I’ve had Direct Express for more than 20 years. Never had an issue. One suggestion make a new card design would be great.

Withdrawing cash
I can never transfer my cash to other accounts or I can rarely just add cash to another account that my card is linked to! It always says insufficient funds when clearly I have the funds! If it does let me add cash it decides how much, one day could be 100$ another day just 25 that will be that days limit too! It’s crazy and not convenient by any means! Yet they’ll pay things that are straight out of character for me!!! Leaving me financially screwed and in a severe hardship! They say if your card is locked they won’t cover new purchases yet they have and I lock my card now immediately after using it which is a pain to lock every time but if I don’t who knows what they’ll pay, bcuz they have paid things when it was locked. New subscriptions they say they won’t cover unless on autopay , but it can’t be a new purchases yet they have!!!

Horrible company go to Cashapp if you get ssi you will get paid almost a week early.this company will give you back Money when you report fraud or authorized stuff on your card and then take it all back and I can prove it .they sent me a letter and said charges on my card were unauthorized so that I was getting credit the same minute they put it in the card they took it right back off. Now trying to call them and find out why.and guess what no answer and when they do they accidentally hang up on you.its the worst customer service I’ve ever seen in my life. For a hour I recorded on video them hanging up and switching me from dept to dept about 7 times. It makes no sense. Everyone needs to stop using them.

Using this app is like using analog. It’s outdated and it’s like a dinosaur. It definitely does not provide the options needed for a banking..

NOT A GOOD CHOICE
The company and agency that came up with this card is a joke!! The card chip wears out every year therefore you will have to order a new card if you need it right away it will be $5-$10 fee. When calling the customer service line they are foreigners that do not know how to verify the customers. Hold time is 45-60 minutes. Find your nearest local bank to have your funds deposited.

Inconvenient
For the nations disabled vets who get their benefits on this card, I apologize. No pay at the pump so disabled folks have to do more work to get gas than non disabled people. If there is fraudulent charges, as with most banks the victim is the last to be made whole, as is the case with DX. They also decline purchases that really is just an invasion of privacy to even be involved in. So- if you want a card that makes your money available to the world before you- then this is the card for you. Don’t believe me? Buy something online then take it back and see how again you are last to get your money back on the card. DX would like to thank you for allowing them to access and make decisions about your finances, bc the world is supposed to be able to do that. This is why people become Veterans, so they can be thanked for their service by being financially micromanaged. Yay!

I CANT WAIT TO GET OFF SSI I HATE IT HERE ITS HARD TO MAKE PURCHASES TO INVEST IN MY BUSINESS SO I CAN GET OFF THIS HORRIBLE HELPING HAND because NO ONE RECOGNIZES THE CARD. I can’t pay my bills half the time ever since COMMERCE STOPPED TAKING TRANSACTIONS FROM “popular establishments like Walmart 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 these people act like they can’t stand People being on SSI BUT MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU EVOLVE FROM IT … I always have to go out my way to invest and it makes evolvement that much harder

You have started to rob us
I don’t know why these changes have taken affect, but I always do a money transfer to my joint account and now I can’t. I always got money without having to pay a fee, now everyone is collecting one, even DX. I was always able to use it at my grocery store, gas station and other places I shop, now I can’t or I must go inside. I suffer severe PTSD so going into places isn’t always an option. Now we say, screw your issues because 16 million veterans times $3.25 is more important than them. I will be dropping this and just getting screwed by capitalist who don’t pretend they care about veterans. It is so much easier to accept. Don’t thank us for our service while stabbing us in the back.
Direct express SSI deposits
Safest way of keeping track of my money and locking it when i need to. I won’t change to another bank for direct deposit, I like knowing my money is safe and I always know when to expect it to arrive.
