Mini Pill updates
Definitely helps me take my pill! There are a fair few options but not all pills on there which is a little annoying like some of the UK brands aren’t on there. Please update to reflect more mini pill brands
Good app but needs to fix their problem with data!!!
This app is good for tracking your data and it gives you a lot of options for tracking symptoms, times of pills etc. However today I went to log my pill and the app has lost all my data. I had around 6 months backlog of my periods, pills, intimacy and stuff that I had tracked and it is all lost now. The app still functions but I’m just upset I have lost my data.
Free version doesn’t allow no break
I’m using the free version and it only allows me to have a 21 day pill pack and a break of 7 days, I can’t set it to take the pill continuously for 28 days. I therefore can’t keep using it because I can’t risk missing a pill in that 7 days. Disappointing as this is a common pill type, not everyone has a 7 day break. Also badge notifications don’t seem to work which would be useful for making sure I don’t miss a reminder
Best APP!!
I’ve been on this app for at least 10 years. Has kept me honest with my birth control. When I trying to get pregnant, it was easy to depict when I got pregnant. I’ve always used the free version! Very user-friendly !10/10 recommend!
Had to delete after years of use
I have loved and used this app since I was a teenager and loved the features accessible to me. Unfortunately, the features that made the app function well and serve its purpose have now been placed behind a paywall (note: it happened after roe v wade was overturned, thus using exploitative consequences to force profit). It’s extremely disappointing that the app prioritizes profit and paywalls that previously didn’t exist over functionality and integrity, and for those women who can’t afford the unspoken new paywall that silently made the app ineffective, the consequences are much worse. Very disappointed.
Good app but a little glitchy
Good app, great for reminders and you can change the layout so it works for your specific pill. Only niggle is if you mark that you’ve taken it, it continues to notify you for the rest of the day

Needs update! Problems/bug!!
When I switch to a new month for some reason it won’t let me press the pill as taken, which makes the alarm go off forever. It seems to resolve after the next day (hopefully) but no matter what I do it will not allow me to press the taken pill button. I’m open and close the app and everything and still it’s not working. Please update and fig these bugs!! Yes, I’ve been paid subscriber for 7 years. Other than that, I love the app . After you fix it, I’ll change my review and give you five stars.

Okay
The app is useful and Is very helpful to not forget pill or to communicate to others about symptoms or general knowledge, however the pill I’m on is locked and I have to pay for the premium to unlock it.
Easy app but not worth
The app is simple and and has a nice theme to it. I would enjoy using it a whole lot more if I could change the amount of pills in my pack without having to spend money. That’s just greed and taking advantage of users who don’t take a typical 21 day pack or continue on packs without a break or in my case since I breastfeed, a mini pill that doesn’t have placebos or breaks.
It’s only free if you have a certain pill
I was excited to have this reminder app until I realised that because I’m on 21:4, I would need to pay for it! It’s a shame because it’s a lovely app but not suitable for me.

This app has been very helpful to me, and I find that it’s been the best out of all of the apps on the market. However, the recent decision to lock even more features behind a paywall, specifically the ability to change your set break days/active days, makes the app essentially unusable without a subscription for users of the mini pill, for example. I am quite disappointed at the gatekeeping of more features of women and uterus owner’s health. If you use both the combined pill, and the standard way of taking them (3 active weeks, 1 week off), then the app is fine. But this is, of course, not all cases.

Love the app but…
I love this app don’t get me wrong I have never missed a pill since I had this app since 2019. I have been a premium member since 2019 and love being able to add notes, doctors appts, etc. I’m having an issue now when I try to add new symptoms the app immediately closes. I can’t add new notes it just force closes. I don’t know why this is happening. I will update my review when this is fixed. I reached out to support to just waiting on a response because I really want to be able to use all the app functions like I used to 😒

Somethings ok, other stuff pretty awful
There are some features that are alright, and other features that I feel are a complete joke and set up terribly. If you are looking for a calendar/symptom tracker/reminder app, it does the job just fine. I do like the symptom tracker and notes. It does include a lot of birth control forms too, so that’s nice. On the other hand, the forum between users is a mess. At first I thought the feature was nice, where people can ask unfiltered questions if they aren’t comfortable or able to get in contact with the doctor. Sounds like a great idea too. However, very quickly do I see users say “do your research” and “stop posting questions that people have asked before,” etc. What seems most troubling is that no one appears to be certified, unless they are certified with “clout” because they interact with the comments for YEARS. I have a problem of people writing as if they are professionals. Just because you have researched the pill, or have taken it, does not mean you understand how other people’s bodies respond. My other note is that there can be little compassion towards people who are at different levels of understanding. Yes, I can read the papers on the pill, and look up stuff online, but some people have trouble processing and applying that information. On top of that, pregnancy scares are no joke, and sometimes you need support and help processing. Too many times I’ve read “stop asking questions other people have already asked,” or “just take the information you were given and stop asking” feels very compassionless to the situation. So if you want to post questions, my caution is that some of these women can come off very compassionless because they keep answering similar questions (on their own will too, no one said they had to respond to everyone). I can understand user frustration on both ends, but at the end of the day I think some people really need support through an insecure/uncertain time. By all means, this is a simple tracker, and does the job. It’s not an app I am enthusiastic about, but it’s hard to be excited over a pill calendar. It’s a 10/10 ranking for the tracking part. If you are looking forward to the forum, understand that it’s highly flawed, and extremely questionable on how helpful it can be. 3/10 ranking for the user interaction.

NuvaRing
This app makes it so easy for me to remember to insert and removed my birth control ring!! It was awesome when I first stitched from Mirena IUD to the ring because I was able to track my symptoms and understand my period again.
Not worth the price paid
I have a reminder set for 3:30pm in my correct time zone. For whatever reason it notifies me at 3:00!! This isn’t the correct time. I paid $13.99 for the app and I wish it worked properly.
I have paid for a memebership but hasn’t gone through
I paid £11.99 forever membership, the money has gone out of my account & when I try to do memebership only privileges, it’s asking me to become a member I would like to become a member as I appreciate the facilities the app has, but why has my account not registered the membership? I can give you my email and details etc
Major subscription issues for over a year now
I really loved this app when I first started using it. I even signed up for the monthly subscription cause it was super cheap and why not!! However about a year later I started experiencing issues with the app. I would go on the app and it would tell me to purchase the premium membership almost every time. Then other times it would work as normal, considering the fact I literally had a monthly subscription that would automatically be automatically renewed every month… I kept experiencing the same issue over and over except this time recently the app would not go back to normal and I was continually being told to purchase a premium membership. Come to find out the reason being was they raised their prices and the price that was being renewed automatically in my Apple subscriptions were less than what was supposed to be paid. After realizing this I renewed my subscription and paid $15 total for a forever membership almost a week ago. After doing this I thought everything would be fine but boy was I wrong. Went back on the app today and once again it’s telling me my subscription is expired and I need to renew AFTER JUST PAYING $15 FOR THE FOREVER MEMBERSHIP!! This is beyond me and pretty annoying to say the least. I contacted support about this so let’s see how that goes at this point because to be honest I’m on the verge of just getting my money back and using a different app🤷🏼♀️
Selections need to be updated
iPhone 12 my drop down boxes are in the extreme bottom right corner. It is almost completely off the screen. This could use some updates.

i’ve paid for a subscription TWICE and it still says the same thing. “Error”. supposedly it’s a wifi issue but i paid and it’s still ongoing just for it to keep saying error. this is a scam. I’ve contacted the company and no response.

You need a membership to edit
It was fine at first until I realized it didn’t put the correct info for my pill packet in. To do that you need to pay a membership which is so stupid. Deleted after 2 weeks

I used to like this app but I’ve changed my pill and I no longer have a break on my pill but I have to pay in order to change this setting on the app. No longer able to use the app
Best app ever!
I love this app and thanks to this app I can keep track of my birth control everyday. Been using this app since January 2019 and it has been the best thing in my life ever since. Super reliable!
They just want you to upgrade
Not helpful if you need reminders until you take the pill, that is of course if you sign up for the subscription. Not worth it in my opinion as there are other apps that are not birth control oriented that still offer the same option in terms of reminders. If you are good and remember to take it and don’t need reminders than this is for you. Otherwise be prepared to be bombarded by requests from them to upgrade. NOT worth it!
Works great but doesn’t communicate with Apple Watch
Works great! My only complaint is that the watch app doesn’t communicate with the iPhone app. I will mark a pill as taken and the watch app still sends a reminder.
Used to be great
I’ve been a long time user of myPill, but I have decided to uninstall this today. It’s been telling me that I’ve missed my pill and that I am unprotected, even though I’ve been marking it as “pill taken” on time. The reminder also keeps on popping up/ringing even after I’ve marked it as taken sometimes. It just did it again as I was typing this review! I thought that it will just clear itself up after a few updates but I don’t think that’s coming up anytime soon. Too much bug and not it’s just not worth it anymore.
Data Protection
I wish I could lock the app, so my data can be protected. This is not possible without a premium subscription, which none of the other features I do not need or want.
Great app
I’ve used this app for about 6 years and it’s the best one for period tracking and pill reminders. I’ve tried others because I liked the feature that it would give me other more in depth insights into my period and cycle, but this by far always had the best pill tracking so I could 100% sure I didn’t miss one. I hope it’s keeps updating!
App loses track of pills taken
This was my last time trying this app. The reminder will go off and I’ll mark a pill as “taken” then 5 min later the alarm goes off AGAIN and I open the app and it shows the pill was taken but the reminder will keep going off… why? Then the next day I’ll go in and it’ll show I missed 1-3 days of pills. I didn’t… Every pill has been taken and logged on time. I’ve downloaded and used this app multiple times over the years, I’ve updated it, I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app and it’s a consistent issue. When I eventually do miss a pill I can’t rely on the app to track it to use back up methods because this app sure isn’t reliable. I’m better off setting an alarm on my phone and using google calendar to document I missed a pill than this app. This has been a 2+ year issue.

I have pretty severe ADHD, which I help manage in part with medications including the pill. This app was great, because I could name my reminder whatever I wanted, and it gave me multiple reminders to take my pill so even if I impulsively swept up on the notification, another would be ready after a set increment of time. The past few nights I have been multiple hours late because my phone never reminded me. Or if it did, it wasn’t enough times for me to even remember (which is another reason I use this app, I have trouble remembering days/weeks and medications being taken and have double dosed other meds). I just found out it’s because the “snooze” feature has been made a premium-only feature, as well as naming your reminder, setting a custom sound (mine was the window knock), etc. It’s like a $1.30 a month or $7.99 “for life” which isn’t awful but it is extremely concerning that other users as forgetful and dependent on this app as I am may have missed pill days and are at risk of pregnancy because they didn’t get their other reminders. I’m hoping that I just missed a big, shows-up-upon-launching-the-app reminder that told everyone what was going to be behind a paywall, instead of the alternative of just not making it immediately known to every user. Especially when considering the consequences of missing pills. And I payed for premium, just to let my review reflect that I really do depend on this app. It’s worth it but I’m not very peachy about it.
I paid for premium, I updated the app and now I dont have premium anymore
Great app. It reminds me to take my pill which is awesome.... but I paid for premium like 3 years ago and yesterday I updated the app and my premium was gone and it says that I have to pay again. Very frustrating.
Just an ok app
It does it’s job of reminding me to take my pills and I can track my period with it but it doesn’t connect to my health app. I can also track my water intake with it but again it doesn’t save to my health app and I’m not sure how to go back and look at it after the day is over. I’ll keep the app because I paid for it but to me it’s not worth it 🤷♀️
Just got it and it’s not working
I just got it and I get the subscription and you can make a password so I made one but now when I open the app it ask for a password i type it in but it still doesn’t open . So now k can’t even access the app
Sketchy As Heck
Stay away! Install at your own risk! I really liked this app for like 2 days until I opened up my email to see I somehow purchased a “Premium Membership” upgrade. I never even KNEW there was a premium membership until I was charged for it. There was NO checkout screen, password/fingerprint purchase confirmation, NOTHING indicating somehow I was about to buy an upgrade. After being charged, I went into the app description and the details state the membership is OPTIONAL. Nothing about a free trial, and certainly nothing informing me about being forced to buy a membership. Apps in the App Store tend to get away with a lot of crap, but this is downright thievery. And according to some other previous user reviews, I’m not the only one who’s had this issue either. Stay away from this app! Find another one of the many birth control calendar apps out there.
can you rearrange the order of the pills?
is there a way to rearrange where the placebo pills are in the app. i would like it to be the same as it is in my pack? currently my placebo pills (2) are placed at the end, but in my actual pack its in the beginning of my last week. also paid for the premium features 🥴
Doesn’t always work
I bought the paid version so I could have 2 reminders Incase I was at work, but often when I hit “pill taken” I will keep getting notifications telling me to take my pill. I even tried going in and deleting that I took the pill and re-entering it, but nothing seems to work. It happens 2-3x a week. It’s annoying to get notifications every 20 minutes for 3 hours for no reason.
Used to be good
I have had this app since the 3rd or 5th generation of IPhone because it was the only one that tracked the ring. I had to pay $14.99 every time I got a new phone to keep track because it was my only option. And it would actually do that. I didn’t have to check every month. It would send the notifications, and I’d be good. I was excited when I got the iPhone X and finally saw the basic function I used was no longer part of the premium content. That was December 2019. Now, it only notifies me sometimes. Is it because the app is needy and wants me to check in every time I put in and take out or because I’m not on premium content anymore? I checked my settings, and they’re in order. I even set the notification to stay longer. What do I have to do to get a working app again? It is messing up my schedule.
