New “improved” app
Since updating the app I have been totally unable to access any content on my iPhone apart from watching the “Shorts” videos, absolutely nothing else functions any more. Very disappointed!!!
Cast function?
Enjoy using the app & was particularly pleased to see the Chelsea women v Real Sociedad was available to watch live and apparently to cast to my TV. However casting just searched endlessly for the network, even though other apps can find it. Am I missing something?
Text sizing in app
Please increase or add the ability to change text size. It’s too small for those who are visually impaired. Thank you
Great app!
Edit August 2026: The new app has had a few design issues: too many clicks to get to the list of matches and to get to the live audio broadcast. The fonts are so tiny on the match times they are impossible to read. The new logo is hideous compared to the old one, but of course that is a bigger issue. Original review: I love that you provide the live audio commentary, especially for the midweek games. Since I’m in the US I like to listen live at work and then watch the recorded game when I get home. I also like having a quick reliable way to find out start times and to review previous results.
CFC💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
I love CFC I love the app i love everything to do with Chelsea.
Latest update is a mess
The app was easy to use and get quick access to my ticket and now it’s a complete mess. To get to the fixtures I’ve ended going to other websites! Activating my ticket is this little section which isn’t very obvious.
Good update
The new CFC+ video service is great, but it’s a shame the club’s match day commentaries with Jason Cundy are now quite difficult to find. I missed the first goal of the Fulham game trying to locate the Listen Live button - it needs to be far more prominent, please
New update is buggy AF (08/26)
New update as of 17/08 is extremely buggy. Not what you’d expect from a fresh launch. Pages freeze. New personalised shirt icon just shows ‘YOUR NAME 00’ instead of what I chose and there’s no way of editing it. Some pages (‘Legal’) just show blank lists. App generally looks over-complicated and as a result not user-friendly. Pretty much in keeping with CFC over the last couple years. Come on Chels, do better.
Need improvements
The app is getting there but still needs works. The match yesterday was showing the wrong lineup, players in the wrong positions and slow compared to other sports app in terms of updates. Other apps reports Chelsea news faster than Chelsea app. And Can we have the comments sections back. It would be nice to interact with posit and other fans, have a chat. Agree on things or even disagree and debate.
My Club
The new app looks great
Dirk
Unable to download content blah blah blah
Does what you ask
Nothing really to complain about other than you can’t cast to a Chromecast because the app doesn’t ask for access to local network.
Terrible app on match day
Don’t bother if you are not signed in before the game. Signed up for the yearly subscription for the game. Can’t even watch it… app is terrible when busy…
New reskin not great
Since the start of the season they re skinned the app but now schedule and table are tucked away and formatted really badly. I prefer the cleaner more centralized version of schedule and table layout from before. With weekday associated with game dates.
Chelsea App
I like it, decent quality experience to be fair
Where are my loyalty points
Can’t find my loyalty points & nowhere in the menu to navigate to them. As the saying goes if it ain’t broke…
In-game Chat
Please bring back the in-game chat feature in the app. We had this before and I really enjoyed the chats. The feature was taken away and has not been restored. Please, bring it back
Normally good, now getting issues
Hadn’t had a problem for sometime with the app, purchased the CFC+ Annual Pass for all the pre season games and as of today I can’t access the match at all. Tried all the fixes. Logged out, deleted app and reinstalled, still not working. Really disappointing, appreciate it’s not a huge expense but really frustrating none the less.
iPad
Why is this app not made for iPad also. Come on you blues
Updated app
New app looks fresh.
2026 Update is awful
Style over usability. Last version was so easy to access my tickets. Now it’s overly complicated
Fans comments
Can the app have a section for fans to comment on issues
Live Game Audio
Yet again, updating the app has ruined the live streaming experience. The audio stream only works if the app is open: as soon as I try to switch apps, the audio cuts off.
Unbelievable poor performance
May be fine for checking out articles and what’s going on around the club, but the worst performing streaming app I’ve ever dealt with, which is a PAID service. Kicks you out of full-screen if you turn your phone, video playback stops every few minutes. I have to close and reopen app every 3 minutes to restart a preseason stream that cost $20 to watch. AWFUL
New App
I actually really like this new app, still seems easy to use but has more features. I don’t usually like changes to my apps, but this one seems good so far
App
So new update with the app, It’s about time you sorted the app out to work on iPads in landscape.
5 stars
Best football app for our club. So much content and information at our fingertips. Interface is also really clean! (Could we please get the match day check ins (virtual tickets back…) makes us fans not at the stadium feel a part of match day 💙 Up the Chels!
Full Screen issues
I have an iPad 7 gen. And every time I try to put the full screen on to watch hilights I loose 3/4 of the screen views. Can you fix this problem please?
Broken but fine
Audio commentary features causes instant crashes. Line ups do not show formation
Official⚽️CHELSEA FC App 2026
it’s a very good App It’s Got all the Live men’s and women’s Live football scores from the Premier League and Champions League and The Uefa League and the europa League and also The Carabao Cup and The Emirates FA Cup and much More it’s still a great App even in (2026) 😃👍
Not fit for purpose
Paid for the Chelsea plus as wanted to watch the pre season games live. Every single match was such poor picture and sound quality. Initially thought it was because we were being streamed the games from the other side of the world but the real sociedad game yesterday was the worst, kept cutting out too. Many many fans saying the same. The club should refund every their money as this looks very embarrassing! Poor poor service.
Effective and efficient
This is really a good app. Good design and a lot of functionality. A great way to keep track on the happenings of the club.
App
Sort it out, or find someone that can, farcical
Good but…
The Chelsea app is very good to keep up with the news of the players, but the iPad version is broken, It is very slow to respond and the videos don’t work, if you want a better experience use the mobile app, otherwise it is a great app, sad that you can’t use this on iPad. That is why I removed 2 stars!
good
yep
Stream crashes
I bought cfc+ to watch the pre season games and every stream was constantly buffering and cutting out. Now they have outdone themselves for the Sociedad game and it just doesn’t work at all. Fix it.
Not able to watch match videos
I can’t watch full match replay, After playing the video for some seconds, the video got stopped. Only play button thumbnail is showing and audio is continuing to play in background, Also I can’t watch any video in full screen mode. Pls fix this.
Bug Issues
Since November I have been unable to view the full men’s EPL table, it ends at about position 17 even now today (3/2/25). Now when entering the home page, it is completely blank, I cannot see the latest news. For example I can See CHE vs WHU but now to read up I can’t . I am able see all under the other buttons (watch, matches, explore, shop) but the home button is just looking at me, unresponsive like it’s dead.
Tooooo many updates
Why are there so many updates every week. The app seems the same and everytime i need to look at the match line ups , The app makes me update it, EVERYTIME!! I like the app but stop the updates what’s the point of having it
CHELSEA CHELSEA
CHELSEA CHELSEA CHELSEA CHELSEA
CFC+ Sucks
In the middle of watching a match, the stupid app crashes and pauses and does stupid Staff. I have to exit and then come back into it and then it tells me that I don’t have a plus membership when I do and I was literally just watching the match. I want my money back.
The 5th Stand
Wonderful app!
App not working.
For the past few months, I haven’t been able to use the app because it won’t load anything. I get notifications but when I click on the it won’t still work. Data connection working fine and other apps working perfectly. Thank you. From Nigeria
Always updating
What is the meaning of this , we always have to update this app every time . If not just make updating the app optional then .
Reviewing
Chelsea app is very good because it gives you updates on players games and kits I really recommend it if your a Chelsea fan
Awful
Constantly glitching and the video is always crashing
One stop shop for the Chelsea family
The 5th stand app is really the place to visit for all things Chelsea. Good to see that the rumour page has been stopped. However I hope the app could be used for merchandise buying and prompt delivery for its Indian supporters!!
Unstable
As of today the 4th of March 2023. The app has been unstable for over a couple of weeks. Please attend to it
Account sign in
I’ve been using this account for years, and suddenly I can’t sign in to my account again…can you tell me why ? I’ve deleted the app multiple times to try it and it won’t work still.
