Astra Jigsaw HD
These jigsaw puzzles are wonderful. They are so colorful and beautiful…..very educational also. I have been playing them for years and I can’t wait for the each new set to appear. Thank you sincerely, Lena, for hours of fun and relaxation.
Free?
9 only 9 free puzzles. Not even worth downloading.
Astra
I enjoy the game but when I had to reinstall the top became the bottom and the bottom the top. I also don't like when the completed puzzles go to my camera app. I also don't like when some of my pieces go to the second screen and I have to go get it 12/20/17. Now my app keeps closing and I have to save almost every joining. Hope it gets fixed soon. 4/17/2022 I am writing again. All of a sudden my second screen will not allow me to move a piece to the first screen. Lena was very kind to me when I had a problem before. I hope she can help this time too as I still love and use my puzzles often.
Why can’t we get updates
It’s been a long time since we have gotten an update with new puzzles. How much longer.
Lost collections
I have been playing this for years. I’ve paid for most of the collections. I bought a new iPad and when I downloaded the puzzles it is making me pay for the collections again. Such a rip off.
Magnificent!
This is far and away the best collection of art in puzzle form. Plus it is a pleasure to play, easy to understand, enough variations in style of pieces. My favorites are Brueghel (thanks for having so many if these gems!) Turner and Van Gogh. So interesting to really see the paintings since you spend time with each tiny piece and notice more than you ordinarily would which opens you mind/eye to so many details…I play on my iPad, and my only wish is that it would be possible to see the full title of the art.
Not happy about the new charges.
I really enjoy using Astra puzzle but IDo not like the pictures you use they’re too busy I have been using this for quite a few years and enjoyed using my own pictures I don’t pay for pictures to use on puzzles I’m very sorry that this is your new way of changing things I guess I will not be using your puzzle game any longer now that you insist people pay for those pictures

Over 25 years and this is STILL THE BEST!!!!
I have every single set, and have been playing for almost 30 years! This is the finest jigsaw puzzle ever. It has 2 working screens, ambient sound choices, resizing puzzle pieces, and it’s just intuitive. It’s so user friendly that it’s my go-to even with hundreds of games on my iPad. I LOVE Astra Jigsaw! And Lena the creator. She is the very best!!! She is quick to answer any questions too. ❤️❤️❤️Love you Lena!!!
no more missing pieces
For the past week I have been unable to download any puzzles that I have purchased. In hindsight it was a very bad idea to download them puzzle by puzzle as I did them, because now I have none to do.
Jigsaws app
Great variety and good range of difficulty. Love it !
Lost Purchases
This is the best puzzle app ever, but the app seems to have lost my data—it no longer shows the five puzzles packages that I have already purchased. I have contacted the App Support through email and was told to reload the app. But the reload did not restore my puzzles.
Astra jigsaws
This is the best jigsaw app I've used, and there are several in-app sets of 100 jigsaws available for purchase, including stunning scenes from around the world. ( Worth every cent! )There are puzzles for children as well as art pictures and other topics. You can set the number of pieces from 12 to just under 1000, choose a jigsaw-piece shape set, and choose other options for each jigsaw. The instructions for use are clear and comprehensive, there are two screens to work with, one for the picture, the other for the jigsaw pieces. I've found it to be an excellent app giving hours of challenging fun and pleasure.
The Best by far!
This is by far the best Jigsaw puzzle app! It is my go-to for many reasons beyond the choice of available puzzles, the quality of the images and the ability to select the level of difficulty. Also, Lena, the developer, is extremely helpful and accessible if I have questions after downloads of new IOS systems, etc.
Do not buy
Don't buy as server has stopped responding and you can't download purchased jigsaws.
Astra App
I love this App. Loads to do. The only negative thing is that some of the pictures are very boring/drab.....However....there are lots to choose from. I would love more Christmas ones.
Bof
Ok
Some aspects of this app are really great. The two-page design is brilliant but there are problems. Puzzle pieces are sticky when you move them and they are sometimes difficult to move around. When you use the auto-arrange option for pieces, the top ones are not completely visible. Pieces have to be positioned perfectly before they'll lock together particularly on jigsaws with a lot of pieces. Finally, the puzzle collections are far too expensive. With a few well-considered tweaks and a sensible price for puzzle collections, this would be a 5 star app.
No Box
I have been working Astra Jigsaw puzzles on my iPads for many years. They always work with every new iPad and ios change. I have every set of puzzles Lena has created and repeat many while waiting for a new set to appear. This jigsaw program is by far the most thought out ingeniously created puzzle program taking into account everything one might need to effortlessly work an advanced digital puzzle without the physical pieces in a box. And No Box. The woman is a genius. Lena has thought of everything we would need to use that would help us create not just the puzzle but our own way of working with the pieces. And she has given it to us plus a hundred different puzzles in each set for less than 4 cents a puzzle. I always take my iPad with my puzzle program to occupy me on flights and I always have someone comment about it and ask me for a reference. Awesome program. I plan on working these puzzles for the rest of my life. Hopefully Lena will last that long. Thank you Lena, because of you I won’t ever be bored.
Puzzels

Love it!
Play it on my iPad daily. Love being able to use my own pictures too.
So-so
Lots if great puzzles but I had a LOT of trouble getting the pieces to click together. Then all of a sudden some pieces disappeared. Had to find the instructions to find them, very confusing!
Best available
Nothing better than this out there
Incredibly annoying! Don't waste your money
This has to be the most annoying jigsaw app ever! Pieces just disappear for no apparent reason. They can be seen if you click on the little shape in the bottom right hand corner but you can't get them back again. I contacted the support centre but have had no reply, hence the negative review. It's a great pity as some of the pictures look lovely. I won't be buying any more. Don't bother buying!
Great app
Use it quite a bit but wish there was button to automatically separate the straight edges, also when you send pieces to other window you have to constantly move puzzle to find them, otherwise it's lots of fun! Need to be able to change background colors! Please look into this and Ty.
Saving??
Sooo frustrating. . . Supposed to automatically save games for you, but doesn't! I've just spent over 1 1/2hrs doing a puzzle & a knock to my elbow by one of my cats, means I've lost all of it. Grrr!*!!
The best jigsaw app out there.
I’ve had Astra Jigsaw on every iPad I’ve owned because it’s the best jigsaw app I’ve found. You get two playing surfaces, an unscramble feature (you have to select all the pieces first), pleasant background sounds, free and inexpensive puzzle packs, autosave, your choice of puzzle piece shape and rotation, and other handy features. A truly amazing app.
Crashes ALL the time
Great game, but infurating as to how often it crashes. Stop working on new features and fix the reliability issue, it is been like this for several versions now.
Bug in latest version
This is a great jigsaw puzzle game. But the March 2012 upgrade has disabled the ability to change the background color. I'm stuck with the green background that I was using at the time of the upgrade. Until this is fixed I'm very limited with the puzzles I can pick.
Not terribly responsive
Good basic puzzle game. Am disappointed with finger controls using iPad 3. Pieces won't rotate properly even when Rotate option is enabled. Double tapping to remove piece to spare window doesn't work well either. This gets terribly frustrating whe you want to rotate or moves piece. Could use yet another spare window for storing pieces.
Best jigsaw puzzle
I have been playing this game for years. I absolutely love it. No ads, no crashes, just pure fun. 🤩
Poor quality & expensive in app purchasing
Jigsaw pieces are of poor quality. App presentation is of a low standard and dull. In app purchasing is Expensive. Crashes a lot.
Luv it
The best jigsaw app for iPad. I have just one prob I have lost sound of jigsaw when clicking together also no sound when game is finished. Wonder if I should delete and re- install. I'm using the free app at the moment and losing the sound has put me off purchasing it. PLEASE HELP Kazie

The BEST jigsaw puzzle app, ever
I LOVE this app! It is the very last activity I use every night before going to sleep. The selection of puzzles, shapes to use and number of pieces is perfect for my iPad. Best of all, I can load pictures from my own collection and turn them into puzzles. It’s the best jigsaw puzzle app on the internet. Go for it!
Great jigsaw
This is a great alternative to normal jigsaws, you get same satisfaction from doing them without the problem of where to store them when you've only partially completed them. A bit tricky moving the pieces so you can see them that's the only reason it doesn't get 5 stars and could do with some more free ones.
Rip-off
In order for u to be able to use your own photos (custom) u must purchase 4 other sets of jigsaws at £2.39 each! So that's £9.56 just to be able to do that. I would have expected one purchase sure. Not four! A pity, as this plays well otherwise.
Keep returning
I have been doing crosswords for many years, in all forms. Now at this stage of my life (85) I am totally hooked on this. Nice variety, easy access, tidy - no spillage or lost pieces. Variety of shapes, difficulties, most attractive and
Crashes when saving
Since downloading Americas collection app is crashing when jigsaw is finished and asked to save.
