Amazing app that makes scanning easy
I’ve been using this app for almost a decade. Intuitive, high quality, and easy to use. Streamlines the process of exporting and emailing. Highly recommend and only app needed for scanning.
Does not send information at all very slow
Terrible app is very slow annoying doesn’t send anything
Grateful for this app
Thank you💕
PDF scanner sucks
The pdf version sucks. It doesn’t get all my text
Neutral
This app is great for scanning documents and sending to emails. However, I have it a 3 because after updating my email I’m not able to access all of the features.
It’s great!
Today was my first time using this app. It was easy to use and understand.
Pop ups ruining app
Used to be a good app, would recommend it and got a lot of use out of it, but the devs have added a frustrating amount of friction to the app to drive users to pay money to scan documents on what was once freely available. Hard pass, friction’s not worth the scanning ability a dozen of other apps have
Good
Good
The Idea is great
Seemed really cool, it scanned my receipts really quickly and could export an expense report excel sheet. The problem was with the consistency. Some receipts would be warped and text missing, some numbers on in the excel sheet were wrong. I couldn’t use the images or the data it was giving me.
Absolutely great but lost ALL my documents!
My phone got stolen and they weren’t able to get into any of my documents or anything, but because I had to re-download this app again, everything was lost. It’s a very easy to use app and I really like it, but it really sucks that everything is now lost…
The Best!
I have tried all, if not, almost all the scanning apps avail in the app store. Genius Scan is by far the easiest to use and produces the clearest scans. The edit functions work well, most especially the crop tool. If you scan something in angle or crookedly, it allows you to crop the image by perspective to straighten it out. i highly recommend this product!
Blur
You can’t read the document that was scanned. Picture was clear, scan app made it a blur
Almost perfect!
Everything about this app is so good - organization and simplicity is perfect but I feel it’s missing a few simple functions. Adding a “trash bin” would be WONDERFUL - not sure why there isn’t one but seems necessary after scanning things and mistakenly deleting a document. Other note would be to add a function where you can “doodle” on top of the doc - I have Genius Sign, but a function on either app to write on top of the PDF’s rather than exporting to another 3rd party app would be useful. Overall great app - I recommend to everyone at work or in PDF passings…these things would make the Genius apps 10/10 though.
Genius scan +
Paid for features removed??
I really hope I’m wrong: I’m a longtime user with a lifetime Plus account. All of a sudden though, I can’t find the option to export PDF to Photos anywhere, and attempting to Print produces an error. PLEASE tell me you just rearranged some UI options, rather than removed features we paid for?
Genius Scan
A colleague recommended this scan app and it is excellent. Free and so very easy! Everyone should try it. I recommend to everyone. Forget diamonds, Genius Scan is a working girls best friend.
Only scans well
Scans well but nothing else can be made to work as expected. Help is extremely vague with no detailed instructions. The GUI in the app is incredibly confusing. It makes no logical sense. I need to look for something else. I am incredibly disappointed.
A revoir ! 🙏
Texting Scans
The app will not send scans by text to multiple recipients. It puts the scan into the text app and then it reports "Message send failure". It works for single recipient. "Try again" from the text app also fails.
Mr
No proper scan it doesnt give cleare scan n Colour is also not coming properly
What a life saver
This is a huge help in uploading documents
Loved this, but what happened?
Had the free version for many many years and loved it. I am a VERY lite user and maybe only used it a couple of times per year. I had things like my driving licence and birth certificate on. A few years ago both of my parents passed away (within 2 years of each other) and I used this to scan important documents. Just gone to use it now and the App has been removed (not by me). I have reinstalled it and all my documents have gone. I have tried to get back into the free version and it now only lasts 1 week with no guarantee I will get my important docs back. Now I understand that this was the free version and people should be happy to pay if they like an App but only using it a couple of times per year it is not good value for me. I think it’s upsetting for them to delete everything without pre warning so I could save my deceased parents documents that I will probably never easily get back.
Very comfortable
I used from my centennial college till now. I love this scanner very easy and comfortable and very clear.
Please allow external flash drive backup like iDiskk
Hello , I have Genius scan Plus lifetime subs , so recently I purchased iDiskk Flash drive for my iPhone to backup all the docs and folders to the flash drive but genius scan does not have that option. Also genus scan does not export Folders so when I select a folder to export it to my iDiskk flash drive the export option gets disable so it only export files not folders and its content so please include folder export option to be able to export the whole folder and its content to external flash drive such as iDiskk flash drive. Also include an option when you scan a document to have an option to save as Word document or Acrobat PDF like many other apps on the App Store that has this convenient feature. Thanks
handy
‘free’ is doing it but I can see the value of the extras
So helpful
Honestly this app is so helpful! It is very easy to use. No more wondering where you put this or that document. If you immediately scan it you’ll never search for anything again. I use the free version for reference*
Captation tres difficile
Genius scan
Genius scan is genius. Thks
Export Button
The Button is almost not reachable, because ist almost completely outside of the screen. Am I the only one who has this issue?
AMAZING AND EASY
I never write reviews but I needed to say this is the best pdf converter I’ve ever used it’s so easy and so clear once converted I love this app
Garbage
Garbage
Genius Scan
Look No Further!
I am so glad my employer recommended Genius Scan. I had downloaded so many scanner apps, but none did all that I wanted in a scanning app until my workplace recommended Genius Scan. It automatically crops documents. It’s easy to add and delete pages, rename the document, and send it in a variety of ways. That’s just the beginning. I’ve recommended it to family, friends, and colleagues, and never heard a complaint. Enjoy!
Can’t uninstall
Nowhere to uninstall this app as it’s asking for money … wasn’t in the write-up … not impressed
Absichtfehler
Issues when upgrading
I have been a long term user of Genius Scan and previously would never have considered giving a low rating. However, upgrading to a new iPhone and backing up from iCloud without a paid subscription has lost all my documents built up over many years. I have received polite and friendly help from customer services and although Genius Scan was part of my iCloud back up it is now forever entombed in my last iPhones backup and inaccessible to me on my new phone. According to customer services it should have transferred but it didn’t. Very frustrating.
Cost worth convenience!
User friendly, efficient, no real “quirks”, self explanatory, docs come out just as you’d expect.
Email Share Doesnt Work
Tried to email the scanner PDF to my email multiple times, even got the prompt at the bottom that states the date and time it was shared via email. But nothings pops up in my email. Seems to be a new issue, maybe to compel people into buying the premium. Disappointed.
Here’s an idea
Very very clear docs can be scanned. Be nice to be able to email with my default email app without being asked.
Quick Shot
Excellent
Amazing
Super easy to use and super fast, love this app.
Don’t use this
It was good to use until i started receiving spam emails about my data and account being compromised. I don’t recommend single the developers of the app aren’t doing anything to protect the users or the product from malicious activity
Export Receipt’s
I have a full paid version of this app and can’t download or Export my receipts via email. Can you please help me.
Lot to improve
Needs to have an option to easily save as photo
