I can’t believe I been using this for almost 10 years w/o giving a well deserved positive review!!!. It’s the best tuner out there. For free or for $$Gwap !! Accurate when needed & tunes lower bass notes w/ little finesse at all. My favorite pastime is sitting in false claims new age frequency healers on YT channels comment section and eviscerating w/ confidence thanks to this app!!! USA 💕 LOVES 💕 Pano Tuner.!!

I use it for my dulcimer and my bass guitar but it’s a little finicky. 4 stars.
Used to be Better!
Now that they have started cutting off the tuner function while the Adds play it is not as good as before! Didn’t mind watching the Adds while tuning…You know we are capable of doing 2 things simultaneously!
Bring back Landscape Mode
This app was fine before the latest upgrade, but now It’s practically useless since I can’t use it in Landscape Mode anymore.

Freezes ALL THE TIME
To unfreeze it I usually have to delete the app and reload. Going to look for something else. This is ridiculous
Issue today
Received an annoying pop up add today for first time. “Advertises” fake problem with iPhone. Using 14Pro with iOS 26.0.1. Ad says (1) Security Alert. Your device is at risk. Only displays within tuner screen of this app. Gets replaced by another ad eventually.
Something is wrong
Whatever you did to this app recently, it barely works now. Switching strings, it stays on the previous string for around 5 seconds. I’ve used this app for over a decade and now there are video ads and it doesn’t work properly.
Good tuner, inappropriate ads
The app is great as a tuner. The best out there. But there has to be better control of the ads. Sometimes there are pornographic ads.

Pano Tuner Lite is a great app for tuning instruments and even your voice but I have one problem with it: it’s jittery when I sing a tune on it. Now this may be because my voice is not at its best today but it is still annoying which is why I have rated it 4 stars instead of five. Apart from that it is a very good app. I would love for it to have some sort of rating system for your voice where you can sing something and it would give you an AI rating out of five or something. Great app!🤓
glitches too much to work properly
It used to be great when I first got it 8+ years ago but now it’s so frustrating I need to find another app. It hardly reads the sound like it used to. I wish I didn’t have to delete it since I did enjoy this one for so long.

The Best !
I have been completely satisfied with this tuning app, discovering features that I didn't know were included. For tuning string instruments and even checking singing pitch it is an amazing piece of engineering.
getting worse
there's been a lot of updates on this thing lately and now it has commercials and it keeps it seems to be performing worse as time goes on I don't know exactly when that happened but it's definitely glitchy now and cannot reproduce the lowest notes properly, especially below G2

Keeps freezing!
Never had this problem before, LOVE pano tuner, but now it freezes every time an ad pops up, which seems to be every few seconds! Almost unusable now!
useful but glitchy
I use this as i play guitar and bass and it’s very helpful and easy as i always have my phone, one problem is that i will try and open the app and it straight away closes the app and i can not use it
Been using for years, love the update
Didn’t realize the devs still even checked on this app! Just opened it today and was very pleasantly surprised by the UI adjustment. For years there was only a horizontal view and no waveform on the screen to see how close/far off the string was when being played (used to show that a string could be like 30 cents off then back to normal but there was no way to see the actual difference - super helpful in identifying when there’s an issue with a specific string). Vertical with the waveform? Awesome. Love to see it
Quality drop
Last update added an unnecessary seismometer that takes up 70% of the screen in vertical mode. To get the previous helpful display, one has to hold the phone horizontal which it can’t be locked in. Making the tuner directional was a money grab to try and make customers pay for the premium version to retain a familiar platform. No one has ever needed a giant sinusoid to tune their instrument. I’ll never pay for the premium I bought Peterson out of principle.

Awful update
Please bring back the old update. The symbols for flats and sharps are simply too small when using this app whilst playing music.
Not accurate
It’s good for a free app, but it really isn’t very accurate, especially at the extreme ends of the piano. This app would be suitable for someone who doesn’t have a good ear to get a piano that is grossly out of tune into something that is within somewhat reasonable parameters. For the top octave or so of a piano this app is pretty well useless.

I quit using my dedicated tuners. All I need is my phone & my guitar (or mandolin or dulcimer or zither...)
New update is bad
I used this app for almost 10 years and it worked great. They just updated it and it looks and works very bad now.
Great in mid ranges
This is a great app, however at least on my small upright, the highest and lowest notes would not read clearly. Now that could also be the fault my lack of expertise adding to it, but then those notes seldom get played by a beginner and tuning is also a bit of a hearing art.

My Favourite tuner!
this app has been a huge help! It makes tuning a stringed instrument- guitar , fiddle , cello etc. so much easier!
From best to worst
This was the absolute best app for tuning instruments now it either is only in guitar range or the settings are too deep rendering it useless.
Records your voice
This app records your voice and you have to be as quiet as you can to see the exact note to tune, what a shame 🙁

Long Time User - Ads are Now Explicit
I’ve used this app for a very long time! It’s simplicity is a great feature when I work with students however, during the past several months, there has been explicit ad material from a few vendors that are so egregious and inappropriate I may have to use another app when I’m working with my kids. This needs to be fixed soon or I will delete the app.
Small defect
App crashes on iPad Pro 2020 if my USB C multi-port dongle is plugged in (which is always plugged into my keyboard to control it)
Please fix bug
Can you please fix the bug in the top green bar which is moving the wrong direction. It makes the app impossible to use. I’ve been using this app without any problems for years but the recent update has made it unusable for me. Thanks.
Note problem
I’m on French horn and I can’t really get the right note even know my tutor says I play the right note but this says it’s not. (Really good tutor)
Best free tuner
Good for any instrument. I particularly like the trace curve that can show how close and how stable your instrument is doing. Highly recommended!
Inappropriate Ads
Come on - if it is rated for 4+ then the ads should be rated for kids. Inappropriate images popped up while my child was tuning.
Used this app to tune my kalimba
This app worked good to tune my kalimba but there has to be zero background noise. I have an iphone 11 and it’s true what one reviewer said about not being able to get out of this app if you don’t have a home button but if you go into the settings on this app you can then swipe it off to return to your home screen.
Was the best, but...
I love this app, probably the best tuner I’ve tried for the saxophone but it now has serious incompatibility problems with my new iPhone 12. It opens and works fine, but proves impossible to close. The only solution is to turn off the phone and do a restart or rebuild to get it to reset. PLEASE, do an update for this ASAP!!
