Love Spider
Of course I hate the ads but I’m not one to spend money on a game app. My only other quibble is I’ve reached 3910 points, I have all the monthly backgrounds and there’s nothing left to spend points on. No biggie-I’ll keep playing because I’m addicted to spider solitaire
The ads are driving me crazy
I didn't mind the ads placed at the top. The ads at he bottom were more of an issue, but this new pop-up every new game is over kill. I will NOT respond to,any ad that keeps annoying me! Please make ads less intrusive!
Game closes on its own
I’ve played this game for many years and never had any issues. But now it’s closing on its own right in the middle of a game. I tried powering my phone down, but that didn’t work. Next I did the upgrade. Nope. Finally I deleted the app altogether and downloaded anew. Still closing after about a minute of play. This is my favorite game, but I won’t play it if I have to reopen it every minute.

The ads are ridiculous
I don’t mind watching an ad every so often but not every time I want to start a new game! Also, why ask to update an app that is for an ad that I don’t want or even have🤬 Very frustrating!

It’s changed! It ‘was’ great until lately when I had to hold my iPad completely horizontal PLUS today I cannot win for the life of me! Did they turn up the difficulty button or what?
Negatives
I have two major issues with this app. The cards are extremely difficult to see, no matter the card settings, and the distracting shaded part of the screen at the bottom of the board cannot be hidden. There's inches of space to attempt to focus on the cards, and the annoying shaded part takes up 25% of the actual visible screen.
Screen goes black
This was my favorite. Yes, ads are annoying! But…. In the last week or so, the screen goes black, does not refresh. I delete game to avoid any bugs, whatever. When I reload it, the same thing happens within 24 hours. What’ the problem, you guys??

I used to love this app.
When it was updated the new landscape view reduced the number of cards you can see vertically because the menu options take up so much space on the bottom of the screen. If I try to use the portrait view, the cards are too small to see well on my phone. I’ve just stopped playing it.

Ads between almost every game
Why mess with a good thing?
Hate the new horizontal layout. I turn the pad sideways to have bigger cards, then you shrink them by putting the stack in the way! And the undo is on the opposite side now. Need to retrain my thumbs!
Adds still too loud and no way to quiet them.
I guess you don’t care. It ruins a perfectly good screen.
Requests for personal data is pissing me off
I payed for the ad-free version and have played this game for years as a fun distraction. Lately though, between games, it keeps insisting that I “confirm” my age, forcing me to close and reopen the app to avoid answering. They don’t need to know my age! Knock that nonsense off!
Background Music
Are used to love this app. The last week it has started playing background music, and there is no way to shut it off. I tried to “report an issue“ and that screen is blank. I will play this sometimes late at night and cannot tolerate noise while I’m playing. All of my settings are set to “sound off” but that doesn’t seem to help.
Annoying ads
I’ve enjoyed this app for a long time, but it started having ads that blocked the function of the game. It’s so annoying! I refuse to pay to remove ads.

Spider Solitare
In the past, I enjoyed a quick game of Spider Solitare; however, it seems like the math setting up the game under went a radical change, which means little or no chance of “winning” because of frequent duplicate numbers and the omission of others needed to make a complete run. It has taken the fun out of what used to be a fun game. I thought the game had made a change in the algorithm because I won twice. Now it is back to three 8’s and three 1’s, making the game impossible to win and not fun.

Wonderful game. I am addicted. It might take me a week but I manage to win every game but the ads have become very intrusive and not relevant
Fine game, ruined by ads.
The Outbrain ads are particularly obnoxious & can be very difficult to close without being redirected—and this occurs just to play a new game. Nearly ready to delete the game as a result.
Suddenly Loud banging background noise!
Suddenly a loud banging track plays while I’m playing. Not during an ad. Can’t turn it off. Have to close down the game and re-open. And the support goes to a blank page.

Why am I getting music.
I have played the game for years. Long ago I paid to be ad free. Suddenly I’m getting ridiculous and annoying music playing. What is that about? Get rid of it. AND you seem to think I should now pay money monthly to be ad free. What did I pay for before?

Despite sound off, volume 0, games is playing some background thing, and some ads want to make noises as well.

What Happened?
I’ve played this game for a long time and all of a sudden, a few days ago, the ad at the bottom started making the page jump around which makes it hard for me to play. I can’t stand the constant jumping around while trying to concentrate on the cards. Ugh. I will check back every now and then because I love this game, but if this issue isn’t resolved I will download a different version.
No more earwax!

This ad WILL NOT LET YOU PROCEED TO THE GAME! I tried 25, yes 25 times, clicking the X button to escape and every time it directed me to their website! It’s frustrating. Makes me not want to play your game anymore.

Played now for several years but must admit the pop up ads are annoying. Ok when opening the game but after that just a pain! JK
Do not update
Older versions of this app worked fine however, updates have become more and more intrusive. Banners are more touchy and it takes longer to get back. Now, they have Addit a bottom bar which takes up significant field space when viewing in landscape mode. You constantly have to scroll your screen up and down to see what cards or at the top or bottom of your pile.

Extremely poor AI play
Your AI partner will either not cover you on a zero bid or will get three tricks on other bids when it only bid 1. Terrible!!! It will make you frustrated and want to scream!
Annoying
I love the game but the flashing banner at the top of the screen makes me want to quit playing.
Banner at the bottom too large now
Now your menu options are even larger than the ads. The banner with both now takes up too much real estate on the “table.” By enlarging the choices and blending them with the banner space it’s very hard to see the cards. And, after all, that’s what has kept me playing your version of this game for years and years. Now it feels crowded and user-unfriendly, like so many others. Please look to it’s prior iteration to improve. Thank you.

Improve the ad experience
I understand the need for ads but don’t let the manner in which you allow the ads to spoil the game. Ads have destroyed the fun in playing this game. Catch a wake up guys.
New Cards
Normally I love Spider but with the recent change to my cards I have lowered my rating to 4 stars. I prefer a traditional deck.
REMOVING THIS APP LOOKING FOR SOMETHING I CAN PLAY
Now that they added all the intrusive music ADs. Before starting a new game, I turn down the sound on my phone. Then when the noisy AD has started, I close the game. Turn up my phone sound and restart the game.
