Helpful information
This app has been helpful in narrowing down hunting boundaries. The app used to crash when clicking on my location but the bug appears to have been fixed and hasn’t had any dramas since.
App crashes
I go to use the hunting tab and the app doesn’t display properly. I have to delete then re-download everytime I need to use it
Great start but hunting features not working
Overall the app is really good. The interface works well and it’s great to see DEECA investing in an app for outdoor enthusiasts. Current issues: Filter by hunting game: When the hunting overlay is applied only the pest animal areas show up. If you switch to any of the deer types or ducks etc. the overlay disappears and the app needs to be restarted. Tap for more information: The user guide says that you can click on an area ie. a state forest and see what type of game is allowed to be hunted in that area. This doesn’t seem to be working in iOS I am using an iPhone 15 pro

App difficulties
As of 14/07/25, the app has continuously failed to open on my phone. With multiple friends and associates experiencing the same problem. Prior to that it was a very handy app for highlighting designated hunting areas. And adding an additional measure to aid in the assurance of hunting in a lawful hunting area.
Maps not loading on iPad 10th gen
Great app and has great information across many different activities however map does not load on iPad 10th gen
Latest update removed hunting
I use this app to find safe places for hunting, it was great because I knew where I could safely and legally go. In the latest update the tab has been removed!!! This is awfully unsafe! Bring it back!
Good App to have!
Wow! What a tough crowd of reviewers! This App is 108MB of knowledge that I didn’t have previously and it’s FREE! Why the hate? I use Gaia GPS and Billy Goat for 4WD navigation, route planning and campsites etc. This App is an awesome supplement as I can see road closures and current news updates that’s not available to me otherwise. What’s not to like? And did I mention it’s free? Keep up the good work ‘DELWP’, pat on the back from me!
Was great but technical issues
The app use to be brilliant. Clear maps, great for hunting and being out in the bush. However recently the app opens and immediately crashes. I’ve tested it on multiple devices and the same thing occurs. Any chance this is getting fixed soon?

This app keeps crashing and freezing my phone. Please sort this issue out, it’s been ongoing for months.
NEWS tab wifi connection issues
The news tab on the bottom of the home page says “No Internet Connection”, (even though it is working for me, the bar shows and web browser and search engine pages load fine), it could be a bug from the developers end.

Map is still blank on iPad
The map does not display on iPad. A review comment from July 2023 ago says this was fixed, but here we are at the end of November 2023 with a blank map. I deleted and reinstalled the app, but still have no map. The app is reasonably good on iPhone.

As per the title! Ironically the version (1.9.7) releases notes state "... increased app stability ..." 😂.

Great for state forests but not parks
Wish Parks Vic would add all other parks and reserves to it. It’s limited to state forests only. So much potential to be a single go-to app for outdoor adventures. Please read this feedback Parks Vic!
Constantly bugs out
App is useless, open the app just for it to glitch and shut down sending me back to my Home Screen. I delete and reinstall the app only for it to open the map once just for it to glitch and bug out again. It was good when it used to work
App crashing.
Your app keeps crashing, multiple people have also experienced this. And you don't seem to do anything about it. If you open the app in the hunting category then close the app then open it again it will keep on crashing. Only way to fix this is uninstall the app completely then download it again. You can't shut the app down if you're using it, have to keep it open in a tab otherwise you will have to do that whole process again.

Keeps crashing taking my ipad with it requiring me to restart the device. Tried deleting app and reloading but still no good. Not even close to Hunt NSW in quality of mapping which is superior in every way. Considering the fees we pay surely the socialist utopia of Victoria could provide something usable.
