Can’t use error every time
The operation couldn’t be completed. (PHPhotosErrorDomain error 3302.) error everytime. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and made sure it had all permissions. Unusable to take any photos

Problems…
App is quite good but since the last ios security update there is something broken: ”Der Vorgang konnte nicht abgeschlossen werden. (PHPhotosErrorDomain-Fehler 3302.)“ Only chance is to deactivate the live image option in the settings. The next thing that is really annoying, is the fact that you are bound to the basic 3 seconds as long as you are not online. In the nature there is not always internet available…
Keeps crashing

I have recently started using this camera app and I do enjoy the ability to easily set longer exposures and the stability control as I typically attempt awkward shots. -Freddie
Requires internet
For no reason, this app requires internet to use, even after paying. Makes this app useless for a lot of cases.
Sounded good, but disappointed once installed
I have tried a few cameras over the years trying to make my iPhone be a decent substitute for my Nikon DSLR, so I gave Spectre a try. (I did not pay for the Pro feature(s) which may help, but I was severely underwhelmed! In its base form it appears it does not offer any features that the included camera does not. The only thing I saw that was slightly interesting is the included "AI", on a long shutter, slowly begins to make moving objects in the field of view disappear, but since (without paying) it will only give a 3 second exposure, the objects just become blurred blobs if color. I tried to set the shutter time up to 5 seconds, but this just pops their ad wanting you to buy the Pro version. Overall there is nothing "wrong" with Spectre, but it doesn't offer anything more than the built-in camera and actually has less options. I'm sorry but I'll just have to pass and continue my search for the perfect camera app.

Processed image is abit Blurry
It is a good software But it has one disappointing feature compared to the "cortex camera" that I use and it has a similar technique in photography to merge multiple photos into one photo to reduce image noise, but the images are recorded a bit blurry which is noticeable when zoomed in. Of course I also used it on a tripod but the cortex camera image is clearer
Misleading free features
Seems that you need to upgrade to get 30-sec exposures. That is not clarified until after you install the app.
Convenient
Have enjoyed this app for years. Recently tried a different paid app as it allowed 2 second exposure which sometimes I need. But that paid app required a phone to be on a tripod which is ridiculous. Hopefully this app in the future could add 2 second exposure.
watch out
if you’re anywhere with a poor or no connection & purchased long exposures, you won’t have access to them. it’s really frustrating, since you aren’t always in a perfect signal location to be shooting. additionally contacting for support can be tough since the in app flow crashes 100% of the time, so you’ll have to find their contact through other means

At first I thought the App does exactly what I was looking for, but then I saw the comically small size of the images. That makes the app completely unusable for me.

It’s alright, all this pretty much does is the object removal/waterfall effect, so if you’re looking for long exposure as in shutter speed or bulb mode, look elsewhere.

“Tap” your phone for a long exposure?
Why there is no option for a couple second delay after the tap, I have no idea. I mean, even a tripod won’t hold it steady enough.
Meh
Good: the app does not collect any of your personal data. That’s unusual, and welcome. Not so good: on iPhone 15 Pro, the native camera app takes better low light pictures than Spectre. If the app is only intended to help you capture light trails at night, great. But that’s a fairly narrow use-case. Otherwise, stick with the stick camera app or Halide.

Hat viel Potenzial
Meine Hoffnung war es gerade bei Dämmerung bzw. Nacht Fotos mit Lichtstreifen zu erzeugen. Nur trotz beworbener Stabilisierung (Handy wurde in der Hand gehalten und zusätzlich an festen Gegenständen stabilisiert) sind die Bilder ein Grauen zum anschauen, da kann die iOS Photoanwendung einfach bessere Ergebnisse erzeugen. Daher meiner Meinung ist es das Geld nicht Wert.
File sizes too small
Only takes jpeg even though my iPhone camera is set up as raw. Slow shutter app allows for tiff as well as Heif and jpeg. Like Spectre as I don’t need the tripod where slow shutter needs the tripod.

1 sec. shutter speed
The app works great as advertised. Sometimes I need 1-second shutter speed because 3 seconds was too slow for I wanted to take. This app would be very useful to me to range from 1-second to 30 seconds. Cheers!
Disappointed
Even with a30 second exposure it can’t capture stars as well as a3 second exposure using a regular Apple night mode.
I love this app… but
I love this app but be sure to open it on your new phone in a place that has cell reception first. I went for a hike to a beach and wanted to use it but couldn’t because shrug emoji it wasn’t sure if I’d paid for it. Apps should work without their owner reminding them they can work. I’ll keep using it (as I have for years) but I’m going to hold this emotional grudge every time I open the app now.

My iPhone camera is better for long exposure.
I regret the loss of money on this. My iPhone pro max takes way better long exposure photos than this app. I respect what they tried to do and perhaps this was good for previous versions of the phone, but this app was a waste of money for me and I regret buying it.
Slow shutter
Awesome App for capturing pictures of fast moving water in slow motion. Gives me a good idea a to what a photo will look like b4 I take it with my camera gear. Looking forward to lots more to discover in this app.

Great app but bug in ios 16
App freezes if you try to look at the pics in the recent album from inside the app. You need to completely shut it down to get it going again. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

I love this amazing app!! It is so easy to use, the engine is so smooth & you don’t have to be a professional photographer to use the tools. Also, free is good!

This is the worst app: literally all you can do is set a long time exposure time, BUT only if you pay for the app, by itself it is far worse than the default camera app
Not bad.
It’s not a bad app, but even when my phone is absolutely steady, the light trails have this weird zigzag pattern to them. Not sure if it’s something that can be fixed via software update. I’m using this on an iPhone X.

Great little app. It would be great to be able to control the duration of exposure,but having a shutter delay is essential go getting sharp fotos with any regularity

I enjoy this camera app, it performs as described. But now I see a new feature called Spectra Pro. I already paid just to download this app. There was no option for monthly subscription, just one flat rate that allowed me to purchase and use this camera. Now you’re saying if I want support options, I have to pay an additional $5, which will also give me a discount on other apps. So you’re telling me I purchased an app that was not cheap, and I can’t get support features unless I cough up more money. What a joke. If I had known you all were this greedy, I wouldn’t have purchased this app to begin with. You should be embarrassed.

This is clearly a scam. I paid for the subscription so I could get 30 second long exposure shots but it does the exact same thing that the free version does. 5 seconds is all it does and that is questionable. I’m so mad right now!!!

How come I would pay for an app and every single picture is blurry I can do better with my default camera so rather refund me or make the app better
Cool concept but...
Auto focus stabilizer is terrible. Every photo is blurry for some reason
Always blurry and out of focus
Shot a few by the water and I can get silky results on the water reflections. The architecture are as sharp as you can take directly from a phone camera. Brilliant. But when shooting at night the image is always, always out of focus. Tap-to-focus doesn’t work. It focuses and immediately shift out of focus. I’m using it on an iPhone XS so your miles may vary.
