Just horrible
Can’t even read about the news without your speaker blowing up with some advertising oinformation that I’m not even interested in will not be using this app very much longer
I’m local and hate this news station
Who cares about national petty stories. Tell us LOCAL NEWS. LOUISIANA news. If it is national put everything national on that tab and everything local and Louisiana in the other tab. How hard is it?? Also why does anyone need to be concerned about half of the stories yall put up. At this point I don’t think anyone up there is qualified except the old original 5. Also the advertisements yall show are horrible on the app/tv and sometimes overly sexual. Kids use this app for news and/or weather. Yall can control it.. do something. DEI at its best at this location yall, they obviously don’t pick and choose for skill or talent It’s not even KPLC anymore it’s grey news they bought yall out and it’s gone down hill.. Why is it everyday yall post atleast about multiple sex offenders each day. Stuff with children. Are yall obsessed with this topic? Me and my family can’t even enjoy a time without getting a notification of a child sex offender. That’s all yall post about. Are yall all sick in the head? There’s more to news than only mostly sex crimes it’s excessive. Then the overly sexual photos like.. really?
Good app
My big question is why is the video on demand not available anymore. Even on zeam the video on demand is not available. Not allowing people to watch older episodes of the news .
New app crashes
😡 I don’t like this app. I miss the old one. This one crashes a lot. When you clear alerts it says it’s cleared but the rest day ALL the alerts are back... what a mess Update this app still is the pits.. now every time you open it you have to go to a tiny white line at the top to. “continue on to app” PLEASE STOP UPDATING THIS APP all that happens is it gets worse 👎👎
Music is disruptive
You need to cut out the music because it is disruptive when you’re trying to read the article
KPLC News
I live the nes articles, alerts and updates that come on my phone!! Thanks to y’all!
App Accessibility
I don’t like the way this app is designed. Especially for a person that is blind or visually impaired. This app definitely needs to be fixed for people like us that use screen readers on smart phones. This is totally inaccessible. And needs to be fixed as soon as possible. Not being able to navigate this app with the screen reader makes it very hard on us and with buttons not being labeled, makes it very hard as well.
KPLCTV
App auto plays videos, can’t find way to turn off auto play.
Fan
The new newscaster needs to stop the funny looking hand motions. He is a great speaker just takes away from his performance.
Horrible
Cuts off in the middle of a story, by the time you get back in to watch it’s over because you had to listen to an ad before you could actually watch the news. The app has gotten worse overtime.
KPLC rating..
I don’t like the new way this site works, not impressed with new features
Unwanted media player
When the app was upgraded a couple weeks ago the news reports started initializing automatically. I don’t want this functionality. I have to pause every news report so I can read the article in peace. Is there a way to disable this feature? It’s annoying and I don’t want to find a different app to read the local news.
Really don’t like it
Since the app has updated I’ve had issues with it I liked the the other version way better.
Auto play videos even on silent
My phone stays on silent for a reason. The app developers seem to think I need a media player to automatically start playing with volume every time I check a news alert. Probably going to delete app soon if this isn’t updated. At least give us an option.
No GAS Prices
I might become used to the recent update but now I can’t find anything! Please bring back the gas price listing.
Media player
Wish the media player wouldn’t start playing automatically
Why are Videos blaring
Why do videos have to start immediately after opening the app??? What a nuisance. Especially when opening from Facebook. There is no way to open this app when trying to be quiet. The video should have a button to click to watch them. Not everyone wants to watch a video and wants it blaring out as soon as they open the app.
New app is absolutely horrible. Freezes, ads everywhere as such you can’t see content. Just awful.
Absolutely horrible.
Invasive ads. No warning.
I understand that’s how you make money, but when I’m in the app at 10:30PM I don’t want to see much less hear an ad for an injury attorney at full volume. Neither does anyone else. At least go back to silent full screen ads. The app experience is far better on Samsung with ADblock Pro.
Deleted
Unfortunately I had to delete the app. I did not want to opt in for tracking even though it says I can change it in settings.
Notifications
Worst news app ever. Can’t even share articles. It always shows on screen that a new article is available. You can’t tell what is new, updated, or old articles. You need to find another developer who knows what they are doing!!!!
Alerts
It sucks cause u can’t clear alert notifications off the app it always shows you have an alert
