What people like
- Captures action shots really fast
- Takes many photos automatically for you
- Lots of useful camera features
- Simple interface that works well
What they complain about
- App crashes and corrupts your photos
- Settings do not save properly
- Drains memory and gets buggy
- Support never actually helps you
Never miss a shot
Still the fastest way to capture any moment! And it does so much more now with all the new features. Explore all the settings options in the screenshots and you’ll see what I mean. My new favorite is bracketed sequence shots with auto folders.
App is not saving my photos
The app is only saving a handful of photos. And they rest are black screens. I was trying to use this app for work and it’s awful. It was perfect then agreed using g it for a few months it started acting up.
Settings don’t save?
First of all I love this app but unless I’m dumb as rocks there isn’t an option to save the settings. If I want to turn the resolution of the camera to 48 MP it looks like it saves and then when I go back into the settings it doesn’t. PLEASE FIX THIS! Otherwise, app is great but just slightly buggy. Turbo mode is a great feature! Please keep up the great work guys!
Great at first.
I’ve used fast camera for years, but I never get to use it long when I have. At some point you loose the capability to save photos more than one at a time and have to force quit the app to save another 1. It tends to work great for a few hundred photos, then bang, it crashes, and you are down to 1 save at a time until you delete and reinstall the app. I continue to forget this, and continue to use the app, accumulate 600-900 photos so I can go back and save each I prefer, dump the rest. But as soon as I get a couple hundred saved, the app falls into this horrible state and I am stuck deleting one at a time or loose all.
Just take 10
Just take 10 or 100 and pick the best one! Great app…
Glitchy
Keeps freezing and losing all my photos. A real bummer.
Fast but a little buggy
If you want an app that will get your iPhone camera snapping shots quickly, this is the app you want. But it draws a lot of memory and can get buggy if too many other apps are open in background.
Disappointing
The app is okay. It lacks the option to zoom in and out unfortunately.
Date and time
I used to find this app great as it logged the date and time on photos. This was a really useful feature. Now despite selecting this feature it no longer works. Support have not responded to query so feel disappointed with customer service on this.
Fast Camera is a terrific app
Fast Camera is a terrific app. You can take limitless numbers of photos automatically. It’s great for catching action scenes. There are lots of settings that you can customize. The HDR, time lapse, export to video and auto start are very cool features. The app is well thought out and implemented. The app gets updated and improved regularly, and that’s nice to see.
Needs some compatibility work for iPad Pro
Not sure if this app was intended to work with the iPad but if it is, it needs some work to function properly on the iPad Pro. When you launch it on the iPad Pro, the image is does not rotate with the orientation of the tablet and when do you do rotate it the screen splits and two and has very odd behavior, and makes the app unusable. It works great on my iPhone and has for many years so I had hopes that I could use it with my iPad as well maybe in the future?
Amazing app

Wish I could rate higher
First I’ll say this is an awesome and unique app. I’ve not found anything else like it. It’s ability to shoot photos continuously is simply amazing! I would easily rate the app 5 stars if it was a stable app, unfortunately it’s not. They need to update the app to better perform on iPhones that shoot 48mp ProRaw images. As it is currently, the app crashes every time I switch between shooting “full raw-48mp” and “turbo mode—12mp”. And once the app starts crashing, I literally need to delete the app and reinstall from App Store again. I’ve found a workaround process to stop this from happening when switching between ProRaw-48mp and any of the other 12mp modes (turbo, portrait depth, etc) and that is to first change the “Rear Cam” setting from 48mp to 12mp, then you can toggle on one of the 12mp only shooting modes without the app crashing. The app developers should be updating their code to take care of changing this MP setting for you automatically when changing shooting mode. It’s simply a matter of writing the code to perform the correct steps in the correct order, so the app doesn’t crash… Aside from what I just explained, the app performs well. There are some other little things that the developers need to work on to make the app a little more stable; but these little things are annoyances that I can live with considering the value of what this app enables me to do. This app has AMAZING potential! Hope the developers continue to work on making it better as they have a winner here.

This app is freaking awsome! Take fast shots, limit how many, and it really flies baby!!
Does nothing but take blurry photos
This app does nothing but the pics look blurry. Total Waste of money. There are no tutorial to explain what’s on the screen. There is an (f) circle ⭕️ and an exposure circle ⭕️ and A white balance circle ⭕️ neither of them do anything when you touch them.
Amazing possibilities
I have no complaints about this app and I think the only thing it needs is the ability to turn your photos into a flip book
Bugs eveywhere!
When sharing photos with Line contact, the app always fails to fulfill its mission. Crash again and again. Please fix it and I will thank you.
Partially working on 11 Pro
Fast Camera defaults to the 2x lens and won’t let you select another until you switch to front facing lens and back. Then it offers the choice of wide (which is really 2x), 2x and ultra wide. The normal wide angle lens is never used.
Better than anyone knows
This app is on the cutting edge and it’s potential for content creation is greater than I think anyone knows. You’ll have to experiment to understand why you can do things with it no app that I know about can do. I hope the developers are rich and have loving partners and are completely happy. Sorry to be so dramatic but it’s what I believe.
Inconsistent
Sometimes it works. Many times it fails to capture and the moment is gone.
Fabulous
So pleased with options… it’s my #1 go to device!

Sequence issue
As much as I like this app, there is one major issue. It doesn’t always keep the sequence the photos were taken. So when previewing or exporting as a video, frames are mixed up. Shame as it does work well otherwise
Fast
Fast and needed for todays shouting with the Iphone. Sorry that you dropped me from the beta testing program, but I will continue to use the app. It works great. If you would like to let me backing testing beta just let me know thank you.
Not working
Won't work since latest update
Fast Camera
This app is really great for taking the best action photos! You can select whichever ones you like and it takes as many as you want so you have the widest range of photos. It also has lots of good filters for editing the photos although the layout can be confusing. The easiest thing to do is select the ones you want then click preview which means you can see the photos more clearly. I would recommend the app because although it has cost it is worth £2.99 for the great action photos it can take! Reviewer

Just updated it on my iPhone X and it no longer works. Please fix.
Good
I love playing with the app... great for pet photos.
No help
Used Fast Camera to take a very special photo a few weeks ago, saved a photo to camera roll but it didn't save it there or anywhere. Tried everything- making more space in iCloud, turning on saving options etc but nothing. Have emailed Fast Camera help three times. Received one very basic reply with no help. Answered this but still got no reply. It seems that if you have a problem then you're stuffed, and you've lost your special photo also.

Problem with new update!
Ever since the latest update it does not allow me to load the app! Please help!
Not good
更新之後如果中斷拍攝，重新拍攝的時候兩個照片會衝突。導致相片無法讀取，前一次拍攝的照片就會不見。
Ok
Bought it for manual focus. Cannot put it to good use. Will review again if it works better

REMARKABLE!!
The UI is simple, yet the images turn out HiRes and complex! IF you're green at photography or have years of education and experience on this matter this is the app to have! Worth every single cent and then some. My hats off to the developers!
Stopped working
This app, which is great, has stopped working since iOS8 update. The app doesn't open anymore and I've lost all my photos.
A good app to have in the tool box.
Handy for when standard camera Apps just aren't quick enough to capture the moment. Having a code on your lock screen will delay you - quickest and most useful access it to have the app icon on your home screen - 'swipe', 'tap' and you haven't missed the moment. (But leave it shooting and you'll have a lot of deleting to do!)
Lost images and crashing app
This app started off good. Now crashes almost every other time when exporting to camera roll on iPhone, and when the app crashes an you open app to export again the photos are then blacked out and corrupt. The amount of quality images I have lost through this app is unreal. This has been happening for months on end, why has this not been sorted with the numerous updates??? Also.. Why when in the middle of saving hundreds of photos (which is what the app is for..!!!) when somebody rings, messages, or you get a pop up on iPhone, does the app stop what it's doing and stop saving...!!! THEN... do exactly the same as mentioned above and blank and corrupt all the photos..!!??? Major issues that need addressing and sorting..!!! This should have been sorted by now boys an girls, come on....!!! If they sorted these issues the app would be excellent.
Not-so-fast cam?
Seems to have actually got slower since the last update? Used to be able to photograph lightning, but not any more.
