Excellent
Had it for 5 years it’s excellent
Useless
Every article requires a subscription to the periodical to read it. What is the point of this app?
BBC
Recently I have taken paid subscription but bit disappointed that lack of UK news specifically I BBC feed.
They choose
The app ignores systems setting for news preferences to include Nigeria news
Color
Please fix the homescreen color. It’s dull. Not vibrant like before
Awesome
Very relevant and informative.
Notifications
It’s been a month plus and we still can’t see the notifications stacked
Great! Some suggestions:
Simple UI, easy to use with useful widget feature. Would be so cool if we could customize features of the UI like the fonts, colors, padding, spacing, and app icon!
I like the app but….
I keep getting two notifications for the same thing.
Breaking News review
I love that I can choose the networks I get my news from. Very good app.
5 Stars. No Frills
The app just works. It’s not trying to be anything but effective at showing you information. I admire the developer(s) and thank them for creating this.
Doesn’t post regularly.
I’ve noticed that this app only post in drips and drabs. It seems like it stops working on the weekends as well. For some reason.
This app is now good again.
Dev responded and fixed the issue described below. I’m back on board and a huge fan once again. Many thanks! Why have a half page ad covering up the bottom half of the app that can’t be turned off? Seriously! And if you dare hit the microscopic delete ad icon it LAUNCHES YOUR BROWSER INTO THE AD WEBSITE!!! Horrible idea Breaking News devs… you guys should be fired for ruining this once great app. Stupid ads you can’t turn off is why I deleted your greedy app and replaced it with Ground News. Send me an email if you ever bother to right the sinking ship.
LEFT LEANING
I Block Leftist sources but they still show up especially the “radio” feature!!
Do not make Paid notification stacking
I have had this app for quite some time and it has been great. I really appreciate the work you do but this app is really only useful if I can look and see the notifications without having to open the app to see ALL of the news articles. Please do not make it locked behind a paywall. I want to have stacked notifications for free as it was before. Thank you. I’m sure most people want this feature back as well.
So Perfect!
Up to the minute news! No ads! NO PERSONAL INFORMATION IS COLLECTED when you download the app!
Broken
I’ve already started using a backup breaking news app because, as others have stated, this app has only been showing the single newest alert (sometimes I’ll be reading a news alert and it will disappear before my eyes because another notification came through). If this isn’t fixed soon, I (and I’m assuming quite a few others) will be deleting and moving on.
Very convenient
Great tool to catch all the breaking news of the day from various outlets
What Happened?
This used to be a fairly good app. Now there is so much detritus on the screen it is unusable. Clean up your act or I'm deleting it.
Only one notification
I love this app, and I used to get notifications from every news source. But now only one shows up, and it’s just the latest. Can you fix?
very good! I love it!
HONESTLY i can’t imagine my life without it now!!
Push notice fail
As others noted, only the newer push notice shows/stays. Considering the whole purpose of this app is to get notices of breaking news, this issue has now made the app pretty much useless without opening it. I hope the devs resolve this.
Those ads though...
Paid for ad removal. Bottom of news feed screen didn't get the memo.
can‘t refresh, no notification
The last time I was able to refresh in app was in April, after that I could still get notifications. But when I got a new phone, the app can’t refresh, there is no news at all, without any notification.
Notifications issue
New notifications are replacing old ones in the Notification Center, now only the latest notification showing.
Superb app, responsive developer!
I have been using this application for a while to keep track of the most up-to-date news across multiple sources. I purchased the upgrade in 2023. Recently, I reached out to the developer as the restore purchase feature was no longer working after I upgraded to a new phone. In a short time, a new version of the application was pushed to the App Store and this resolved my problem. Thank you!
Local news first then national will up three stars to a constant five stars
I prefer to see my local news first for Indiana preferably the cities of Mishawaka and South Bend. And then have a choice of listening or watching all the other news for the USA.
Recommended
Definitely in the top 10 must have apps on my iPhone.
IS THIS REALLY. REAL TIME
Is this service provided a real time news breaking service More like slow breaking news
Not impartial reporting
I wish this was more centrist.
Da best
Seems to always get the news first. And I like the UI!
I banned nbc and you sent me there after clicking fox !
I went to Fox to read about White House meetings and instead of fox you send to legacy media nbc that distorted the news and trashed OUR President! NO WAY will I support you unless this changes!
My go to app.
I'm a bit of a news junky and this is my go-to app when I want to see what's happening in the world. There's no thrills, just the latest headlines with easy access to the underlying stories. What more do you want when you want breaking news now?
Good - when it works!
A good app which gas stopped sending updates/notifications for over a week! But good when it does work - unfortunately useless until fixed. Come on get it sorted.......
My opinion
It is very weak news service only active during USA hours and nearly empty on weekends. Keep trying.
Great
Such a great, simple app. Does exactly what it says and does it well. I never review apps but this one deserves it
The Drudge Report…
…is no longer conservative. I’m just waiting for Matt Drudge to be a guest on “The View.”
Good App overall
A bunch of news sources, nicely presented in the app. Only gripe is a very ugly app icon! Not very iPhone esque at all
Noticias
Noticias
Mandatory app for news junkies
This App is great and keeps me updated on the latest breaking news around the world. It is one of my favorite apps.
To many pop ups
This app is becoming unusable with all the pop ups. Videos pop up every 30 seconds, I can’t even read half the articles. Will probably delete by next week.
Us it more and more
Extremely useful app. I find I'm using it more and more and looking in on the latest stories rather than continually checking a series of single source sites.
Good but NewsCast Radio no longer working or updating
This is a great little app, but unfortunately the NewsCast radio section no longer seems to be updating the feeds. It was working just fine up to 3 days ago. Unfortunately now none of the NewsCast stations feeds seem to be updating at all. They’re all still stuck on the last update received from 3 days ago. Everything else in the app works just fine, so idk why the NewsCasts radio section no longer updates like the rest of the app does. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times on 2 different devices but unfortunately the problem still persists, so it seems the issue is not a client-side one. Too bad, I was using this app on a daily basis to listen to the news while at work. Now it seems I’ll have to look for an alternative news radio app. Oh well.
Miss the CBC
Really enjoy your audio, really miss the CBC, why did you drop that feed, wish you had some representation of the Caribbean world
Deleting app now that they use Ads
Deleting app now that they use Ads
Very Good
I've used this for ages now. It may not look super-fancy, but it's reliable - and that's what counts for a news app.
Rate
I’ve always love this app for a long time but so so slow to update info it seems hate that in a competitive fast news world
