What people like
- Best way to track local gigs
- Helps you never miss a show
- Gathers all concert info for you
What they complain about
- Bought by AI company, feels wrong
- Spotify and calendar sync are broken
- Wrong bands listed for your shows
- Notifications arrive too late for tickets
Great
Very useful when wanting to know when the next show is!
Broken
Great app for many years, but notifications and Spotify integration are broken and have gone unfixed for an unacceptable length of time.
Share?
There must be some A/B testing result that makes it so you can’t share a concert? They couldn’t miss this simple usage driving feature, right?
Updated layout is horrible
Scrolling through the concerts is way worse now because the titles and pictures are random. It makes it much harder to read since it is not consistent.
Too late
By the time I get a notice on song kick that a group I like will be close by, very few ditckets are remaining.

Excelente app
Used again after like 4 years
and it was literally unusable!
À développer
Bonjour même si l’appli est intéressante et pratique. L’exhaustivité des artistes, des salles et des dates de concert manquent. ex The Roots 9/7/2026 au Zenith Paris V
No more Spotify scan!
I loved this app so much and I would tell all my friends about it when I would get notifications for concerts. But now that Suno took over, you can’t scan your spotify library anymore. Idc that much about the AI aspect.
Standing outside of a venture for a show that happened yesterday. RIP $25 uber ride.
App used to work great. Update to the app destroyed the flow of the user experience. The green toast message at the top is obnoxiously always in my way. Ironically, “never miss a show”, turns into “why do I use this app if I have to consistently fact check it?”. The dates aren’t verified for the artists, shows, or venues. Using this app solely as your notification system is not viable. I will write my own application for my own concert and event scheduling.
Never giving up Songkick
I missed a concert from my favorite band years ago and I said never again. Songkick has kept me up to date on those I want to see live! Love the notifications and how it gathers all the information for me
Won’t connect Spotify
Won’t connect Spotify
Usually great, now ont open
Currently the app will not open, holds on a blank black screen. App is fully up to date on iOS 14 pro max…
Search is dumb. Service itself is good
When dumb decisions don’t follow established conventions - such as search icons performing search, NOT filter - you get frustrated users. Can you just make search placement and behaviour conform to the rest of the internet please! When I want to search I want to SEARCH, not filter the artist I already follow, but SEARCH - global - regardless of whether I already track them. Top of the app placement is global navigation and global search. Have you no smart designers onboard or are your decision makers uneducated? Other than that the service itself is great. Just that goddamn search annoys me every damn time. You’d get 5 starts if it were standard. As it is, it’s frustrating me so frequently you get 2
Incorrect Information/ Delayed Notification
Although the concept is great and I’ve been notified of some great artist that I’ve gone on to see Songkick has alerted me to artists that aren’t genuinely coming. A recent example is Asake. Asake is not coming to The Grosvenor in Manchester in July for £17!! The link takes you to a bingo night there which to me is misleading. There are also instances where I’ve been notified of an artist coming and I was already aware and in some cases had a ticket so the late notification could have meant I’d not seen the early pre sales
.

Incredible app trashed!
This app had been incredible for years! Why did you let some incompetent hack deploy something that no longer works? Time to fire some people, and either hire competent people, or just put back what used to work and keep it unchanged and out of the hands of the incompetent.
Bit useless for the War of the Worlds
Great for most other things though probably
Was a great app once
I used to be able to focus on the artists I wanted to follow. Now I get information on people I am not interested in. I contacted Songkick and asked how to cleanse my follow list, they didn’t offer any assistance
Notifying Way Too Late
Most of the notifications I get for “new” concerts that I’d be interested in come several weeks and sometimes months after tickets go on sale. The app should add shows before pre-sale of tickets. Fix this, and I’ll come back. Otherwise, great UX/UI.

Sold out to AI Music
Got the update that they sold out to the worst offender. Suno is in court for stealing multiple artists songs without their consent. Why do I want to support anything that is the antithesis of supporting REAL music artists?! Burn in hell.
Wrong bands tagged
I love the app most of the time it’s great but a few times it’s tagged the profiles of artists with similar names in the lineup but it’s not actually that band playing. E.G: I got a notification saying “new events from ghost” and went to see what it was, it had the rock band “Ghost” listed in the lineup for waterworks festival 2024 but the band isn’t playing that festival a different artist under the name “The Ghost” is playing. Just a bit annoying but otherwise the app is great! This has also happened when a tribute band plays and instead the list the original in the lineup. Just gets your hopes up just to be disappointed when you realise/ check the actual events lineup on its website.
Weird
Every single time I go on the app it adds loads of random artists to my tracked artists?? People I don’t even listen to either and I have to go through and remove loads of people. So annoying
Works well when tracking is right
Doesn’t sync very well with your local lib or Spotify. I reached out to the team a few times and they weren’t able to explain why it’s bugged. A lot of artists missing. But for the ones that are tracked it works well

Helps me see what’s in my area without much effort
Cheapened by AI
I am disappointed in the lack of regard for the sanctity of music as an expression of the human spirit (i.e., emotions, experiences). Partnering with Suno is a lousy choice; you will reap what you sew.
Great but…
Used to love this app but the last few times I’ve tried to use it, nothing works. “hey it broke, retry?” Is all that shows up when I try to see my followed artists. If it gets fixed it’s easily one of my favourite apps.
No upcoming gigs !?
So many times it says there are no upcoming gigs but when I do a google search, it shows gigs coming to my area. Not very accurate and means potentially missing out on live music.
hit and miss
Useful, but the AI or whatever it uses will get confused by bands with similar names and generate shows that don’t exist
Best site to learn who is coming
Best app/website to learn who is coming to town
AI-canceling
I’m deleting my account and app now that I heard they’re going to give all my data to AI and were bought by Suno the ai company
Not designed for iPad!
Awful on the iPad. It says it’s compatible but you get a tiny iPhone sized screen. Strange when the desktop version is so good with all your profile history and concerts you’ve been to etc. and yet the trimmed down iPhone version has none of that, it’s just a glorified search engine. And that lesser version is simply used on the iPad with no screen sizing to fill the screen. It’s terrible in landscape mode. I switched to BandsInTown instead and that is iPad perfect.
Better than most but glitchy
Search features are nearly good (although you can only search one location at a time), but the real let-down is the terrible glitching where the list of concerts starts jumping about (presumably somethings updating or trying to fit items onto the list), which makes it unusable.
Wouldn’t it be good..?
Wouldn’t it be good if iCal sync worked? Even if it was for just one day? Wouldn’t be good if it just worked without the pain? Wouldn’t it be good to make it seamless? Updates you make appearing instantly! Wouldn’t it be good if it could all look the same?
Amazing
Probably the best app to track bands coming to your town. Turn on notifications, sink your Spotify , never Miss a show
Used to be good for live music
It got bought by an AI music company. The whole point of the app is about seeing live music on stage performed by real humans.
some shows not listed
sometimes i will see a show online somewhere and go to this app to add it to an interested list or something and the shows wont be on there
Becoming unreliable
I’ve been using this for years, but recently it has failed to flag up concerts by some of my favourite artists, and the recommendations I get are often for folk I don’t follow or have the least interest in. What’s up?
Feedback
You could improve the filtering for artists and location, remove past events and connect to various other apps to ease everything, some A/B testing could help
Xst

owned by Suno
the company that’s built around stealing songs and using them to generate soulless imitations of music has bought a concert tracking app. disgusting.
Auto track location
Good app but make it so that your location is automatically tracked otherwise it’s an annoying app to use
Used to be fab
Going to try & dl once more & if it doesn’t g back to how it used to be I’m giving up. Now you have to sign in & out all the time, it loses yr gig plans & tracked artists. Such a shame.
Going downhill
This app used to be great. I’m finding that I’m having to login almost every time I use it. This probably explains the missing notifications.
Doggy Daddy
Great concert source
No concerts
Unable to view concerts in my city
Songkicker
I’m already logged into Instagram.
It’s gone off the rails
I used to use this app all the time but recently it’s become useless. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. I assume it’s developed technical issues, hopefully these are resolved soon as it’s becoming unusable.
Used to be very good
This app used to be my favourite but since it’s been updated I can’t see the whole list of gigs that I’m planning to go to. It only shows a few months and that’s it. I used to see all of the gigs that I’m interested in and now it’s hard to plan things because they changed the app unnecessarily.
