Absolute disgrace
I paid £9.99 for a subscription a week ago and now it's saying I'm not subscribed and I can't watch the friendly despite paying for city plus. Have tried to get in touch with support and via dms but no reply. What an absolute waste of money.
It keeps signing me out of the app
The app is an amazing app and I love the way it works but it is constantly signing me out of the app and it takes me about 20 minutes to get back in it
Too many notifications
I understand that Man City has a women’s team and an EDS team, but I only follow the men’s team. There needs to be a way to disable notifications for non-men’s team activities. Also, the app signs me out every time I sign in.
Fixtures all disappeared
Hi just updated,(this morning) and all the fixtures have disappeared from the fixture tab, everything else is working fine- is it a bug?
BEST TEAM IN THE LAND AND ALL THE WORLD
CITEH CITEH CITEH CITEH
Doesn’t work on Apple TV
I’ve tried all the suggested fixes but the app still says I have no internet connection.
Ok
It’s good i go for 3 teams man city, Barca and Celtics and I think this is the best one like I wouldn’t have known de bruyne retired because I live in Australia 🇦🇺
Where are the players?
Surprised to find that the newest update of the app neglects to include the most basic function critical to any sports app: a roster of the team’s players.
Confusing
The Citizen’s section is poorly organised. If you press the wrong button it flicks you out and you have to log back in again..
Best app for a city fan
I’m a city and it’s the best
tvOS not working?
tvOS not working? Sad! 😭
Apple TV app not working.
The sheer amount of content the team produces puts all other teams to shame. But it’s a pity the Apple TV app no longer seems to work. It was a tremendous experience to have it all at the touch of a remote. Casting from a phone is a sub-par experience in comparison. Please reinstate the Apple TV app!
Below par
App never saves my login so I have to login every time. Also does not allow you to pick and choose what notifications are sent. I don’t care about the woman’s game, stop shoving it in peoples faces.
Decent but many bugs
It show lots of highlights of the matches but I don’t understand why it keeps asking me to log in even though I’m already logged in.Also whenever I try to use the citizens feed it says there is always a problem with something when I want to do the competitions. And I dot. Get why you should have to pay to watch full match replays and 20 minute highlights.
Amazing
Absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!!
iPhone log in
Was a happy google phone user, but now have iPhone and cannot access my account on my iPhone app. I can still use my old phone when I reinstalled the app, so I know my id and password are correct, and I can access the website. I’ve tried loads of times to access my account on the iPhone app with no luck.
notification issue
this is a really great app by an excellent team but the down side is i dont want wsl notifications
Crushing
Awesome app but it’s crushing wen you want to sign up for cityzen
Pay to be a fan?
This used to be a great app. You could watch highlights & other videos… Now you can watch a stingy 2 min highlight or Pay for the stingy 8 min version. Not impressed with the greed.
Extremely good to navigate
This app feels the best to navigate out of all my football/sports apps! Well done Manchester City!
Not as good as the team.
The app constantly logs you out, asking you to login to the separate accounts for the ship, the tickets and the city + app. Clunky and unprofessional.. as for managing the tickets.. can’t upgrade child ticket to adult, can’t download cup tickets to the phone into a wallet, and have to use email as it’s errors.. generally not very good….
Rewinding
When listening the feed stutters and rewinds about 5 seconds and replays what you have heard. It’s only been happening this season. Really annoying.
CRASHING
Every time I try to watch a video it tells me to register or sign in, I'm already a member so I sign in but it keeps saying error! My password and info is all correct so I don't understand.
Men’s team
Why can’t I just select to see just things related to the mens team? Instead you dilute the content with drivel about the women’s team. I’m sure there are plenty that like this content and that’s fine but I don’t and can’t exclude it!
Amazing
Great app and great team the only thing i would recommend is to allow to add Manchester City citizens card to apple Wallet and Google wallet either than that amazing
Score predictor
City launch score predictor but I can’t access it through the app after getting full score for the last game. Gutted now I’ve done my homework for next match.
Cannot watch match replays without viewing the result
There is a major problem with the city+ match replay feature. If you want to watch the match replay it shows the result in letters size of a cat and spoils any excitement. Pretty amazingly stupid design.
Crashes
Crashes when fixtures is selected.
Inconsistent and frustrating at times
When trying to cast at home on city plus… I never know when the app is going to cooperate with me and when it’s not… Really wish you guys would fix the bugs on this because it’s really frustrating when I’m trying to avoid a score all day so I can cast the match later in the afternoon
Brilliant app for citizens
I love predicting matches and the lineups and I like watching the highlights and that it tells you on what program it’s on
Citizens
Nothing gets worse than this app this is rubbish u can’t watch games or u end up watching or listening to women football i don’t have time for women football
Great App Lads
I love City and this app helps me keep up with the scores. I have so many good things to say about this app but unfortunately I cant put it all in this review. If you dont like City I reckon you start cheering for them because Haaland is coming to town. All in all this is a great app.
Decent update, so much crashing
I'm running ios 7.04 (iphone 5) and the app crashes when you access anything from the drop down menu... So I haven't even been able to check out the entire app yet.. Only news feed..
Still some problems
Cannot add new person to my family and friends group. Tried for 3 days but the app keeps throwing me out.
Best app ever
I love the fact that you can buy tickets and watch all the highlights with city+
On Apple TV just shows “you are offline”
On Apple TV box, with latest iOS software and I’ve tried reinstalling. It just shows “you are offline, please connect to internet” (I’m not offline, I am connected to the internet”)
No dark mode
..
Good app but
The app is good my only problem with it is that 1 year since the iPhone 5 has been out and the app hasn't been updated to use the larger screen!! Plz fix
Great but needs improvement
Love the content however it doesn’t work on my sons older version of an iPad and also doesn’t work on my smart tv
City 💙💛❤️
I love this app because I love this team and foden is my fav
Rubbish
App difficult to use
Audio only
Can we please be able to listen to the matches with the screen off? Am i missing something?
Man City App
very disappointed with this app, almost all of the video ends up saying its unavailable, results weren't updated, nothing to write home about especially at the price
New update
Love the app, but since the new update it affects the screen view on the iPads. The screen is now horizontal and not vertical
AMAZING
It is amazing 5 stars
Man City are buns( no disrespect to the word buns)
Right, so bloody city have just won and got themselves into champions league, no point you will be out in round of 16
Update
When is the next update coming, can't watch video in landscape mode.
Overpriced
For the richest club 'in the world', I didn't think they'd stoop to fleecing the fans. Not worth $5.99.
Like the app, would like notification preferences.
I love using the app. It’s simple and easy to use, and perfect for supporting City. One thing I would like to be able to adjust is the types of notifications I am receiving like most other sports apps. I would love to be able to only allow notifications on my phone for game lineups, game start, goals, and final score. I stay current on everything else on my own. No disrespect to the women’s team, which I support, but I’d like to only receive notifications for the Men’s side. Thanks, Manchester is Blue!
