TU
I’d like to see more stories on all of Tulsa‘s sports volleyball, soccer men and women sports
Bring back the High School Scores Page
It used to be so easy to find all the football scores from across the state. Now we can’t find any. Why change it? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Good app but Ridiculous Open
This app typically does what you would expect. Tells the news, the weather, etc. HOWEVER, there is this ridiculous hum that starts when you open the app. I hate it. I want to delete it, but I need to know the weather. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS. Remove the opening hum and will be happy.
Amazing
Best news app
USED to like it, USED to have it on all devices
Like title says, use to like it, used to have on all devices at home and work. Not anymore! As time has went on I have been deleting this app from all devices and this is the last one. Used to be great, weeks of not updating, correctly, once it does update you get 3 minutes of news mixed in with 5-8 of ads and commercials! Today I open it (keep in mind I had it open yesterday also) but today I open it and all it’s showing me is stories from May 5th! I close it and reopen it and it now goes up to June 9th! I closed and deleted it! The same goes for the live news cast! Wife and I haven’t watched more than 5 minutes of it daily when we used to watch it religiously morning, afternoon and evening! Good Bye
Only thing I don’t like about the app is…
It doesn’t show the day of the month below the day of the week in the Weather > Daily > 7-day forecast.
Too many ads with tornado storm alerts
During the recent tornado outbreak in the Tulsa area, I was frustrated and prevented from trying to obtain immediate information by too many ads. It would be responsible to drop the ads in the time of severe storms and allow people to receive the necessary information immediately.
Ads and humming
Everytime you open the app it has that hum jingle with fingers-snapping, it’s the worst… My other complaint is ads during severe weather outbreaks to watch live feed, does Travis Meyer know about this? It’s great app otherwise.
Variety of News
I enjoy the current topics of video news items streaming daily.
Disruptive Use
I think more people would use your app if it didn’t have a loud obnoxious welcoming jingle when opening the app. Hard to be discrete.
Mr
Not up dates on the weekend!
Hello?
The app always cuts off on streaming and no updates in 3 months I still show stories from May it’s July 27!!! How can you be the best news with the best weather if we can’t get the best news and the best weather on our streaming apps that we downloaded from you guys?
Frustrating
I love the program but the app crashes at least once a week. Very frustrating.
News on 6 is a professional team.
It is good to see good clean reporting of the news.
Peptides
Channel 6 on the noon show announced there would be a coverage of peptides and what we needed to know about it and guess what there was no article on peptides. Why do they even lie to us and tell us they’re gonna be something when there’s nothing
Kind of A Mess
Very disorganized and hard to navigate. Shows the same stories for weeks. And, for the love of God, do away with that audio clip that plays upon start!
Mr
1-Complete blocking ads prior to that which is sought (news-weather urgently rapidly) is NOT selling any product 2-Radar in years past had quality, local & regional. Now nonspecific blobs. 3-“Interviews show clear Left bias” eg. ‘hot seat’ which is Negative in a very Right state. 4- full screen view would be optimal.
Ads before Severe Weather Coverage
When seconds matter, 15 seconds can be the difference between power being on or off during an emergency. 15 seconds can be enough to get a verbal warning about your area before Wi-Fi or cellular access is gone. 15 seconds is just enough time to alert a family to hide. So please… when severe weather coverage is live on the app, remove the ads that take those precious 15 seconds. Don’t let 15 seconds prevent people from accessing the “Severe Weather Coverage” live broadcast on the app (which is the only way some know how to use the app, especially those that aren’t tech savvy, who have difficulty using the radar map provided elsewhere on the app). Whenever there is no severe weather coverage, no active tornado warnings, I’m sure we’d all happily sit through longer ads to make up for removing ads before the live weather coverage needed for our friends and neighbors here in NE Oklahoma. Hats off to the great weather coverage team who endeavor to keep everyone safe. And here’s hoping they’ll find an easy way to code the app to remove ads before live coverage of genuine weather emergencies for our beautiful corner of Oklahoma.
The only locally owned news channel in Oklahoma
Oklahomans will love this you are always updated about what’s going on
App Stinks
I have shared my location. Now every time I open the interactive radar it starts over Nigeria.
Best News Going
Want to say Thank You for the great news on channel 6. Have been watching it for over 50 years. News, weather, and sports what more could a person as for. Could use some good news at times as well, God Bless you all and stay safe, J.GH Broken Arrow
Lack of actual news time
I see more commercials than news. It will be in the middle of a story and it cuts to commercial mid sentence. When I am wanting to listen for several weather, you have to go through a commercial first. I understand commercials pay for things, but in bad weather, those seconds can make a difference.
Ads during severe weather
It would be nice during severe weather not to have to watch a 15 second ad before I can see what is on live. My phone is my source for weather/warnings during severe weather outbreaks, and those ads become annoying when I’m trying to catch what the weather team is saying. If I accidentally swipe or tap my screen, I’m watching an ad again before I get back to the live feed.
Better Choice
The best app ever!!! ℹ original download news 8, but it only gives news reports of on other states that I don’t live in! 🥶😞
Startup Sound
There’s quite literally no reason this app needs to take over my speakers and play an extremely loud and obnoxious noise every time I open it. 1 star just for that nonsense.
Wrong Direction
Used it for a while as the UI is a little friendlier than Fox23, but now they added a video that automatically plays when you open the app, takes up 1/3 of the screen and no way to disable. They also removed the “Crime” section. Pretty obvious this channel is left leaning, but removing that is just absurd. Stick with Fox23 at this point, No6 app shot callers are driving this app into the ground.
Video
Video on news stories isn’t playing. Not A fan of a democratic channel not reporting both sides of a story. Love the news on 6 team but it’s hard to watch one side of a story when it comes to politics. Thanks Team for all you do.
News on 6 app
Great app best news in Tulsa by far !!
LOUD Commercials
The app creator should be ashamed of themselves for playing such loud and inconsistent volumes of commercials. A news anchor should run a report on it.
SBGI investment
Informative
Stupid jingle
I’m gone
State Funds
Misused…?
Why the music?!
Why the BLARING music every time I try to open the app? There’s no option to turn it off and it’s every single time I try to open the app. PLEASE REMOVE THE MUSIC (no one genuinely enjoys it, anyways)
Weather
He is a great weatherman. We can count on what he says. When there are multiple outbreaks of wild weather, including 7-8 tornado warnings T once, Travis and Stacia keep up informed.
Get rid of ads during severe weather!
When tornado in area and no power to watch on TV don’t have time to wait for ads to play and app to load!!!!
