Five Stars!
The app is easy to navigate, and the jobs are straightforward and simple to complete. It’s a great way to make some extra money in my spare time, especially when I’m already out running errands. I like that I can choose which jobs I want to take and work whenever it fits my schedule. It’s definitely worth checking the app regularly for new opportunities!
Always finds a reason to not pay
I tried using this App to do side jobs. Almost every time they find a reason to not pay. For instance, I recently did a Target job. I completed all tasks but one area was under construction so I couldn’t take pictures but I did provide a picture of the construction signage with a comment. They denied the full job. I spent an hour, filled out over 50 questions and was robbed of the gas money and the $6 job fee. It’s a joke.
Pretty good field app
My sister recommended this app to me. I like the variations of jobs my biggest gripe is when stuff is taken. A job could pop up and still remain up or reappear even if someone claimed it. I hope they can fix this in the future for an update bc to me it’s a great app and you get paid fast ( a day for me).
What was once is no longer
My oh my how awesome of an app this used to be. Until I convinced my wife to give it a try. She completed 2 tasks, total was like $29 and she had payouts connected to her chime, just as I do for mine. 1 day, 2 days then 3 then 5 then a week now almost a month….still hasn’t got her money. We’ve reached out to Chime, we’ve reached out to FA. Chime clearly shows no deposits for the money she cashed out, however FA says they hopped right on the issue and we she should be expecting her money right away!!!….that was 2 weeks ago. Then there’s the issue with jobs being in the “available” portion but as soon as you click on it an error message with a red background pops up and says something like “hhhm our bad this jobs no longer available!!” And it’s always the ones right by my house-ya kno, convenient. Ultimately they don’t offer that great of pay-$2 for a task that could take 30mins sometimes. If you’re lucky nobody will do those then they start adding to the bounty. Their help center people are the bomb, they get back with you right away and are definitely trying to fix what the issue is you’re reporting but I think some stuff is out of their hands-like my wife’s money!!
Slow with removing assignments
When I first started with this app, reserving shops was easy. Click and done. Since the most recent update, it’s been very difficult to get an assignment. Locations show up and then give you the red banner with the ‘Sorry it’s not available’ information. Shops disappear and reappear with no rhyme or reason. No longer a user friendly app.

Glitch has persisted for months
Decent app when it works. Within the job search tab, there’s a glitch with a red banner that shows up when jobs are already taken because the server “hasn’t been able to take them down yet,” but these jobs/glitches are “available”/visible for days/weeks, so how is it that the server hasn’t been able to take them down..? This glitch started in July and supposedly the developers and staff can’t see them, but I see the red banner is seen on 75%+ of the jobs available to me soooo..? It seems like they don’t know what they’re doing or something to be aware of the glitch and be unable to fix it within seconds via coding. My friend has no engineering/coding education, created an app via Claude, and fixes issues within seconds… sooo what’s up, Field Agent?

Camera feature is better than most. Excessively slow roll on job approvals. You can submit something on a Saturday and not get paid till Wednesday.
Not having Always option
Not happy that I can’t get the always option to notify me once a job has dropped.
Time to up the pay.
I first started using this app years ago. Over 4 or 5 years ago. Every once in a while I download it again just to see. But there is no way I’m getting in my car and heading out to any task that pays $3. Even if I’m in the same shopping center. It’s not worth my time. Lots of other ways to make some extra money. Actual money. $3 or $4 is nonsense. Also why list the tasks, only to tap on them and each one says “No longer available.”

Taking forever to approve jobs and then they deny it for stupid reasons and you waste your time for zero dollars. Don’t bother!!
Great App
Ive been using it for more than 5 years I really enjoy grocery shopping and this app helps me a lot. Only thing I would suggest is to state Costco items in full name and item number that can be found on Costco App. Right now its coded weird and its almost impossible to find the item
Frustrating!!
The app is nicely designed from an interface standpoint. Like most field inspection jobs the pay is generally low. But my main complaint is that 99% of the time I am shown jobs that are NOT available. Even after a refresh, jobs will disappear only to reappear a few minutes later then I still get a message stating the job has already been taken. If the job isn’t available DO NOT SHOW IT TO ME! I’m likely going to stop using this app because of this. There are clearly some bugs that need to be worked out. There are other gig apps that function a lot better and display jobs that are actually available. I took off three stars because of the ongoing frustration.
Used to be much more worth the time/drive
I’ve been using Field Agent for eight or so years. Over the past year especially, there’s a lot more work expected per job and the pay per job has barely increased to match the demand for more pictures. For example, it used to be $3 to take pictures of the entire pasta/sauce aisle plus end caps. 15 minutes time. Now, they’re offering $5 per job to take pictures of that, plus cookies, crackers, juice, air filters, lip products…you’re all over the store, waiting for people and U-boats to move, 30-40 min later you’ve earned $5. It’s less than $10 an hour and you’re using gas to get there. Multi display audits used to pay $7.50+ and now they have dropped to $6. The time it takes to do the job hasn’t changed, but the pay has decreased. I used to be able to make $80 in four hours if the logistics were on my side, and jobs now take much longer due to the added categories within a job. I have not been doing much at all lately because it’s just not worth my time or fuel. If I was between jobs, money is money. But, I think there is some level of taking advantage of those who are in dire need of money. Field Agent is legitimate, audits are screened pretty quickly, you get paid quickly, but overall they are now expecting way more for less pay. I would challenge anybody doing it as just extra income to weigh how much actual time and fuel is being expended and if the rate of return is worth it. For me, it hasn’t been.
Great way to make extra $
I am really enjoying using the “Field Agent” APP. I can complete surveys and shopping tasks to earn money and free products. Instructions within each task are almost always clear and concise. It is a fun and easy way to earn a little extra cash.
Not any good anymore
They try to pay as little as possible to get the work done but if they get desperate they eventually up the payouts. Nothing paying $2 is worth doing, even if you’re already in the store. Some of the tasks are extraordinarily difficult and pay too little for the amount of effort and risk involved. Small stores like 7-11 and liquor stores HATE mystery shoppers and can get really nasty and confrontational with you if you’re caught, and being a “ninja” for a task through this app may be easy enough for a single question or photo, but any task involving numerous photos involves a really high risk of being spotted and asked to leave. I hope this company goes out of business.
Good for some extra pocket change
It’s a pretty good app if you’re looking to make some extra pocket change. Some of the tasks are simple and sometimes you get to try new things like Tim Hortons. But I think the pay has decreased for some of the tasks recently because you’re required to do more work for the same pay as before.
Totally sucks.
Only download if you have a Costco membership or just feel like downloading app only for it to only take up space. Totally pointless.
Bad Update
This app use to work perfectly! It seems like every time there is an update the app stops working right. The first time I noticed it was an update a couple months ago. You weren’t able to go backwards which is a vital part in your success. That was eventually fixed. Now there has been a new update and the same thing is happening. Plus there are no descriptions now or the descriptions are wrong. With no description/wrong descriptions and not being able to go back you end up walking all over the store instead of being able to do everything in that part of the store before moving on. It also makes it very difficult to capture displays. If you have already moved on in the app and you come across another display you can’t photograph the display. This problem also makes it take much longer to complete the job which makes you run out of time for the other jobs you have scheduled. The way it is right now just sets you up for failure and causes the company to not get the photos they have requested. I really hope the app goes back to the way it was before. If it’s not broke don’t fix it!

Not Effective
I haven’t been able to even do one because every one I click on is not available surely there is a way to remove the listing immediently after it is filled.
Job simplicity/ mission difficulty level
I have loved the app and the way it functions. I like being able to use some free time to do a quick mission for a fair price. I I would like to just say the missions would be simple. A simple shelf view mission meant you just had to rise pictures of the shelf and/or product they were looking for. Simple in,sent pictures and then out. Now missions level and/or difficulty varies to ward I guess…any random product? I don’t know just throw us a bone and throw some simple missions. Simple mission for decent payout is how you keep folks. I still do the mission though with the different types of requirements it wants only to be unsure if i will receive a payout. There need to be an update where if you got do do x mission and look at many different item and/or display, that even if the submission is denied to receive a loyalty reward for time wasted. Some missions ask a lot to still deny your submission.
Too many “Job Already Taken”
Most of the listed jobs are not available. It always pops up “job already taken”. Why are these still showing in the list? Just to click for fun?

No jobs available
I’ve been on this app for months and very rarely get any jobs come up - and I’m on the outskirts of a city near numerous shops! It’s almost not even worth checking it anymore. On the rare occasion a job appears they seem to want you to take a video with commentary, in addition to all the photos. Gets two stars as the two jobs I’ve had have been well paid and withdrawing cash is quick and easy. Stick with Roamler. Loads of regular jobs with no silly video requirements.

It’s easy and quick to work and do the jobs, which is great. The negative is there doesn’t seem to be enough opportunities for me to get the jobs.

I have been with FA for years. Great way to earn a few bucks. Would be great if they paid for mileage in tough times like these. Or provided a gas card 😃

There is no customer service or agent support on this App. If you have a dispute about the work you’ve done there is no way to recourse

I think the next update should have an option to select to all conditions that apply to agent if that agent needs to qualify for a survey.

I haven’t had the app for a super long time but so far I have a good experience with it. I appreciate how there are job tasks available at various locations. It’s free to use and was very easy and quick to set up an account which I liked! So zero headache, As opposed to mystery shopping where you are required to get 100% on a test before you are able to use it.

Promising but...
I started everything well but I have not received any money making missions except one that was super far (another province) away from where I am and when I tried to refer it to another agent as that’s an option (I’m still newbie so I don’t know it exactly) it said the mission is already taken. Then after that it was repetitive R0 missions about how the app works, Covid 19 symptom check and Cash out thingy explanation mission which all cost nothing. I did them all so many times I thought by now I would have gotten a mission that’s real. I like the app, it’s really promising. I am re-downloading it right after this review, then I’m going to try and see if anything changes. I really don’t want to give up on the app, please developer please assist me. I could use the money, plus I think the missions art to be fun and exciting. Please man fix the issue for me. Thank you
Great app!
I love using this app for the “Ratings & Reviews” section! Definitely worth it, they’ll reimburse you for the item and all you have to do is write a 2-3 sentence review for it and you make an additional $1-$3 on top of it! I’ve never had an issue with being paid, the only issue is sometimes the store doesn’t have the item, but Field Agent will still reimburse you for $2 for just going there to check. Definitely worth getting the app for some free stuff!

Assignment says to take photos of men’s grooming products and I followed the directions and still got denied says it was asking for women’s grooming products and it specifically said men’s delete and keep moving
Love this app
This app is an excellent way to make some extra cash! Do mystery shop tasks to earn $, I’ve earned over $200 since I started and the tasks are relatively easy and straightforward. I highly suggest checking it out if it’s something you’re considering.

Ok, but needs improvement
Not a bad app, but not as good or as frequent as other apps that are out there. Rewards for missions are generally lower, and the overview of the mission misses a lot of information about what you actually end up undertaking within a mission. Greater clarity, greater information, higher rewards (comparable to other apps) and more frequent missions would see a higher rating.
Love This App!
This is such a great and consistent way to earn extra money. That is shocking to me that not everyone is doing it. The assignments and what easy to understand and they are consistent week to week. Anytime I’m out in my car driving around. I checked the app to see if there some jobs I can stop and do to make some extra money, including jobs at stores. I’m gonna go shop at anyways. If you’re looking to make extra money and do you haven’t gotten this app yet then what are you waiting for? Get it right away and start earning money. I’ve had a lot of interactions with the staff over the years and they’re very nice people and I’ve had nothing but good experiences with the customer service
Don’t recommend it
It’s shady and unethical not to pay employees for spending the time and trying to do the work. Some pictures are denied and no pay is given. Very low $2 pay, and no consideration for gas. Not worth it.
Great app
I love this app to kill free time while making a few bucks. I occasionally find stuff that is useful in my household making it a bonus. They could fix some issues where I’m not able to reserve available tasks sometimes. Otherwise great experience & awesome support team in Canada.
