Wow
Love the app so much so many great story’s 100% recommend I’ve been listening on this since I was 6 now I’m 17!!
Not downloading
I love this app so much but since the upgrade it won’t let me download any books. Every time i try it shuts the app down
Love it
I love that it gives such easy access to a wide array of Church literature for a relatively affordable price (I have the plus subscription). Only negative I can think of is sometimes when I click on books it doesn't give me a description and I have to go to the Deseret website to find out what the book is about.
Buggy
I'm constantly having to delete and re-download this app, it's really frustrating and if it doesn't stop soon I think I'll have to cancel my subscription.
Disappointed
Since the upgrade nothing works properly anymore. So frustrating because I no longer have access to any of my downloaded products. Too busy to actually look into and follow up what the problem is.
Not User Friendly
Trying to set up a Bookshelf Plus account but can’t sign up. There is nowhere you can visibly see where to sign up and no help function to show you what to do.
Very good
This is a great LDS sight with some great specials from time to time. So many resources you can get confused as to which product to choose.
Crashing Regularly
Great app but I've found that this version is crashing regularly. The only fix that I've found is to delete the app and reinstall it every 'couple of days' (serious!). I've emailed Deseret about this problem, so hopefully a patch will be along soon.
Great for my faith study, Split View on iPad would be perfect
Love the app and being able to carry great uplifting faith resources with me on the go. What would make this app perfect, in my opinion, if it could have split view or side view enabled for apple iPad devices. It used to allow it but now it doesn’t. I love having the gospel library open in conjunction with this app when I am studying.
CRASHES
I haven't been able to use this app from my iPhone only my iPad for months. It's so frustrating not being able to access my books. PLEASE FIX THE APP!!!!!!
Page Numbering
Would love to give five stars because this app deserves five. But can only give 4 because of the lack of page numbering and the lacking ability to annotate with more than lines and basic notes.
Db
I read from this with no problem in the past....but lately it is not allowing me to access my books. It only shows the last book. It's not letting me access anything from the cloud or what I've purchased at all to read. Frustrating.
Bookshelf app LDS
I’m so happy to be a part of this community and I’m happy for this application because it’s so important to me as I’m needing to get this application started for my future teaching LDS Sunday primary school 🏫 students any updates please let me know thank you so very much for your assistance creating this application 🙏
Thumbs down
Sorry but this is not very useful to me, I don't know how I missed this to be Mormon. I thought it was just another ereader like iBooks
Excellent App
This app is awesome for scripture study as you are able to highlight leave notes, look up key words etc. Love 😍that I can read with a black background so much easier on the eyes. Still discovering more features of this app, there is so much you can do with it.
Clean, uplifting literature
I love reading and love having access to literature I can trust at a reasonable subscription cost. As so many books are available on audio (although my first preference is still reading) I now listen to books instead of the radio while driving and particularly enjoy when the author reads the nonfiction books. I would prefer that the title of the book appears at the top of every page and need to find a better way to keep track of what I have actually read and not just opened to look at.
Ugh!
How did I miss this was Mormon? If you're not, you won't find it helpful. :(
It's good
It's a pretty good app. +: Having scrollbars is very good as it allows us to scroll quickly to a location within the chapter. -: Doesn’t have the ability to add hyperlinks. Will be a “very great” app if we could 1) add hyperlinks (within a book as well as to other books, and URLs) so we can just tap to go there (and have the ability to come back of course; really need to have this feature when doing serious studying). 2) have tilt scrolling (which can be found in some old apps where speed and direction is controlled by tilting phone away or towards user) so we won’t have to swipe every few seconds as we read.
Great resource
I love the audio books and the varied assortment of material - big fan
Great app
Great app use it all the time, but sometimes not always able to use the cloud would love to have my books on my devise
Wealth of knowledge
Love having the opportunity of so many books, audio available at a affordable price. Downloaded so many. Enjoying reading/listening to my favourites authors.
They have fixed almost everything
I am running iOS 9.1 and it works just fine now. Thank you for the update fix. Apart from the odd crash of the app it works great. Still has a few audio books that don't load on the app like Missionary Essentials by Ed J. Pinegar. And can you please enable iOS features like copying text and speak selection if people have that option turned on.
Life impacting app.
Absolutely amazing app. Practical and functional usage to enhance and amplify your faith journey. Just at your fingertips and disposal are some of tools and resources that equips you to mitigate and navigate the vast arrays of complex issues and needs you may have. Thoroughly worth having. Enjoy!
The perfect insomnia companion
Great app, I love being able to read without a separate light on when I can't sleep or am up with a baby!!
BRILLIANT
It is just awesome , so much and more of what you’ll ever need to be inspired up lifted , great reads , great subscriptions .. LOVE IT *************
Not bad
Nice improvements but it now requires signing in every couple of hours when returning to the app. Also, when returning to the app, without having closed it, current chapter reading position is lost and it returns to the beginning of the chapter.
Fantastic App
Easy to use. Great range of ebooks and audiobooks.
Deseret app
Love the app how it accesses books written by our prophets and other authors. I would not normally read other church materials but after downloading this app, I know I can be inspired to do. The only negative thing is that marking certain things can be tricky as the marking part is sensitive to navigate.
