as it should.

Good Sometimes
I like this app when it’s working and not constantly logging me out. Yes, I have “keep me logged on” on but it still logs me out. I don’t get notifications when I’m logged out and that’s just as frustrating as it not keeping me logged in.
Works well but logs you out all the time
The app is nice and works well. However it logs you out constantly. Like every few days making you have to resign in every time. Face ID is enabled, doesn’t care. Put in your email and password every like 5-6 logins or every few days. Otherwise is good.

Won’t let me login
I had troubles with the app the moment I downloaded and tried to use it. First, it wouldn’t let me sign up. Eventually I was able to from the MyMazda website. Now that I have a login, the actual “login” button doesn’t work. I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app several times.

My Car Caught Fire. Mazda Caught Me
Obviously every car purchase includes a bit of trepidation… once I give them my money, will I actually be supported? Maintenance, vehicle alerts, all of it. Especially now, as we live in a world of continuous inflation. I was forced to buy a new car because my old one caught on fire with me in it. When this happened, I was 2 hours away from home and, of course, psychologically frazzled. I ended up having to rent a car — and they kept me there for two additional hours. So let's recap: frazzled, frustrated, feeling empty. The last car on the lot was a Mazda… I rented it. I drove it home. There were a couple of people in my life who drove Mazdas, but I'd never thought anything of it. I'd had a Toyota forever — 20 years — and then a Nissan that caught on fire. I'll never trust Nissan again. The moment I got home and had to return the rental, I knew I was going to buy the model — a SkyActiv. I've never in my life felt that amount of safety and trust. The buying experience was amazing, as was the service, the product commitment, and the communication — everything works together to make buyers feel like part of something greater.
Subscriptions suck
I haven’t used the remote start in over 6 months and can’t find a way to cancel through the app. I shouldn’t have to pay $10/month to remote start my $50k car… last Mazda I ever plan on purchasing!
Painful to delete messages.
Could be better if there was a quick way to delete the notifications of the car being unlocked - as they can happen quite often if you are in the habit of walking back and forth from the house with the boot open loading it.

Great little app, easy to use, easy to connect… Cons: the equation for fuel consumption is faulty; the better the economy you get on fuel for 100 km the lower the distance you can make with a full tank! The program is simply multiplying the fuel reserve by consumption… rookie mistake! I’m surprised that Mazda didn’t see it!!

Not worth the price - old tech
$10/mo is wild. I don’t have any apps that cost that much. This app can start my car sometimes, but that doesn’t mean you can change the temperature controls. So if it was chilly when I parked it last, then I want to start it to cool it down during a hot afternoon there is not point, my AC would have been off. Also doesn’t reliably lock the car remotely. Notifications are annoying, I had them on incase the car was left unlocked and it warned me, but seems like I just kept getting notifications to play Mazda trivia and Mazda news? This should be a devoted tool, a remote key fob and diagnostics app, not news and trivia. Unbelievable they want $10/mo for something that maybe works sometimes and other companies have it for free, not to mention if you do successfully start your car remotely you will need to turn the car off and on again before you drive anywhere.
