Love this app
I think it’s the most accurate weather app that I have on my phone in Colorado. The Apple weather map is atrocious so it’s either WeatherBug or pinpoint for me.
Worst ad timing ever
Just imagine trying to check a severe weather notification just to have to wait for the heating and cooling ad to run its course. This will absolutely make me hate this company and the app.
Ads Ruining Experience
Used to be my favorite weather app but I can’t even actually see the weather due to all of the damn ads! The minute the app opens; ads. Anytime you click on anything; ads. It’s terrible.
Locations
Love the app, but for some reason, when I click on the 3 dots next to a location (that I want to remove from my list), a menu pops up and disappears before I can even see it or select delete. Please fix this.
App has been fixed!
It’s been over 5 days since I left an entirely negative review. As promised, when the app was functional again, I promised to do a positive updated. We are there! It now performs flawlessly, as far s as I can tell i can depend on it again. Many thanks to the development team!
Terrible now
Used to check this app multiple times a day. Now there’s ads that cover the whole screen and feels like I’m going to get a virus or worse from this app now. Don’t waste your time.
Ads have ruined this app
I use to love using this app. It was my go to weather app but the ads have completely ruined it. They are so frequent and sometimes very hard to close. Please take the adds away or at least have them be a banner at the bottom.
Too many ads
Ads use to be a little banner at the bottom and I could live with that. Now they have a full blown 30 second commercial if you switch screens. I get they need ads but this is too many.
Great app! Just wish…
We’ve been using this app for several years now and it’s been the best one by far after testing several… the only thing missing is a Pollen Count for local weather!!
Way too many ads these days
I’ve been using this app for years now I get prompted by two ads most of the time nearly one after the other making it very frustrating to use, looking for a new one. Will stop using this one.
Can’t delete locations
No longer able to delete locations when I’m finished with them. The screen that lets me delete won’t open.
App Info vs. TV Station Info
I have compared the app temperature predictions with the TV Meteorologist broadcast temperature predictions and they never even closely match, WHY?
Recent Ad updates ruined it
This used to be a great weather app, but new pop-up ads have destroyed it. They appear right when you’re trying to see the forecast and sometimes two in a row. You can’t even dismiss the latest ad when you click the X. It just sits on your screen. I have changed to weather underground.
Agree about ads
Agree with the guy from Denver. Not only do the pop up ads ruin the app, they also come with loud volume, which is really annoying if you’re just trying to check the forecast without drawing attention to yourself!
New update floods you with ads!
Have used this app for local Denver weather for several years. I’m deleting it today due to full screen, full volume pop up ads. You get a new ad pushed every time you make any selection.
Pop up ads ruined it
This used to be a reasonably reliable weather app, and the radar views are particularly useful. But the most recent update added all sorts of annoying full screen pop-up ads that appear just as the user is trying to click through to see forecasts for different days or hours. Super annoying, and I’ll likely revert back to Apple’s native weather app since it has improved greatly over the years.
Ads destroyed the app
Apparently Fox 31 and CW 2 do not get enough ad revenue so they had to include annoying pop up ads every single time you open the app. Going to see if one of the other local stations has a weather app with less ads.
Nothing like it used to be
This app used to be the best for Colorado but maybe 2-3 months after they changed to Bryant heating and cooling funding the app…it began going downhill. Now it isn’t even close and the Weather Channel app that came with my phone is more accurate and that is saying a lot. So it’s time to ditch it unfortunately.
Adds are are a PAIN!
I used to like this App, but now I’m looking for a better one!! I hate the ads!! The final straw was the IRS ad that I couldn’t get out of!! This impedes my ability to check the current severe weather!!Seriously DANGEROUS!! So long 31
I Used to Love It
This app has gone downhill especially since the last update. Now if you get a lightning warning and click on it, it goes to a black screen-not even a map. If you leave it open too long, it resets and goes to a blank map next time you try to view the weather and has to be closed and if you’re lucky, it might work the next time you reopen it. When it does work it has good features like lightning indicators, storm directions, speed, storm severity. I started using a paid for radar app because I think it’s that import have a dependable app you can rely on. That’s not Pinpoint and I get the feeling that this stopping working is based on getting you to look at the opening banner that has not changed for years so it’s not like we don’t know who that company is and need a reminder every 20 minutes, about the time it makes you close the app and reopen it.

Don’t update! Full screen ads!
I’ve been using this app for years and it works well for my purposes, but the 5.16.1703 update was a major mistake. Now, in addition to the banner ad (just a minor nuisance) there are occasionally full screen ads which are very obnoxious! I’d revert back to the previous version if I could. Don’t make the mistake I did, don’t update to this version!

Ridiculous when you all you get is ads during a severe weather outbreak. There is an ad every minute. Company has sold out!

Loved the app till all the pop up ads. Good luck looking at anything. Might as well go back to Apple weather
