So good price
Not working
I’ve first year apprentices that do a better job than this app. This update is a total disaster
Great setup and consistent ui.
Easy to use once familiarised and to find whatever boat you might be after.
Glitchy
Searches frequently crash and it says no boats available.
Geographic location & Broker identification
When wanting to find where the boat is located it is arduous to find who is broker & where boat is located. To state it is in NSW could mean 800 km away. As for QLD, it is even worse. Dump the mystery of hiding this info & just state who is broker & where they are. Yachthub & Boats on line are far superior in this and other functionality. Also the details of boat attributes is in majority of cases quite inferior & of little benefit in evaluating the merits of the boat.
Top app
Easy to use. Had a good amount of inquiry’s
Not showing selection
App was working great until about 2 weeks ago. Now with the selection criteria it says ‘see xx boats’ but then when you click on it, it says no available boats. Some of these are saved and I know still available but they are showing nothing.
Lots of enquires and very few responses
90 % of my enquirers have had no responses and the next day I receive a message telling me interest is increasing so be quick to purchase, obviously from my own interest. And you can’t write a review because all the nicknames are taken?
Practically useless
There are no prices on new boats and sorting by price makes no difference. You’ll see a tinny and 40ft yacht on the same page
Older versions were much better
Location search criteria is now useless
Great
Perfect
Rubbish, great example of lack of competition.
This app was working great upto 2 weeks ago, now with the unrelated or wanted advertising popping up I don’t get to see the boats I want. Do the people who are paying to advertise their boats know that no one can see any boat adverts?
Adds
Too many adds throughout.
Boat Sales Review
Of all the major sites this one rates the lowest. Photos are FAR to small. You do not get enough boat detail
Luxury
Nice to be Abundant Lack was my family’s curse
Turning Blue
Dumbest idea you’ve ever had. For such a smart company to turn all apps blue when the colour coding worked perfectly and when your logos styles differentiated you from your competitors, seems to show a change for change sake mentality rather than truly innovative change. As with all dumb changes periodically made by even successful companies, most people just accept it because they couldn’t be bothered to speak up and most companies don’t do anything about it because the key decision maker won’t ever admit he or she made a dumb mistake. 😳
Search functionality is lacking
I found it too difficult to search for what Im looking for, I have to scroll past endless boats that are nothing that I am interested in, I eventually gave up.
Boat advice buy Laura
The articials are easy reads for novice boaters and great tips and photo shows true love for reacteatonal fishing and boating a great asset to boat sales
Has some issues
A) can’t find any feedback option on the website B) links from email alerts open the webpage not the app C) the frame on the website displaying pictures is way too small and can’t be maximised.
Doesn’t need much to be a whole lot better
I am currently looking for a boat over 30 foot. There is a lot of rubbish in the system where people will put a 17 foot boat as 17 metres, so it shows their boat as being longer than a Sydney ferry and then you see a photo of a trailer boat. it is not checked (no qc) before the ad is uploaded. Also this boat share stuff should be in its own category. You want pay a premium to use a boat for an 1/8 of a year when the weather is wet and windy like the butchers cat do it somewhere else.
Fantastic
Great app and so easy to navigate.
Hopeless upgrade
Well the old Boatsales was great and easy to use , now this new upgrade is telling me I can’t download the upgrade and by the preview is just too much hard work to use . Also the boat description is so limited that I have to go to Boatsonlinine to get a decent description . In my opinion the ones who did this upgrade and approved it need a pat on the shoulder on their way out ,
Not suited to iPads
On an iPad using app there is no option to compare boats. Disappointing.
Mr

Search
I think it would be great if you could save your search so you don’t have to do it every time.
Boatsales
Awesome app
Please don’t change the colours of your apps.
Please don’t change the colours of your apps. That’s how I distinguish between these apps. If they’re all the same colour, because I have them grouped together (like other people I know do), I’m constantly going to be clicking into the wrong app. Please reconsider.
Review
App freezes a lot and when you look at an add and try to go back it takes you back to the top of the page and you have to scroll all the way down again. Also shows the first two ads twice as you scroll through. Also a pain to switch between Carsales, Boatsales and caravan sales. Needs three seperate app or make it easy to switch between them
I heart Boatsales 😍😘😘😗😍😝🙂😛
Great app love the amount of boats
Terrible
The app is so buggy I’m surprised you are still in business. Spent an hour trying to post an ad from iPhone 16 pro max and it glitched out on every screen until I gave up and went elsewhere
Needs a LOT of work.
The “Boatsales” application “does what it says on the label”, but it could definitely do with some work. For a start, why do I keep seeing the “reCAPTCHA” security challenges? I mean, I get that it’s because I’m connected online via my VPN - but whilst a website might need “reCAPTCHA” security challenges, a locally-installed application should not (which is why I don’t see this in other applications I have installed)! Then there’s all the “Get price” stuff... Why on Earth can we not apply a filter to hide all of these entries? Honestly, I don’t want to scroll though a million “Get price” entries, just to see the vessels with an actual price listed! Lastly, why does it have to be so hard to find houseboats? The “Boatsales” website has a link to immediately browse all of the houseboats currently for sale, but thus far, I have been unable to find a similar option in the “Boatsales” application... I should be able to open “Boatsales”, click “Houseboats” and see a complete list of all the houseboats currently for sale. At the time of writing, “Boatsales” is - as best I can tell - the definitive application for selling and purchasing marine vessels in Australia, and for that reason alone, it is recommended... But don’t be fooled - this application is “nothing to write home about” and needs a LOT of work before anyone can call it something special.
