Endless bugs. No fixes.
Notifications don’t even work anymore. Profile boosters y’all had me fill them all out and I still get applications that don’t apply to me. Either use the information and give me only relevant applications, or don’t asked me to fill them out if you’re not going to use the information. I waste a lot of time filling out applications that don’t apply to me when you have the data to know that. For example, in my profile boosters I say I only have an Apple Watch, yet I just did an application where when I selected I own an Apple Watch it said I was not a good fit because I didn’t have a different smartwatch. Well… you already knew I only had an Apple Watch. I told you that. So why waste my time showing me an application that requires me to have a non-Apple-Watch smartwatch… stop wasting our time. USE the profile boosters or don’t waste our time with them. Quality has gone down hill. The question “when was the last time you did market research” why are we being asked that? You have the literal data to answer that!!!! Gosh, use the data you have to save us time!! Just got kicked for doing a survey in the last six months, why was I even offered that one?! You have the data to know I did a survey so don’t offer me that app!! Use the data you have to give us meaningful opportunities. This app has gotten sloppy recently. Just got kicked out for having an iPhone, YOU KNOW THAT ALREADY!!! Use the profile boosters to give us relevant applications. Quality of this app has gone downhill fast. Still no dark mode… notifications still don’t work. Can no longer ask questions in missions or view details before accepting. Express mission crashed & wasn’t paid. Some applications no longer show a reward. App continues to go downhill fast. Can tell they’re cutting quality. Dark mode. Let me dismiss this new invasive browser plugin pop up. It’s in the way. Let me x it out. Out of the country it never lets me get passed the first question. What a waste! Just give me a pop up that says we do not accept applications while traveling internationally. Or, you know, start fixing any number of bugs in this app. Can’t see what the mission is before agreeing to it. Just bam you open the app and you’re in it. Bad UX. The app takes up gigabytes of space! Why? There are literally EIGHT of the same mission listed in the applications! Fix something on this app! App continues to degrade as they fail to fix anything week after week. Applications are SO sloppy recently. It’ll say “select all that apply” and you can only pick one. Express missions are not clear and no notifications of a soon-to-close mission. This app is unusable. If you click into information the back button doesn’t work. It’s comical how bad this thing is. FIX IT. XT Matched slop everywhere in the app. Let me opt-out and hide that slop. Messes up the feed and makes the feed cluttered. “When is the last time you participated in research” <- why would you EVER ask that if you kick me out if it’s less than three months, your system should know that answer!! It’s like this app is so hacked together it’s insane. How have they not improved the application process in years!? If I give one answer, how does it not apply to all open applications. “I own an iPhone” should close any open applications that require an android. Allow me to left to dismiss opportunities that are not interesting, why make us click into them every single time? Allow me to filter away low-dollar opportunities. The mission photo shows an iPhone and then you get kicked out for having an iPhone, just sloppy. There are endless ways to make this process more efficient. They just never improve anything…
not many missions lately
compared to my sister who just joined yesterday, i’ve barely gotten a single diary / live mission this month. idk if it’s my settings but i really hope this gets fixed.
It feels a bit of a waste of time and probably needs to be more lenient?
On reddit, a lot of people have been saying this app is a hit or miss. I've stumbled upon this app from tiktok for someone unemployed and needing to find a bit of a side hustle to at least some money. Most of the applications I rarely even get past 2-3 questions because I don't 'fit' within the qualifications for it. Maybe it's silly but most of the applications are for people who are either workers, parents, etc. Even basic ones I don't even get in. Maybe I need more time to really try it out but I feel like it's a bit of a waste of time.
Legit but sometimes stressful
I’ve been using dscout for about two months now and i’ve made $260 in that time, I love that you get paid directly through paypal for each project and there is no bs withdraw minimum. With that being said, I have been told i’m not the type of candidate they are looking for so many times and it can be frustrating. Just keep trying and you’ll get some projects and your payout.
Love this app
So I’ve used this app on and off since 2023. It is a legit platform, it pays directly to PayPal and there’s no ads what so ever. I’ve made a little over 300$ in a month but I haven’t been uber motivated, the payouts are 7-8 days after u finish a mission. Each mission can pay from 3$ to 300$ and I have NEVER had an issue with the payouts!!!

Even if you’re qualified, it’ll tell you that you’re not qualified to do the task. I haven’t qualified for one yet.
Great App but stopped working :(
Love the app, made a lot of money easily. However, there has recently been a pop up on my app saying there is an update needed, but on the App Store I can’t update the app.
Doesn’t work well anymore
First time I downloaded it I got around 3 missions and they worked , I got paid quickly and so I was excited to keep using it. Since then I can’t get any. It always says I am not a match for a study (even when my profile seems to fit the requirements). So I no longer think it works
Not as good as it used to be
Support has went from exceptional to barely adequate. They use copy and paste generic answers for everything instead of actually bothering to look into your specific issue. I still like the platform but miss the good old days when support would actually take the initiative to solve problems. I still give three stars because it’s a solid way to earn money. However if there is a problem receiving said money, it takes some pushing to actual have anyone look into anything.
dscout is the best
I’ve been using this app since June 2025 and it has worked wonders for me with accessibility. I’ve enjoyed sharing my feedback with different apps and how I use them in my daily life. I hope this app reaches many other people with visual impairment as well because if anyone is looking to find any good companies to collaborate with, this is good not only for side, but for the blind as well, and the experience is not only enjoyable, but you’re making great payments as well by giving your all and that’s all that matters. Do the best you can with this app and you will not be disappointed.
Terrible !
I’ve used this app for almost 3 years and made a good amount of money , but it has gone so downhill that I had to delete the app . It’s not longer what it used to be. Hoping there’s something similar to this app but more reliable . Towards the end of deleting the app it was just a waste of time!
Generally good until latest update
Actually a fantastic app - earned a decent chunk of money from a few missions. You won’t get selected for all of them, so just be patient. HOWEVER - since update a few days ago, the “explore” page isn’t working. It just keeps having a spinning wheel “loading” and never changes. Can this be looked into as I’m not getting to even apply for missions at the moment! 5 star app if this is solved! Thanks!
Spyware
Used for a customer survey, the software feels incredibly invasive and prying, and makes me strongly dislike the companies who use it. Deleted.
SUPPORT NOT REPLYING
Dscout has been wonderful to me i really enjoy all the diary studies , its a very good way of making money as a side hustle but support fell unresponsive some times i wanted help with support change nobody is assisting me with that Can some one help me out with that?
INCREDIBLE!
Since beginning to use this app last October I have earned over $1000 from missions there in mind all of these require video responses. Well at least most of them do but it’s totally Worth it. Make sure to do all the applications. You never know what you’ll qualify for highly recommend can’t say enough things.
Glitchy
Several applications are glitchy and doesn’t accept copy and paste when directed to do so. Waste of time.

Where are notifications?
Dscout isn’t notifying me when there are new studies available… So I need to open the app daily to check if there are any studies to apply.

This app is seriously one of the best survey apps I’ve ever seen. I’ve made $200 in a month just doing simple tasks! I love it so much!!!!!!

Deleting an account is such a hassle—you have to waste time contacting support and clicking on a link that doesn’t even work. Why do they have to make it so complicated?
Nice app, but still need some work to become great
I'm using dscout for about a week as I participate in a study. I like like it, but have 2 big points to be fixed: - battery consumption (iOS version) - add possibility to attach screenshots and videos to any step of the entry These are 2 points which, in my opinion, are needed to become a great app
Unable to resume entry
I’m unable to resume my application. I was halfway in my application when it stopped working. There’s a glitch in the app. When I tried to resume my application, the app closed.

I think the old version was better as my app keeps going off, when i click the reward section.
Love this app *UPDATE*
*Update* Im still making money on this app pretty regularly, but you get to disqualified way too easy and from way too many missions of every kind express regular anything. On top of that the payout system has gotten horrible. You sometimes have to wait two or three weeks to get paid. They say 10 business days, so remember the weekends don’t count. If you’re lucky enough to get accepted for an express mission then you’re Guaranteed to to get paid in eight days. But good luck because if you answered literally one single question wrong and it could be an accident even, you immediately get disqualified from the Study ,you have no chance to go back and correct your answer that’s it. It’s over it disappears and you don’t get another chance. Also, some of the researchers if you finish a study, take their time before they process your payment so it’s not only dscout. It’s the researchers. Two studies lately both about 3 to 5 days ago and the researcher has not processed the payment yet telling me they are still. Doing the study with other people and when it closes or when they finish reviewing All the different peoples submissions then they will process the payment. So that is the payment process even longer as if these guy wasn’t long enough they stretch it out even longer. i’m grateful for this that even to this day for everything I’ve been able to experience ,the money I’ve made, the people I’ve met, but they really need to make some improvements. I really hope they listen to my ideas and recommendations. It’s just an honest dscout user of over one year who’s made over $3000. It’s been a couple of times where my express mission was denied for absolutely no reason and was never given an that is rare to happen. And remember the express missions don’t pay as much but I still do there’s something but they’re just hard to get accepted to as the regular studies. You literally have to apply to every single one. And you have to do very good on your interview. Speak very well dressed nicely. It’s like an actual interview for a job to get accepted for one of these missions. Cause this is the best advice I can give you, coming from a very experienced scout (dscout user). You have to have a Little patience And be persistant But you will get Accepted for studys and express Missions. I know it can be frustrating but with persistence ive Made $2489 in my First three months. Ill send anyone a screenshot as proof If you dont believe Me.

I love dscout! Since the end of December, I’ve made $2,000! I just check multiple times a day and apply for EVERYTHING. I’ve never had a mission declined unless it was one I didn’t complete. It’s so easy to qualify! All the researchers I’ve been partnered with are amazing too. I’ve actually learned a lot with this!
Difficulty signing up
I am having difficulty signing up as a new user. After filling my details, It kept taking me back to the sign up page after clicking create account. What’s wrong

I finished the first few steps (very good walktrough) than the app crashed. Now I can't connect to finish my first snippet.

Missions are few and far between and I’ve only had one opportunity to apply for one in months
Parece ser muito bom
O app é bem dinâmico, orienta muito bem , tem tipo um help desk para esclarecer as duvidas e tals. O problema mesmo meus amigos é que você precisa falar com outras pessoas em inglês e eu não sou fluente , me dá tristeza de não conseguir , mas é muito bom viu. Se tiver alguma missão que brasileiros não-fluentes consigam fazer eu volto para falar para vocês se paga certinhos.
SCAM ALERT‼️
I passed two assessments then got into the studies passed a 20$ assessment & another 25$ assessment Dscout told me it’ll be delivered 8 days after completion it’s been 8 days now it’s saying it was rejected out of nowhere and no tests are letting me even on assessment before the study what a waste of my time and anticipation
Shady App, Illegal Practices
I set up an account, went through all of the prerequisites to using it including inputting all my information, just to be denied by labeled as disqualified after answering a single question on nearly every survey I applied to. Despite maintaining relevancy to the particular studies, you will be kicked out almost instantly for the most confusing and irrelevant reasons possible. That’s not the worst part of this app I found, however, despite it being extremely annoying and counterintuitive, The worst part is that you have zero way, at least easy or apparent enough, to delete your account, clear your data, or contact support. You go to settings, and click the “Delete Account” button, just to be told you have to CONTACT THEM to delete your account. You click on the button they give you, and it does nothing. You hold on it and copy the link, and it sends you to their general massive directory of frequently asked questions, not addressing account deletion at all, ever. Want to email them normally? Great, go back, hit “contact us” and it leads you to a dead link. They’re holding your information hostage or making you go through a million hoops to clear it. Blatantly illegal and by all means shady. Use another app.

the best thing that ever happened to me
as a broke college student, this app is GOLD!!!! it does take patience, but the missions are super easy and my roommate and i each have made over 500 dollars within 2-3 months by barely lifting a finger!!!!
Don’t support users
So disappointed! At first this app and the studies worked well. But then twice it froze up on me. The first time they said I was out of luck and to show proof next time. So the second time (different study) I took a video of it not working and submitted it. They told me there was nothing they could do. I followed up twice with a follow up question and I got no courtesy of a response. If the technology is not reliable, don’t waste your time.
What's happening
This app used to work but now when I try to open it ..... Nothing it just crashes every single time So forget about this one . Which is a shame because it was great, but not now

Not what it seems
This app is not what it seems to be. I only apply to studies that interest me and that I think I will qualify for and I will answer one question and then it will tell me I’m not qualified. How do you determine I’m not qualified for study, just by answering one question in the application? That doesn’t seem very fair to me. I have tried applying to multiple studies within a week. To see if I qualify and it all keeps telling me the same information just after answering one or two questions I never qualify, which is very weird.
