Zero customer service
Has a monopoly so you’re stuck having to use them. No human contact only bots who don’t allow you to type in your query so you have to choose from the basic menu of options which address nothing. I left something in a cab once and there is no one to talk to. I tried ordering multiple rides because my group was too big but that’s not an option basically this app sucks

The only problems l have had is when the driver is chatting loudly on the phone - hands free of course - and when the car smells of cigarette smoke. None of them smoke with me in the car but l can tell when they have been smoking.
Incessant notifications
Notifications pester me all day every day. Wouldn’t be so bad if it regularly delivered taxis but finding one takes forever.
Very expensive - prebooking does not advise the fare.
Far too expensive and full of hidden charges - I will probably use Uber in future. - after I have received my £10 overcharged fee!!!

Pre-Booking Doesn’t Work
Pre-Booked a taxi for a specific time and place, but instead decided of actually pre-booking a cab, the app only started searching for a nearby driver at the time I had pre-booked it for. Then it couldn’t find a driver, so I then had to book from a different firm. Will delete the app after this review.
Great just missing the ability to leave the driver a note
Worked perfectly. Just needs to add the ability to leave the driver a note. For example, let them know that we have a bike, etc.

Gave up after 2nd use
Can see multiple cabs on the map but the app took more than 5 mins to find a cab, 2nd time took more than 10 mins and failed to find any cabs, unusable.
Simply and fast
Super and functional. Solved a problem to go home. The only issue is that it would be better to know in advance how much it cost to get to the destination before actually have the ride

Don’t pre book
Makes it look you have actually booked a cab, it hasn’t, it pre loaded a search for a cab. When it can’t find one for your time and you cancel it charges you a fiver. They will tell you in an email that they have charged you a fiver due to their cancellation policy and when you click the cancellation policy hyperlink in the email it doesn’t work. Handy. Just go with uber
Gett app for booking London Black Taxis
I’ve used the Gett app to book a few London taxis now, and it is really easy to use and the drivers were great. The only improvement I would like to see would be different payment options like PayPal, rather than just credit cards.
Could do better
English is limited within the app if you wish to contact the administrators within the app.

Drivers are crooks and not reliable, all of them will ask you to pay cash or Zelle then they will charge you in the app as well, RUDE drivers when I complained the company will support them!!!!!

My cab driver drove really well and securely. The car was clean, the driver pleasant. Changing the destination midway was no problem at all, even though he had already acquired other contracts starting from our original destination. I warmly recommend this driver!

Easy & fast and honest
Easy to download app, use it and quick to get driver and metered fare was fair. The only thing I would say is that you can’t use your home mobile phone number when setting up the app. Lucky I had a local SIM & number.

Horrible Service- Scam Service
Reserved and pre-paid for a car to surprise my mom for her 70th birthday celebration and meet and greet at the airport. My mom also had a hip replacement a year ago so she can’t walk a lot. Upon arriving to the arrivals, the driver called to say he was at terminal 5 but we were at terminal 3, this was also noted on my booking. It took him another 10 minutes to get where we were located and he asked if we could find him. He didn’t meet us at arrivals to assist with our luggage and no signage at all. I called him again since another 10 minutes went by and he said he was at terminal 3 floor 2 parking and if we can come to him. Eventually we said yes because we wanted to leave the airport. After taking two elevators and walking around the parking garage, we found him. No meet and greet signage at all. I was so upset because I was looking forward to surprising my mom for her birthday with signage and easy access to a car to get to the hotel so she wouldn’t need to walk a lot but it was completely ruined. They offered coupons for a future ride which I won’t be using and £25 credit onto my bank account when I paid over £100 and extra for meet and greet and a tip for the driver. To me, it seems like a scam to lure people into using their taxi service by marketing a meet and greet but not providing the service. Please do your research before and go with a reputable company as I wish I did.

There are no prices up front or even estimates for how much a ride will cost. Drivers are rude and constantly trying to scam customers. And how is there still no Apple Pay option?! This app is swirling the drain. Yango is a way better app.
