Don’t give these folks your money ….
Loaded some funds to pay a bill on a Sunday couldn’t get in touch with anyone. Online registration, downloaded the app, etc. to no avail. Don’t waste your money & time

The app isn’t that bad, it’s actually very easy to use however Amex customer service line is a (BAD) JOKE!! I called repeatedly yesterday got all the way to the end to “press 1 to reset password on my account” and the stupid recording would ONLY start speaking in Spanish after I chose option 1!! And it happened multiple times!!!

I bought a pay as you go card. It made me register now. I can’t even pay my bill or transfer money
I bought this pay as you go surf card. It says you can instant activate paid bills and etc. move money to your other account and for some reason it does not let me every time I denies it and then I had to set up an account and it’s saying register the card they’re supposed to send me card that tells me I have a balance on it shows on the same exact account that I registered on and all I have is a literally checking account number and routing number. This is getting very confusing for some reason. I cannot pay my Consumers bill and I cannot move money from this Serve debit Visa that I got from pay as you go from the store and they made me register into an online account and now I need to know how to work to very very confusing and I cannot get a hold of no customer support

I use the Amex Serve card with ease! I hope American Express will reconsider ending this Card in mid 2026.

This is the best card ever and they’re discontinuing it! I’m going to serve Visa instead of the American Express Hands-down the best card ever

U have pay for everything they charge u extra if u buy food with card !! Charge u monthly if u using the card the hold month and making transactions!! I don’t recommend anybody to this service !!

I prefer the Amex debit account more than my Wells Fargo checking account. With the discontinuance of the Serve account..is there something similar that Amex may offer me. Please advise. Kenneth Bernas

One of the worst cards you could possibly get!!
Don’t put any money in any serve account or card, has been 5 days since I’ve activated my card and still can’t use any of the money in the account, there is zero numbers to call for actual help only AI automated messages, looking to sue these people and shut this whole alleged scam down

Worst day of my life
I couldn’t make an account even though I already put money on my card. This app is stressing me out. I’ll never ever use this app ever again in my life.
It’s PATHWARD whos On their game
I’ve Dealt With ALL of the Major debit card entities and I’ve noticed that PATHWARD bank is pretty much as good as it gets in THIS area of Financial niche.
Why update?
Why spend time updating the app when Amex is doing away with serve? Makes no sense. Edit. 6 7 2026. Card no longer works in wallet on iPhone. What a waste.
Wonderful App
Going to miss this app they only charged a $1 each month which isn’t bad at all but I switched to Chime seeing how it was similar to this one going to miss this app and the perks that came with it
Fees on top of other fees
Unexpected fees for a monthly and on top of that pay fees to load up and bought the card … very unexpected and very not satisfied.. I’ll never deal with again.

This is one of the best apps and useful I have ever used. I cannot imagine what would happen if it goes away
Can’t do anything with my money
The first transaction went well then no more money could be added so I had to use this app and the barcode to add more money, they forced me to put my info for a “personalized card” now I can’t use the first card for anything. I don’t know if the system is down or am I gonna have to wait for the personalized card or what… Can’t shop online, can’t add it to Apple Pay, can’t transfer to App Store, nada. Also no way to get in contact with a human with the phone numbers provided.

Where is the VISA app, this opens the closing American Express app only? The American Express Serve opens but the VISA Serve does not offer an app; you must login each time you need this one, and therefore disrupts bill pay. Update reply: if it’s on American Express, you cannot also have the Visa. It does not work like you are trying to tell me because you cannot use your Visa account while American Express is still open. They have not yet closed completely.

My Go To. It’s been a good ride here with Serve. I have been using this AMX Serve for many moons. Have enjoyed every step of the way. Cannot imagine my day to day without you. I guess I will learn. Thanks All 👋🏽
My serve card
I never received my card and with the prepaid card is limited to what you can and can’t withdraw. This card I have had a lot of problems with getting my funds off the card
